Ok, this is a fantasy RP ((Dur)) set with a medieval tech level. There are six nations on an average sized continent. People MUST be able to post regularly, don't join unless you can. Now, the nations are as follows:

1. THe Entarian Empire:
The Empire is the continents super power; it holds the largest number of citizens. It is however, split by one major problem. While the legions are the best trained army in the world, they must be hired by the Empire. The only ones that do not are those native to Entaria, these ones serve as the garrioson for the home land of Entaria. The Emporer manages the kingdom by setting kings to each of there own lands, and then the kings manage all the day to day things as well as garriosons. The Entarians have not fought a major war for years, and so they have centers of learning, Including the Imperial Magic collage and Universty in The City of Entarians. Playing the Entarians you will have:
-A large nation with a population of 1.2 million.
-A large land mass, Controling most of the west.
-An army of 300 thosand, most of witch searve as Merciaries.
-A very happy population.
-Very Good looking cities that would not searve as defences. But you don’t need defences. Your army is huge.

2. The Nalar tribes.
The Nalar are a group of Nomadic People who are very Inventive of Racial Purity. They take the ideas to the extrem. No person may marry a person of a different race, unless it is for Political reasons, and even then children are not considered heirs. They are not Cavalry like most nomads, but instead great foot soldiers. They are Directly south of Alethria, and have been raiding the northern border for years. They have no centers for learning, and almost no written langue. They are one of the only nations that do not have many mages, and they are usually ruled by a Warlord. Playing the Nalar you will get the following:
-A Population of about 340 thousand.
-An army of about 60 thousand.
-A very anti-other people nation. They take prisoners only to kill them at lesure.
-A very bad political system.

3. The Kingdom of Syitha.
Syitha is the land of the horses. And the Horse is the main part of their life. All Syithians can ride like the best knights at the age of 20, and they can shoot an arrow while riding at two hundred paces. They have many small settlements and only three cities, Sycirun, Sythiac and Anraka. They can shrug of the most vile of insults, as they belive that only if there people say it will be true, and then they do not deny it. They have a very compicated system of magic, one that allows any clan chief to use it. They do not use it unless they are in battle, or they are in major ceromonies, and they feel it an insult to the gods to ask for any more then nessersary. If you Play the Syithans you will have:
-A population of over 400 thousand, but they are spread out over a large amount of land.
-An army of about 100 thousand. Almost no infantry in it at all.
-A very laid back people, who are not insulted, or anything else.

4. The Cylestions
The Cylestions live on an island the size of Brittan. While they have almost no Land forces, they posses a great navy. They are almost impossible to reach, and even then you would be defeted by the small land force. The Empire has tried many times to invade, and every time they have failed. They are VERY skilled in Water and Ice magic, and that makes them almost unstoppable in the sea. They are mostly a Confeditry of pirates that live without touching each other. If you play them you will have the following:
-A population of about 200 thousand,
-A fleet larger and more powerful then any other nation.
-A great amount of sea magic.
-A large number of retired Priate captins who rule as a body.

5. The Republic of The Cygathi
The Republic is a nation based to the north of the Syithan Kingdom. It is a democracy, and has almost no army. They are however, protected by a huge mountine range. This surrounds them and has very few passes that could allow an army to travel. They hold this with a Republician legion each one about 6 thousand men. Playing the Cygathi you would have:
-A population of about 723 Thousand
-An army of 30 thousand.
-A well protected homeland.
-A very powerful National economy. ((Happy people =More production.))

6. The Alethrians.
The Alethrians are the Desert People. They live to the south of the Empire and Syitha and hold mostly desert that has unproductive soil. The people have become great warriors however, having a large number of people in the army. The Averge hight of an Alethrian is about 7 feet, and they are heavily built. They have a rigied sence of hounor, and they will kill most for an insult people did not even know was one. They get most of their economy from the fact that within the walls of the City of Alethria stands the place where magic is learned the best, the Magic University. Most people join here, and they get the best training. They can learn all types of magic here, and many are sent just for the experience. The ruler is the smartest, strongest and best mage in the entire nation, so the election prosses takes a long time. Playing the Alethrians will include.
-A population of about 500 thousand.
-The single Greatest Magic school known to man.
-An army of about 100 thousand, all of witch trained very well.
-The entire southern desert.

