Bombing In Reichsburg; Terrorism in GP Escalates
Last night, the Imperial Gendarme Headquarters in Reichsburg, Reichskamphen, was site to a heinous bombing that destroyed the building.
The worst loss, of course, was that of the lives of 45 Gendarmes, including General Feldmarschall Count von Herzenstein, Commander of the Police force. 23 others were wounded in the blast.
Greater Prussian Emperor Paisley has decreed a region-wide day of Prayer and Remembrance, and has ordered 100,000 new troops and 800 tanks be mobilized in all GP nations.
"The division of the donation is unimportant," Paisley said, "It is the donation that counts. Do it any way you can." The Emperor has yet to name a successor to Count von Herzenstein.
And the perpetrators to this abominable act of terrorism? It has been hinted to be a radical Jesuit fringe group.
The Holy See still has yet to comment on the situation.
Greater Prussia, of course, still has the resources to muster more troops to defend us in this pivotal struggle, on which the very future of our region rests.
This reporter prays for those lost, and for the dissolution of the sad barriers that exist in Christianity.

BREAKING NEWS
Imperial Commander Arrested; Implicated as Leader of Terrorists
GeneralFeldMarschall Count Friederich von Magdeburg, Commander of the Imperial Armies and Guard, was recently arrested for heading the fringe Catholic insurgency that has recently been plaguing Greater Prussia, most recently manifesting itself in the bombing of the Gendarme's Headquarters.
This success in the struggle against the terrorists has come after months of surveillance by the late Honorable Count von Herzenstein, who was killed in the Gendarme HQ bombing. Imperial Gendarmes taped Magdeburg's phones and found a paper trail linking him to the radicals, and placing him at the helm of the killers.
"This is extremely shocking," said Emperor Dr. Paisley. "I feel betrayed, and I am furious at him. He shared my confidence and stabbed me, and the people of this country and this Empire in the back! May God have mercy upon his soul, because this Government will not have mercy upon his worldly form!"
Said Imperial Foreign Minister Count Dietrich von Oberhausen,
"Normally, as Foreign Minister, I am diplomatic...but I hope this man burns in Hell for what he has done...the innocent lives he has taken and the blood he has shed. I pray that the Emperor will forego the judicial process and sentence him to execution. I hope he is hanged drawn and quartered!"
The Wolf in Sheep's clothing von Magdeburg was arrested quickly and without incident by Imperial Gendarmes in his office. He is currently being held on One Count of Imperial Treason, brought to bare by Emperor Paisley, and two Counts of Treason against Reichskamphen, brought by King Marcus Antonius II of Reichskamphen, the first being High treason and an attempt to subvert and destroy the Government, and the second being an attempt to destroy the Thompsonite Revolution settlement and the Protestant Crown.
Herzenstein’s evidence against Magdeburg might have been lost in the Gendarme HQ bombing, had not he placed the documents been placed in a fireproof safe.

On behalf of all Catholics, and especially the members of my region, "The Papacy" I would like to officially denounce the heinous acts of the Catholic terrorists in your region. This is a horrible way of trying to change a government.
To the Catholic Rebels I make this appeal: Meet with the authorities, discuss this peaceably. The killing of non-combants is horribly sinful. May God have mercy on your souls.
To the Government of Reichskamphen: You are doing the right thing by fighting these insurgents. Please, however, continue to strive towards a peaceful solution, no matter how hard it becomes. I would also plead with the Emperor to prevent this man from being executed. Justice must be served, this man must be imprisoned, but a beg of you, do not execute him. His crimes were heinous, but if kept behind bars he is no longer a threat to your society. Remember, dear brother, that revenge is not Justice.
With my deepest Condolences and prayers,
Magnificus Eques Pio Magnus,
Knight of Christ,
Member of "The Papacy"
