"As the Under Pact Earth Corps have been further locked out from support from the Imperium now that our facilities are complete, we are in need of a way to make money."

"What better way than selling the equipment we produce?"

"All prices are in United States currency for convinience. All units are equipped with hydrogen reactors. Simply provide units with pure hydrogen to maintain operation."

MAI-S
These small weapons can move at high speed over terrain, and harass infantry with their nose-mounted pistol-level guns. Their smaller brains give them less effective targetting AIs, but still possessing deadly accuracy, and their maneuvering and speed make them difficult to hit. Roughly the size of a medium dog and with a top running (skittering?) speed of 45 miles per hour, the MAI-S makes an excellent scout.
$5000 Per MAI-S

MAI-X
MAI-XC (Commander) Variant Available
MAI-XDS (Darkstalker) Variant Available
A general-purpose humanoid robot designed with handling human weaponry in mind. These fighting machines are more durable than human warriors, more efficent, and highly dangerous in hand-to-hand combat. Their aim is almost perfect, even under fire, and can outsnipe even the best human snipers. Their tactical ability is slightly above that of the average human soldier, and can out-think their human "equivalents" easily. They need no sleep, or food, and they can operate anything a human can. You must provide all firepower.

The Commander Variant has a much more advanced neural core, and boosts the tactical effectiveness of a unit of MAI-X soldiers. Few human field commanders can out-think these machines.

The Darkstalker Variant is equipped with more advanced joint actuators and pressurized climbing spikes to cling to low-density surfaces. All are equipped with retractable wrist-mounted blades fed poison from internal tanks. The lower arm is also equipped with a silenced sniper-rifle level gun with a zoomable camera scope. A primative active camoflague system consisting of LCD panels under clear armor and ninja programming in addition to standard AI make the Darkstalker an excellent assassin.
$12,000 USD per MAI-X
$19,000 USD per MAI-XC
$27,000 USD per MAI-XDS

MAI-B
MAI-BMD (Mass Driver) Variant Available
MAI-BBM (Battery Missile) Variant Available
The "Behemoth" is the "tank" of UPEC, . The standard Behemoth wields four heavy machine guns capable of piercing armor, with a substancial amount of ammunition carried inside. It's targetting ability is nearly flawless at medium to distant range, but up close its only defence is to stomp its enemies. This tactic, however, is only effective against infantry and smaller vehicles.

The Mass Driver variant of the MAI-B possesses four mass drivers (aka Railguns) instead of the chainguns. They excel at long-range attacks, making them effective artillery units. They possess air-targetting abilities, and are more than capable of taking out any naval units foolish enough to come within its considerable range.

The Battery Missile variant is, exactly what it seems like, a walking missile platform. Capable of supporting four missile batteries, two head mounted and two body mounted, the MAI-BBM can unleash hell on air or, with certain missiles, ground and naval forces.
$15,000,000 per MAI-B
$57,000,000 per MAI-BMD
$25,000,000 per MAI-BBM

MAI-P
MAI-PM (Modular) variant available
MAI-PAA (Amphibious Assault) variant available
MAI-PX (Advanced) variant available
MAI-DS (DarkStalker) variant available

A highly adaptable unit, the MAI-P series is designed for flexibility. While not as adaptable as the MAI-X, the MAI-P is just as at home when laying waste to infantry as scrapping armor. As with all Mekantan units, it's aim is flawless and it's efficiency is devestating to its enemies.

The MAI-P is equipped with four nose-mounted machine guns and an armor-piercing anti-tank gun directly below. Reloading is easy. Simply provide the MAI-P with boxes of ammunition and it does it all itself. The MAI-P will happily tell you the specifications.

The MAI-PM is a modual-based design that can equip various weapon types. Currently, Mekantan R&D has these types released.
Rocket Launcher - $1000 USD
Autogun - $700 USD
Stungun - $200 USD
Mass Driver - $2500 USD

The MAI-PAA is capable of underwater operation, and is useful for assaulting underwater facilities, or taking out coastal units.

The MAI-PX is a more elite version of the standard MAI-P. It's much more mobile, and in tests has been shown to be able to run circles around a force of tanks.

The MAI-PDS is the pride of Mekantan R&D. Equipped with an active-camoflague system and the ability to mask its thermal image through a highly advanced cooling system, the MAI-PDS can slip inside a military installation and cause havoc that can cripple the base's operations.
$40,000 USD per MAI-P
$39,500 USD per MAI-PM
$55,000 USD per MAI-PAA
$65,500 USD per MAI-PX
$170,000 USD per MAI-PDS

We advise all nations to practice extream caution when dealing with Mekanta AI, they are substandard when it comes to dealing with commen situations a human would have no trouble with.

The Empire, for once, takes note of actions beyond its own modest borders, and makes it's own overt (albeit circumspect) inquiries into the nature, quality, and feasibility of these machines... as well as seeking clarification on how they can be sold with such exceptional capabilities, and still cost less than a good call girl, while a battle tank racks up a tab of several million dollars, per unit.

Something is amiss here. Very amiss. Aside from the obvious, that space aliens are selling weapons. Or just space aliens period, as a nation of pointy-eared magick-slingers hardly have room to judge weirdness.

The Imperial Intelligence Service also deploys covert assets to make more... unfettered... inquiries, if need be.

"Sir, did we give them plastic armor again?"

Xerys, Triumvirare Leader of UPEC, turns to a human worker and slaps him upside the head. "Of course not, you dolt! We just don't need to charge too much because we don't pay you apes to make them! And we mass produce like crazy. And we... err... cheat and steal resources from UPSC. But don't tell them that. Malys will gut you."

The Human blinks at the Mekantan, bowing. "Yes sir. I'll protect you from your sister."

"... Shut the hell up..."

It should be noted that we destroyed all of your Akuma units and we destroyed our station. We are angry with you as your faulty AI units turned on our soldiers after being warned to stay away or face the concequences. We stand by are reccomendation of caution when dealing with Mekanta AIs.

IC, Mekanta doesn't have any reason to attack you. Don't give them one. And it's Modern Tech. Of course these are the inferior ones.

"YOU WERE WARNED."

-Earth Orbit

The Grand Armada's Sol fleet, normally hanging motionless over Mekanta Zero, begins moving. Administrator Kuroi had just given authorization to attack, given that Celdrone had ignored thier warnings.

They had orders to fire only warning shots, to inform the nation of Celdrone that Mekanta meant buisiness...

OOC: Right now is not a good time to do this. I have a psycho in charge of my nation, for the past three real weeks he's been increasing my nations military. I have a teleportation shield, back ups of it. He also took my nation out of a nuclear arms pact that limited the number of nukes we can have. Also do you remember those missiles I had in the Red 9 post? Well they are about ten times more powerful. If you want to do something against my government, support Prince Thomas when he makes his bid to reclaim Celdrone.

Wow... Kinda gravedigging, but not too bad of gravedigging.

You're a bit late, though. Mekanta has ICly abandoned UPEC and gone pretty much full isolationist.

It's likely Neo-Mekanta will pick up where Mekanta left off, with original units, if you want to wait. ^_^

OOC...yeah, I know...been a long time. Xeraph actually bought 10,000 MAI-5's about 8 months ago, and now we are setting up a totally AI region/nation.
So, OK, we'll have to wait..........unless of course you can give credence to the rumor that there are hundreds of thousands of AI units that have just been discovered in abandoned warehouses in the desert areas of your nation...(wink, wink..)