I will be the Alethrians, and I hope you join fast. I have allowed for you each to have one Major creature, as well as choose the race your people are. You do not have to tell us IC what the creature is. Thanks.

And the Empire is not the greatest of nations, it has a good economy, but it would be bankrupt if it hired all the legions, plus because they are Mercenaries other people can hire them to.

Ba, can't be bothered. You may start, frankly the Nalar can come in at any time. SO start. Be politcal, and Auferstehn, please don't declare war on anyody straight away, your people try to avoid war, they find it messy. And please post your race and One great creature like a Kraken or something.

IC The King of Alethria walked out of the throne room towards the war chambers, his generals following. When they reached the chamber they entered one at a time. They filed around the round table, showing in the millatary there is no one commander, and then sat. They immidiatly started to talk.
"THe rebels to the south have been crushed, they no longer pose as a threat. The Hopilights are returning now." A short Alethrian, Only 6 feet in hight said. "They where happy to loot and pillage until they came up against the Phalanx. Then when they tried to flee there was a group of Elephents comeing at them. They immidiatly surrendered." He smiled. "But Elephents are hard to stop, and I ws not going to kill them to keep some rebels alive. THe ones that survived where sent to the north. so now the garrisons there are renforced." He looked back. "So what happened here your majesty? I am dieing to know where that Nalar Ambasitor went."
"He returned home in two pieces my friend, he allowed his shadow to touch me, and then drew a sword on me instead of apologing. Even te Nalar warlord will see why he needed to go home a head shorter." He smiled. "Our Dragon Queen has been grouchy. As normal she is demanding more triutes for us to learn her magic, and we give them"
"Honestly Sir, I don't se why you keep Her." A gray haired man said with a smile. "All she does it teach at the univercity, is her magic really that good?" He asked.
"Well, she taught me, and I am have not beaten her in a magic duel yet. So yes, she is." THey all fell into laughter.

Lessr Tsurani. Could I join the RP?? I could create my own race, which will be very insignificant

If I can...

The Magiria. A small race, who all live in the one city. There are about 4,500 of them, and all of them are devoted to magic. They follow the magical schools of Divination, Conjuration, Illusion and Necromancy. There are a few who follow elemental-based schools of magic or the other schools of Evocation, Abjuration and the Forbidden Art, Rifting. The City, Mailirius, is cloaked under a permanent shield of illusion. It lies within the deserts of Alethria, when it broke off thousands of years ago, when magic was forbidden, and those who learnt it, killed. Most people who practice there, refuse to use any magics relating to killing. The government is a Magrocracy, with the strongest mage ruling the city. The next strongest seven mages, make up the council of Seven, who make all diplomatic decisions. An ancient alliance with Alethria has let them stay relatively untouched by the world.
Although they do not have a single centre of learning, their mages travel all over the world, seeking to know more, and better themselves. They have an ancient artifact, the Kirial Crystal, which, when a great mage dies, his knowledge evaporates into the crystal, letting the next ruler absorb his knowledge, and become even greater. They pay tribute to Alethria, and are generally considered a part of it. But, they have their own laws and customs, and mages are considered slightly higher in class then normal people. Very few people are not mages, but many visitors do not use magic. They manufacture magical scrolls and wands, and sell them to Alethria. Their most prominent magical item, is the Memory Crystal. This acts as a miniature Kirial crystal, and can store almost a lifetime worth of memories. A raid from the Nalar set back learning almost 500 years.

If that is accepted, hear out my RP.

Hyrian, High Mage of Mailirius, sighed. He had a long day, with all the business practices with the new merchant trains arriving, and hundreds of trangressions had come before him, and he was exhausted. He collapsed into his bed, until Malires, one of the Seven came to wake him. He swore at Malires, who decided to leave him alone, as a merchant stealing 13 copper pieces form a mage, to see if they were enchanted. When Hyrian woke, he decided to send an emissiary to Alethria. He decided to ask for a set of courts to be implemented in Malirius, as having to deal with every single crime in the city was nearly killing him. He decided to go back to bed, and sleep for a day, setting a Ward so no one could wake him...

