A group of Islamic Socialists known simply as the “Federated Directorate” made an attack on the Halladi capital of Erse today. Many Capitalism Now Party members are reported as having been killed by the militants. Despite many Soldiers and policemen in Erse most have joined the militants after they declared a Jihad on the corrupted minds of the nation's Capitalists.

Already the militants declared President Mustafa Fenris in exile. Although they do not have control of any part of the country besides Erse they have already demanded that the Republican Guard release True Directorate members from prison. It is unclear if this is meant to unite the two groups as most True Directorate members are White Catholics.

Federated Directorate leader Aban Naji has granted an interview:

Rabi Sabhi: “What is it you hope to accomplish with this ‘revolution’ of yours?”

Aban Naji: “We are merely carrying out Allah’s image for Hallad. We intend to stop this westernization which Fenris brought about. And, begin regulating the huge corporations which continue to set a fine line in between upper and lower class.”

RS: “Is the Federated Directorate planning to return democracy to Hallad?”

AN: “Eventually, yes. When Hallad is ready and its transformation complete we shall bring about elections. However, like the True Directorate once did, we shall have one party rule until stability is established.”

Unfortunately nothing more could be said. After those few questions a fire fight broke out between Federated Directorate supports and Capitalism Now supporters. However, later in the night Aban Naji released a statement regarding the Halladi-Hattian Conflict, saying: “If war comes between our nations than we shall fight the Hattians to the last man. Never shall we allow others to interfere with our own people’s affairs!”

In Erse the next day any Capitalists remaining had fled. Throughout the violence the night brought no foreigner had been hurt, however messages to foreign soldiers in Erse have been sent asked them to leave the city before any accidents occurred. Halladi’s throughout the country wait to see what will happen next in Erse.

The Rosian soldiers, grabbing onto their HK G36s, watched as the Revolutionaries marched through the Capital, they were amazed, another problem in Hallad, what would the Island of Rose do? The Ambassador rushed to his computer, typing out something to TIOR.

The Ambassador paniced. Damn He thought. We're just turning Capatilist, yet we have Socialist ideals, who should we support? Guess the guy who attacks us first...

Rosian soldiers outside the Embassy, stood guard, ready to beat off anyone who attempts to harm the Embassy, they were armed with special G36s, they fired tear gas and pepperballs. They stood at the ready...

It was about mid day when Fenris-Loyal men with in a few miles of the city limits recieved orders to advance. The numbered some 1,500 men against a much larger number. The Halladi High command, wanting to minimize any cassualties had not given to order to bombard the city. After all, they were fighting fellow Halladi's. Ten unmanned reconociances planes begna flying over the city two were immediatly shot down by a Vulture SAM Tank.

OOC: I'll be waiting for something to happen to the Embassy...

A platoon was sent to gather intelligence on the city. They went through the evacuated suburbs taking Six cassualties from unrelenting FD Guerillas. They came to the city itself. There was a check point gate. It had been abandoned. They moved up to it. From there, looking causiously at the skyscrappers on either side of them, they moved foward.

A guerilla with a M60 took aim at the platoon from his hidden bunker. He had all of the intruders in his sights. He looked to his ammo feeder.

"Anyone else with them?"

"No. Fire."

He did just that, taking the platoon unaware, and killing 14 of them with one sweep of his machine gun. The others tried to make a run for cover but were mowed down.

Around the Rosian embassy a few guerillas had taken up firing positions, but only because of the sight of the Rosian soldiers armed with guns.

An Officer, he was a 1st Liutenant, came out of the Embassy. He was carrying a Colt .45 in his right hand, and a radio on his left. The Guards around the Embassy raised their weapons, they were ready to fire, but they would fire pepperballs and not bullets.

On the roof, there were no pepperballs. There were Snipers, all armed with PSG-1s, their lasers occasionally scanned the ground, as to scare the guerillas. The Officer started speaking through his radio, his words were heard through a large speaker towards the freedom fighters.

"Stand down now, any shots fired will be returned, I repeat, any shots fired will be returned, stand down."

He was an Englishman, yet he was Rosian. He waited for a response.

