The vessel's power plant will consist of a series of twelve newly developed Biodiesel turbines, which are more environmentally friendly than the Navy's standard LM-2500 gasoline turbines. Propulsion will be provided by four shafts with five blades on each prop and during trials the ship has reached and sustained a speed of 31 knots. Revenge class vessels carry a compliment of 2,080 (137 Officers, 1,943 Enlisted) as well as a detachment of 200 Marines and storage space for two CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopters for Marine deployment.

The Revenge class battleship also has many improvements over the older Invincible class vessels in armaments and protection. Its been given a double hull made of reinforced steel to protect it against Anti-Shipping Missiles and torpedos. Heated and cooled repeatedly, the steel becomes superhardened and makes for excellent resistance against battle damage.

For its primary armament, the ship carries twin Mk.41 Vertical Launching systems (An improvment over the older ship designs as they carried armoured launch boxes) for the use of the newly adapted Hypersonic HyStrike Land-Attack Missile and nine 406mm/55-calibre guns which have improved range due to assisted rounds, which when tested, have been proven to reach the range of 108 kilometres and remain accurate enough to strike targets effectively. Secondary weapon systems on the Revenge class include sixteen 203mm/45-calibre guns and four Quad Cell Launchers for Harpoon Anti-Shipping missiles. For defence against enemy missiles, the ship has four 30mm Goalkeeper Close-In Weapon Systems and a thirty-two cell Vertical Launch Seawolf Block 2 system which has been proven to stop 4.5-inch shells in addition to incoming missiles.