OOC Yes you can. You gave me the idea for the way I set it up. Just s sugestion, I would go to the Empire For the courts, the Alethrians are Very touchy, and like I said, take offence at meaningless things. The Nalar Ebassy died because he let the Shadow touch the King, and he did not apoligise. So go to the Empire unless you want that kind of thing. I am going to try to get a map. BTW, If no one posts within a week they will be kicked, if they come back and there is someone else there then Bad luck, I said only if you can post regualy. Unless you have a exsuce then I will kick you.

IC The King walked dow the hall ways of Alethria. He need council, and Arranialania was one of the wisest creatures he knew. He entered the large room and the sigh he saw, as it did every other time, took his breath away. In the middle the room was an altar, but it was as long and wide as a city block. On it stood a huge golden dragon, who fitted on the altar with her tail hanging off the edge and going back around to her middle. Her head did much the same thing and he thick hide wings covered her face.
"Oh teacher" He said in the most formal voice possible "Why do you shun the light? Why not share and enjoy what Aethri has given you?" He asked, invokking the name of the Alethrian god.
Sleeping, came the reply in a powerful mental voice. What do you want Student? I was haveing a nice dream before you came in. And I want to get back to my mate before he grows bored.
"You must tell me how to do that one day." He said with a smile. "But onto the matter I came to you for. As we all know the Nalar and Alethrians have always been in a state of Undeclared war. And we also do not know who would win that conflict. Both of us has equel resorses, that is to say very few except man power. I wonder should we finally try to finish the war that was started? Or should we let them live, and find our njoyments somewhere else? Is that worth waking you for?" He smiled again. The great dragon removed her giant wing from the place of her head and neck showing a very long musled neck with an arrow like head at the end. It had many colors in the eye at one time.
Never go for war unless it is nessersary, you must choose if it is nessercary. She then resheathed her head and er minds presence was gone. THe Alethrian king left the room with much on his mind.

The Magirian ambassador to Alethria opened a telepathic link with his King. He wished to know whether to offer the Alethrians aid in the possible upcoming war. The King denied permission, as this might alienate them with the other nations, whose friendship they sorely needed.

The King was discussing with the Kirial Crystal on whether to move his city or not. He sorely disliked being dependent on Alethria, and wished to move to an island, where they would not be bothered. He also little liked the fact that magic, an ancient and powerful force, was being used for.....commerce. He knew that if his people could truly claim a green a verdant land for their own, they could become a nation, and share the secrets of Asheria among all. (Asheria was a great Archmage who discovered thousands of spells, artifacts and 3 new schools of magic) But they needed their own land, as Alethria nearly controlled them all. He had to do this in secret to even have a chance at attempting it, but he would try. He then asked the near-infinite knowledge of the Kirial Crystal what to do - It's overwhelming mindforce pushed these words into his head

YOU MUST CHOOSE WHAT YOU THINK BEST. IF YOU FAIL, YOU WILL BURN IN ETERNAL DAMNATION. TRY IF YOU MUST, BUT DO NOT BE SURPRISED IF YOU FAIL.

He winced at the answer, and went to his rooms to contemplate his course of action.

OOC: KK. The king might as well develop his own laws

Hysiria. a Member of the Magi Council was having trouble opening a rift, in his secret shielded laboratory. Although it was forbidden, punishable by death, he HAD to try. He poured an inconceiveable amount of power into it, trying to force it open by sheer audacious will alone. Slowly, ever so slowly it.....began....to....open! He slowly wasted every last vestige of his power, holding it open. He had no strength to fight against the MIND which suddenly infested every little facet of his being. "THIS WILL BE A SUITABLE HOST BODY, FOR NOW...." A voice filled with tremendous, ancient evil spoke out of his body. He felt it slowly fusing with his will, making it powerful, more powerful then he could've ever imagined. His body began to fade slightly, his eyes sinking into their sockets as a result of the tremendous strain put upon his human body. His skin paled, and some of his hairs turned grey. His eyes turned a tundric blue, with tiny flecks of black continually running up his eyes, giving him a quite fearsome appearance. He walked out of the laboratory, who knows what he might do...

