I would just like to start off by saying that Im new to NationStates

It seems a major focus of the game revolves around the U.N. My Prinicipality is conservative and pro-buisness and values upholding morality. Ive been juggling the question of applying for U.N. membership but just glancing at previous passed laws I think it would severely jepoardize the beliefs my tiny 5 million but strong people. So now Im faced with the question, is the U.N. worth it? Would comprimising the morals and views my people hold dear turn out for the better? I would like to know....

It seems the U.N. here is the same as in real life, a governing body concerned more about the well being of the individual rather than whats best for society as a whole.

The UN is more concerned about saving the whales and bullying non un members than anything else. The UN just makes you look like everyone else. Make your people stand out......down with the UN

Yeah, like was said..the UN is concerned with making the world the same, and trying to save everything in the process. After they tried to get me to destroy most of my weapons stockpiles, I said to hell with 'em and left. Now they're all mostly a bunch of bleeding hearts, running around crying bloody murder at anything more vicious than someone weeding a garden. And I think one of 'em tried to get that outlawed, too.

Is there a region which is exclusively for Conservative Nations?
