Official Presidential Statement[b]

Greval calls for a diplomatic solution to the escalating Communist Mississippi war. Despite our stance, Grenval was more or less dragged into this war by unforseeable past actions. We do not wish to become the enemy of the international arena, and therefore call upon all players to reach a solution diplomatically.

We have tried diplomacy. However, you have to be willing to back up diplomacy with force. This is one of those times.

Diplomacy has not been tried adequately. Grenval will not accept and unprovoked attack on a nation who has been following NATO requests to the letter. We do not wish to make enemies, only to do what is right, regardless of past actions.
