Only 3 years after the government privatized all industry and commerce, the economy collapsed. The 6 major armaments industries in Attica lost contracts in the Reichswehr, causing their stock to drop. This, in turn, hurt other industries, hurting other. By the end of that stock day, every company was down. Panic was strife, and by the end of the week, profits for all companies had dropped 75%.

Unemployment is rising, and the Anarcho-Liberal and Liberal parties are beginning to gain motion because of this.

It is also expected that this sudden economic turn will also effect other nations...

Liberal Parties in territories of Rorisgrad-Beringrad and Karingrad have begun riots in the cities, bringing any remaining economic movement in Attica's east to a halt. The fascist parties in the south, primarily in Polavakia and southern Attica, have started riots in Küpferstadt-Sudseeburg, Cyziezn, and Cdarzyn.

The Reichswehr has also stopped taking orders from the German High Command, meaning that a full scale revolt and civil war may be at hand.

A few distinct political groups have become rather powerful in certain regions.

Dï Royalistpartê
The Royalist Party, the party interested in keeping the monarchy going, is most powerful in the Attiska-region of Northern Attica.

Dï Liberalroyalistpartê
The Liberal Royalist Party, the party interested in creating a constitutional monarchy, is more prevalent in central Attica, near the Addison region.

Dï Liberalpartê
The Liberal Party is a party interested in creating a free democratic government, and is also interested in nationalizing major industries. They are rather prevalent in western Attica.

Dï Volkssozialistische Partê
The Peoples Socialist Party, also known as the Socialist or Communist party, is an extreme left party, that is interested in creating a strong communist state. They are prevalent in the far eastern territories, especially in areas annexed from FPC.

Dï Konservativpartê
The Conservative party is similar to the Liberal party in that they want to create a democratic state, but they want to also create a freemarket situation. They are not particularly strong in any area, and are more spread out.

Dï Nationalsozialistische Attikische Arbêterpartê
The National Socialist party, or the NSAAP, wishes to create a fascist, totalitarian state, based on bigotry and racism. They are prevalent in the extreme south of continental Attica.

Dï Nationalistpartê
The last of the major Attican political parties, the Nationalist Party, sometimes referred to as the Fascist party, wishes to also create a totalitarian state under a fascist government, but not on the racist pretexes of the NSAAP. They are prevelant in Polavakia.

It is beleived that members of Dï Nationalsozialistische Attikische Arbêterpartê, or the NSAAP, have taken control of Castle Stettski in southern Attica. This castle is/was home to the von Stettskis, a prominent southern royal family.

The flag on the castle also has a noted change:

In response to the Nazi actions in southern Attica, the liberal party has taken control of Castle Herzogov in Eastern Attica. There, they launched what they declare to be the future Attican flag.

In reponse to that, the Liberal Royalist party has launched flags that are similar to the Liberal flags.

The Socialists, well, have not really captured anything, but have started releasing pamphlets with their flag on it.

Kahta is going to blockade the waters of Attica to prevent any weaponry from leaving or entering the country. All ships will be boarded and searched.

The Nazis in southern Attica have begun utilizing Guerilla tactics against the Liberal Royalists in Middle Attica. Litovia is also experiencing separatist movements.

The Republic of Litovia has declared independence from Attica.
