The Shivan warmaster Cron'is gazed out at the ending battle before him. The seige of the Gallinpoton system had just ended and the threat of the robot shivans was practically over.

Milenia ago the real shivans had created robot versions of themselves to defend them(real shivans). And they had done their job very well, until their Artificial Intelligence developed into Actual Intelligence the hive mind had decided that they shoudn't take orders from these lesse beings and began attacking them. Fortunately not all defense had been turned over to the robots and the real shivans began to mount a defence. Unfourtanatley it wasn't good enough and they began to lose systems one by one. The death count was over a trillion. Eventually the robots decided they could send a large force to another galaxy and destroy the human race. A few years after the fleet had left the shivans unveiled a weapon they had been working on for years, but it was deployed a little sooner than planned, when an attack by the robots came and destroyed the planet and all the reserch on the weapon. Fourtanatley though it was operational and they began to defeat the robots, before the end of the war however the weapon was destroyed, but it mattered little as enough damage had been done to the robots that they were easily defeated.

The problem of what to do with the robots in the other realm remained though, most were sure that the human race had been obliterated. But if they hadn't o even if they had the shivans had to stop their creations from makeing anymore races extinct. So it was decided that a large fleet would be sent to hunt down the remaining robots and destroy them, and if the human race still existed to help them rebuild. Cron'is had been picked to lead the force and stared at the gate he would be going through. Into an unknown area full of enemies he accepted the challenge and welcomed it.

Heh.... We eagerly await the destruction of those "robot" Shivans that have destroyed so much...

Cron’is stood at the bridge of the Faerun one of the two Bhaal class dreadnaughts being sent on the mission, Too’aki’nar commanded the other. The fleet had one world ship in it and 10 Nirvana class space stations. If any human beings were still alive it was thought that perhaps one could be set up in some of their systems for trade and to help in rebuilding the damage the robots had caused. As the fleet moved through the gate and into the unknown Cron’is hoped the humans still lived, he didn’t want the death of another sentient species on his species head.

As the fleet exited the gate they came into a system littered with wreckage from shivan ships and the ships that had to be humans.

Cron’is looked towards one of the crewmen and said, “How old is that wreckage?”
“It looks like it’s over 200 years old, probably from when they first arrived.”
“Perhaps these humans have survived, judging from the losses the robots must have taken here. Send a message out to any human vessels present, tell them we wish to speak with them, turn off all weapons and subspace shields.”
“Yes, sir.”

And so the message was sent perhaps it would lead to the end of war for both species as they entered an alliance against the robots or start another war.

200 years? They Shivans have only been here that long? well that keeps them from being the evil that chased the Ancestors from Terra...

So what about the other people who are real shivans but you say arent real shivans but devoutly believe are real shivans? And lets not even get into the whole Canon deal of if THOSE were 'mechanical shivans' as well...Cause once you start going against canon, you're way, way wrong.

Actually, TOR hasn't been told, and is wondering why Ekardia just started this nonsense out of the blue. If you could explain to me a little better what the hell you just said in the first post, I might agree to it, or at least not be quite so annoyed.

And I'd be quite happy to talk to Mekanta, and it seems that he already added me to his MSN.

I told you something of this nature would happen it just happened sooner than expected. The shivans we were are robots created by the shivans i am starting to rp as, they had a war the robots lost, and now the real shivans have come to this galaxy to kill the remaining robots.

Because the Shivans in NS have been altered from the ones in Freespace, they're no longer Canon.

...Ah. Well,thank you for that note, Mek, one more issue I wasnt quite aware of.
In that case, still, you cant just go around saying what everyone else is without consulting them first.

IB dictated stuff about us without consulting me the first shivan nation on ns, he said we live in subspace and on worldships, and as the first shivan nation I should be able to dictate some stuff about us, thsi was suggested in the fs games that the shivans were created by another race.

I will be watching this thread to see if it actually gets going anywhere. However, right now, I have the AoN expansion thread to worry about. Meaning, I am not sure of how much free time I will have.

I am involved in so many wars that I can't really do anything about this unless the "real" Shivans show up and destroy the ones that me, Vi2o, Coreworlds, etc, will be fighting...

I wouldn't worry about it too much, lads. This won't get off the ground, and if it does, it won't matter for long. As soon as the ESUS gives me the go-ahead, we'll be ending this war.