The Prime Minister of Cathaynon received the request for assitance. after about 5 minutes of thinking he sent an immediate reply.

"Attention Leader, I am Prime Minister Luthor Huss of the Cathaynon goverment. If you need military assitance we shall have troops there within the next day. Respond As Soon As Possible.

With that he ran off into the main chamber of the capital and ordered for an immeninent military drill to prepare the troops for war.

"Get off our land!" One yelled looking through the scope of an AK-47. at the Rosian.

"Or Allah will strike you down through us!" Another added.

The Pro-Fenris Leader, Captain Saad, hadn't recieved word from his scouts. He had no choice but to move in blind. Nearly all of their recon planes had been shot down. The ones left intact had to be brought back.

A company of men (3 platoons in this case) went up the way the first platoon had come. They saw the bodies a head and stopped. Going around they were able to come on the bunker from behind. A grenade solved their problem. They advanced down various side-streets.

The Veganican government stands ready to mediate between the two warring sides, or aid in the peaceful transition of government if necessary. Veganica would also be willing to commit peace-keeping troops as part of a multinational effort.

2 helicopters of the Hattian Marine Corp sat on the deck of the Arrow. 30 Marines marshalled onto the deck. After being addressed by the officer, they loaded onto the helicopters. Once everyone was on, they lifted up and flew off towards Erse. After they cleared the edges of the fleet, they dropped down extremely low above the water and made their way at high speed towards the city...

The Officer spoke again.

"We don't want a fight, we will not interfere, just leave the Embassy alone."

The soldiers tightened their grip, they were ready to fire at a moment's notice, the Snipers now had orders to shoot anything strange.

The workers at the docks saw the helicopters coming before anyone. The site of them sent them running for their lives and screaming at the top of their lives. A few of the militants in the area fired off shots with their AK-47's, but they were to far away to effectivly do anything to the helicopters. The ran back to the entrechments. Giving them space to land at on fo the heliports the dock.

The helicopters began to hover. The Marines inflated and deployed their rafts and jumped into them, once they were in, one man in each of the rafts took a pole and attached a flag of truce to it. They then began to row towards the docks...

OOC: I remember having an embassy in Hallad. An old one from before we went to Jolt.

The Morathanian embassy was in a small square building next to the embassy of the Island of Rose. As violent socialist were standing around the gates to the embassy they poured over to the Morathanian embassy. They screamed and chanted. Inside the embassy the Morathanian embassador looked around trying to gather up whatever he could.
"Sir," said Lt. Coloneal Gavin Brooknell, head of embassy security, "we have a tense situation outside. These Islamic Socialists are demanding that we get off their land or they will fire. We have been trying to negotiate but so far we have been unsuccesful. The Island of Rose's embassy is also being threatened and Hallad is saying that they will not allow ships into their waters."
"We have to evacuate. What are we going to do," said Leonard Rorck, ambassador to Hallad.
"I have radioed Naval HQ and they said they say that they will send a frigate and two Revenge-class ASW Hydrofoils to try and get us out of here. Both carry Helocopters so we would be able to leave by air. They say they should be here in 8 hours."
"Well you have to hold them back for that long. How many military men do we have in the embassy?"
"About 110 men plus 2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles in the underground garage."
"Well we can only hope either our navy boys get here in time or the Halladis clear this mess up."
"We can only hope."
With that Lt. Col. Brooknell went up to the roof. He had 25 snipers on the roof trained at the crowd. Loud shouts of Get off our land and Free Hallad were being shouted at the embassy and the troops.
"My god I hope we can hold them off."

The fireworks display was absolutely breathtaking. The Shalrirorchian government had spared no expense to celebrate the union of the Arkady Islands and Morningstar. Former enemies, the Most Serene Republic of Shalrirorchia and the Theocracy of Arkady had united, though violence from the Islamic fundamentalist sepratists known as Crimson Jihad continued in the outlying islands. Still, the pro-democracy forces of Arkady, backed by the awesome might of Shalcoria, had suppressed the movement. The lands were as close to peace as they had ever been.