The great creature on the dasis raised its head. It then sent out a roar that shook the Walls of the city. It then sent out a surge of metal infomation.
Someone has been tampering with fobbiden magic, find them and bring them to me. Do not Try to destroy them yourself they have power that only the gods can counter. She then fell, using a number of different sounds that formed one of the most complicated forms of magic there was.

Kyriscal, as he now called himself, walked into the empty council chamber. Empty except for Kerorn, the weakest of the Seven. Kerorn said " Hysiria, what on earth are you doing here, you know I booked this session with the Kirial crystal" Kyriscal didn't answer, he simply walked up to him and placed his hand on Kerorn's chest" A kind of corrupted green power flowed through his limbs and into Kerorn. Kerorn never even got a chance. When Kyriscal walked out of there, he was accompanied by another. Kyrithkanal, his bodyservant and informer.

Kyriscal drew a magical circle around himself, raised his hands...and was gone.
Kyrithkanal withdrew his twin blades from their scabbard, and was gone a mere instant later. As the king led about 750 powerful mages south, to create another city, along with the Kirial Crystal, Kyriscal summoned a great golem made from sand and clay. It stood a full 100 feet tall, and easily 25 feet wide. Kyithkanal's twin blades seared into it, leaving lines which constricted the sand's movement, making sure it stayed in place. The lines that he had drawn were green, alight with unholy fire, blazing darkly, sucking in the light wherever it went. The golem strode quickly towards the virtually undefended city, leaving a trail of darkness wherever it went (OOC: Im trying to create a villain, as fantasy doens't work so well without one) As it reached the wall, it hit the wall once, and the wall collapsed. Fire ran through the citie's ley lines, corrupting the natural power that had lain there for centuries. Wherever it touched the ley lines, the lines themselves lit on fire. The fire sucked in the light, leaving the city completely sheathed in darkness. The wizards attempting to stem the flow with their own magic, were instantly corrupted, helping in the destruction rather than stop it. Every non-magical person who was killed by the fire, rose up as undead wights, draining life from all others around them. All who were killed by the wights, became zombies, directly under the liches control. In just a few hours, the once vibrant and beautiful city had fallen, undead roaming the streets, and hundreds of liches commanding them. A few villagers got away, as well as the Council, who had just began a journey to Alethria to speak with the Alethrian king. The villagers soon caught up with the remaining Council, who instantly teleported to Alethria's capital. One of the Council was barred by a guard, and he blasted him immediately out of the way, using the reserves of his magic. He ran in and opened a mind-link to the king. "Magiria has fallen to an unknown magic, The King and his Legion (750) have travelled south, and liches rule the city. Can you aid us in some way, since all who try and use magic within the city are transformed into liches. We cannot mind-link with the King or any of his Legion. Can you aid us in some way?"

The remaining members of the council ran into the dragon's room, nearly stumbling over themselves as they went. Meanwhile, hundreds of wights, thousands of undead, and about fifty liches ruled the city of Magiria. Creatures formed of sand, rocks, and just about any spare material that could be found travelled north, evidently trying to travel to Alethria. Magic circles of protection, sigils and wards were set up all around the city, and a great obelisk had risen out of the ground in the central city, glowing with hundreds of corrupted green sigils, putting a ghoulish light around the city. To any who had strong magic, the very earth itself screamed in unimaginable agony.

-------

The King's caravan travelled south, with his Legion of mages riding ahead and opening portals once they got far enough ahead. The Æthran heat was devilish, eminating heat from the portals wherever they opened. The caravan had travelled hundreds of miles in just two days. The Corruption to the north of them prevented anyone communicating with them, although the king had forgot to try at all.
