The primary focus of this fortifacation is to construct a wall around the coastline of Madagascar. This wall will be constructed about 50 meters away from where the land meets the ocean. This wall will be 3 meters thick, 5 meters high, and about 4,830,000 meters long. The wall will be composed of a .5 meter core of lead with 1.25 meters of concrete on each side of it. On top of the wall will rest a layer of razor ribbon. This will consume 4,830,000 meters of razor ribbon, 10,950,000 cubic meters of lead, and 60,375,000 cubic meters of concrete.
Several secondary fortifacations will be constructed on the front face of the wall. These will include machine gun nests and 40mm grenade launcher nests. A machine gun nest will be built every 100 meters. A 40mm grenade launcher nest will be built evert 200 meters. In total, 48,300 machine gun nests and 24,150 40mm grenade launcher nests will be built. In order to operate these all of these structures at once, 144,900 men will be required.
Along the beach, outside the wall, several deterences will be placed. These deterences will include jagged metal spikes, 2 meters high by .5 meters wide by .25 meters in depth. Rows of razor ribbon line the beach as well. The beaches are also to be covered with landmines.
Behind the wall, 36" guns, missle batteries, artillery pieces, and catapults for launching aircraft(like those on aircraft carriers) will be constructed. Every 10,000 meters, in sets of 2. In total 966 catapults will be built. A set of 2 36" rail guns will be built every 10,000 meters as well. In total 966 Rail guns will be constructed. 12,075 Towed artillery pieces will be used, with one placed every 800 meters. Also, every 800 meters a missle battery containing 10 missle cells will be built. In total, there will be 120,750 missle cells.
A massive part of this fortifacation, technologically will be the integration of tactical laser systems. Every 25,000 meters a T.H.E.L. s (Tactical High Energy Lasers) will be placed. In total 193 T.H.E.L. s will be placed. These will serve as anti-air and anti-missle defenses.
Within the territorial waters of Madagascar, thousands of mines will be placed. These mines will be wired together in quadrants. A few quadrants will make up a sector. All mines will be remotely connected to control stations located in central Madagascar. From these stations, quadrants and entire sectors of mines can be disarmed, allowing ships to pass through. The only effect that this will have on foreighn trade, is that now incoming merchant vessels will have to have authorization to entire Madagascar's territorial waters during a time of war. These mines will only be active during a time of war.
It is estimated that it will take between 14 to 21 years for completion. The estimated cost is estimated to be between 25 to 40 trillion dollars. This money will be payed out over a course of 50 to 100 years.
