The Soviet Missile Development Ministry has begun construction on a new AAM.However due to the massive cost of developing such a missile we are looking for partners to help us.

The Federal Soviet Republic of Euro Switzerland would be interested in assisting in the development of this Air-to-Air missile, however would only be able to provide a minor amount of the funding due to our current economic status.

The ARSB would be interested in assisting in the development of a new air-to-air missile. However, before we assist, what type of missile do you have in mind? Will it be long, medium, or short ranged? And what guidance are you looking for?

We are looking for a Long-Range AAM and we're looking for Laser Guided.
OOC:Do you have AIM where we can discuss this?

We are very interested in this project, however it is necessary for us to know what type of missile it will be, as Soviet Bloc said. As the primary supplier of weapons and arms to the Agrigentian Armed Forces it may prove to be less than worthwhile to develop a certain type of missile, when one of sufficient quality already exists, therefore before we can make a decision, we wish to know what range of Air-to-Air missile you had in mind.

No - I have MSN and YIM, if you have either of those as well?

OOC- Downloading AIM as we speak.
Well, we do have experience in laser guided surface to air munitions, however air to air munitions is a much different idea... However, we inquire on the effectiveness of long-range laser guided air to air missiles. You would either have to use ground-based stations, satellite based stations, other aircraft, or have two or more laser turrets mounted on the aircraft (they would need their own power source and what-not). This would be an overly expensive system with some doubts as to its effectiveness beyond ten miles range.
I have some other possibilities for guidance but I'll talk to you about them in AIM... (as soon as it finishes).

The Missile Development department of Teitsmania's National Department of Defense is interested in this project, however would like more details and information pertaining to the project in question.
According to Dr. Max Klacksowsky, a senior department official with authority to fund new projects, a maximum of $200 million could be allotted to fund this program, assuming more information is provided.
