The Foreign Ministry has today released a plan aimed at increasing the position,prestige and respectability of the Socialist Workers Democracy of Kanabia in the world.

The plan includes provisions for military and trade alliances with leftist and centrist nations, and embassies and non-aggression pacts available to all nations regardless of political alignment.

While not really isolationist (We maintain cordial relations with many nations), Kanabia has been somewhat unwilling to seek alliances outside of it's own ideological bretheren. This changes today, as the nation seeks cooperation with all nations to reduce military and political tension.

We call on all nations interested to make an application.

We have a fairly protectionist economy, so we don't think that a trade alliance between our nations is very appropriate. We will however, propose a treaty of mutual non-agression and cooperation.

Drabikstan seeks close relations with all socialist nations.

Drabikstan and Kanabia already enjoy military co-operation in support of communist revolutionary movements. We would welcome an expansion of these ties to include trade between our two nations.

The People's Republic of Veskaland will keep a close eye on your country and once you technology has developed we may seek a NAP.

Credonia, a historically proven, fair, and reasonably peaceful nation is always in search of new friends and potential allies to join forces with. Your nation is a likely candidate, and as such, we would like to offer you a mutual defense pact. While we are not socialist, Credonia respects the governments of each and every nation in the world (with the exception of oppressive and illigitimate ones). In return for such a pact, Credonia would like to build a relativly small airbase within your nation to give added protection and deterrents from other nations who may seek to make war with you.

This is most dissapointing. The Imperial Dominion was eager to establish a closer relationship to Kanabia, however, if it is against the wishes of the Kanabian people, we will not violate your sovereignty at all. We eagerly accept this non-aggression pact, and hope for a future with a closer alliance between Kanabia and Sdaeriji. Thank you.

IC: We are currently in the process of determining a feasible and effective location for the base- however, it depends on whether you wish an airbase, army depot or a naval facility...

A naval base will suffice. We await your response.
