For any nation that is not interested in naval helicopters, an Army/Marine model of the Firestorm, the H-1A/M, is now under production. The weapons included with it are: the same as the naval variant only minus the torpedoes, bombs, sonobuoys, sonar, and sea search radar. It comes with 8 each of both types of air to air missile, 4 hellfire rocket pods, and a nose mounted minigun. All other specs are about the same.
Cost of the H-1A/M is the same as the H-1N.

I'm starting to feel really pathetic. If you see something in the specs or price that you don't think is accurate, please let me know.

Antimatter reactors? Exactly what is you tech level?
Squornshelous

I am a future tech nation, which is quite reasonable for the amount of time Squornshelous has been around.

Nations tend to stay in the same tech level, no matter how long they have been around. You are welcome to switch, but you do not "evolve". Otherwise, nations who have been around for three years, even if they started as a past tech nation, would be able to clobber the Federation. That does not happen, however... tech level is a choice which stays constant until you change it.

OOC: The subs are fine, though listing the displacements would be a nice and welcome addition.

However, the destroyers are a problem. You see, destroyers cost hundreds of millions of dollers, not hundreds of thousands. I would advise multiplying the cost of each one by at least 500 times (a bit more for the ones with nuclear reactors - those add quite a bit to the cost).

Also, don't rely too much on trainable launchers. VLS is generally better, which is why it has pretty much replaced the pop-up trainable launchers in most navies. You should also post the number of missiles of each type, and again, displacement would be nice. That's the primary method of comparing size you know.

The helicopter is also a bit underpriced. Mk.50 torpedoes are anything but cheap, and the armament you list as coming with the helicopter alone costs twice as much as the price listed. As for the helicopter itself, good ASW units pack a lot of expensive systems, and cost as much as cheaper fighter aircraft. $20 million+ is the norm, and $30-40 million isn't unheard of.

Yeah, it just occured ot me that the chopper costs more than any of the destroyers.

I'll fix that in a little bit.
