This is basically me asking, have I made an impact on foreign policy? If so how? Is my RP good? Am I a power? If so what kind?

I think like many nations our size you know a good amount of people and you know what to do on NS but your not yet well known. Your name isn't instantly recognizable like CMs or Automagfreeks or even Credonia. So besides being uber sexy I don't think your well known. Neither am I for that matter. Praetonia maybe though just because he has the huge Imperial Praetonian Shipyards.

Yer definatly not a 'power'; from what little Ive seen of you, you seem to have a fair amount of respect amoung your peers, and you're large enough that you can assert power over small, non-newbie nations. So, you've probally rate as a respectible third or fourth tier power; Canada'd be about right, cept yer not as well knows or respected.

THAT'S not too hard. I was able to get a country with roughly the same population as mine to back down pretty quickly when I was a scrawny little 120 million pop country.

powers and superpowers do not exist on NS, its all about egos and how big your head is or how far its up your own arse. Genuine RPers have no concern over who powerful anyone or how strong another is.
In my opinion and experience those who declare themselves as superpowers are trying to make up for their mundane lives and have no life.

to answer the original question, i been away for a bit and haven't noticed TIOR maybe i'll answer again when i read some more posts :)

As part of the British Empire at the time, we reserve the right to joke about bloodying the yanks in the War of 1812; besides, there were militia and native combatants on our side, it wasn't entirly the British(indeed, the natives were employed to suprising effectivness).


It is also blaintently obvious that you also know nothing about Canada, our culture, our exemplary military record, our contributions to the international community, etc, etc.

Now, about that policy you have when you meet new people...

Lets just say any nation which can affect another nation is a power.

So TIOR for instance say if you wnet to war with an Uber army like AMF(or any other militarist 2 billion+er AMF just comes to mind as he posted a few back), you lose, but you still do a fair lot of damage, so while hed fight you if he had to as a good RP'er he act like a real government and think twice before risking the manpower.

It wouldnt do any harm really, but what sensible government or even heartless dictator is going to risk the kind of manpower it takes to supress an army over over a million without good cause?

He'd win, but you make that thought occur. Which is abut the best you can hope for from any nation in NS who is actually worth RP ing with...

While im at it. Tiro as we are pretty simular sizes (yes so i was blowing my own trumpet too) and you arent a warmongering n00b (which ive seen in nations five times your size)