President Tarumigan Gistarai could not stop to enjoy his political triumph, however. He had a situation that had cropped up suddenly, as always seemed to be the case, to deal with.

"And the government is out of power, you say?" the President asked.

"Not only out of power, sir." George Beregovoy (Secretary of Defense) commented. "Many of them are out of life."

"I see." the President said, an angry tone to his voice.

"Sir..." the Department of Interior head interjected, "Many of the companies on the chopping block in Hallad are affiliates with major Shalrirorchian corporations, including the AEGIS corporation. They are understandably panicked."

Foreign Affairs chief Robert Sheridan interrupted next. "And sir, our embassy there is even more antsy. The ambassador believes it would be dangerous to remain, despite the fact that it is a fortified compound."

The President groaned and rubbed his eyes, swirling brandy in a glass on his desk. "Damn it, Bob. How come we get into these situations?"

The Foreign Secretary hesitated, but was saved from answering when the President held up his hand. "Sorry, rhetorical question. George, how much time do you need to put troops in to secure the embassy?"

Beregovoy didn't hesitate. "12 hours at most, Mister President. I can have a full detail of Marines inserted by helicopters to reinforce the security detachment currently holding the embassy."

"Do it." Gistarai snapped.


=Nellis Air Force Base, Shalrirorchian Territory=

Two heavy Shalrirorchian transport helicopters roared into the night with dozens of heavily-armed U.S. marines on board. They were the only Shalrirorchian helicopters with the range to reach all the way from this island base to Hallad...and on the return trip they'd need to land on an oncoming aircraft carrier, as they would have insufficient fuel to return directly to Nellis. The helicopters were also too large to land in the embassy courtyard, so the Marines would have to rappel down lines and into the compund directly. A little uncomfortable, to say the least..

The situation was tense, the soldiers gripped their guns even tighter, they were already planning the situation, figuring out what was going to happen in advance. Each sniper pointed their scope towards the guerillas, the Officer began to speak once again.

Shessaran forces within the city mobilized.

All 8,000 Knights, about 50% of them gene-tech, and supporting Shessaran forces (3,500,000, armed with M-249s, frag grenades, ceramic plate...), took a minute to declare martial law, then marched across the city, killing anyone armed before them, with orders to spare only the Rosian embassy.

APCs and counter-terrorist squads, 'borrowed' from the NRE forces on station, preceded them.

Captain Batik raised his nightvision lense to his eyes, zooming in on the crowd down the street of Embassy Row.

"I fear that the Hattian Embassy is in danger." Batik muttered.

The Shalrirorchian Ambassador, a steel-eyed woman named Joan Mercedes, held her own binoculars to her eyes and frowned. "Are those religious nutcases going to burn down every embassy on the Row?" she snarled.

Batik raised an eyebrow and glanced aside at the Ambassador. She was normally so diplomatic...it was unusual for her to describe ANYBODY as a nutcase. "Ma'am, my troops have secured this installation. But quite frankly, that mob out there has enough guns to kill everyone in here with lead poisoning unless we pull out or get reinforcements."

An angry electronic buzz entered his ear, and Batik cocked his head as he listened to the radio set taped to his helmet.

Mercedes turned. "What is it?"

"Reinforcements are inbound." Batik replied. "And one of my snipers has identified what he believes is a leader in that riot over there. We could terminate him."

Ambassador Mercedes blanched. "And create an internation incident?"

"Ma'am, THEY have already created the internation incident. Aside from which, once they finish with THAT embassy, they might well trundle over here and burn OURS down next." Batik snorted.

Mercedes considered this. Shalrirorchia was already moving to enact sanctions on the new radical Islamic regime as punishment for the revolt. Nevertheless, though Hattia was a friendly-enough nation, she hesitated to take that step.

"I cannot authorize you to fire on Hallad's citizens unless they pose an immediate danger to Shalrirorchia's citizens. Sorry Captain." Mercedes finally came back. "But keep the sniper watching, by all means."

troops will not leave the embassy but we are pulling out people who have no
right being their. Diplomats and secretaries can't do much to fight an angry
crowd and they just become innocent civilians killed. So we are pulling them
out. Military assests stay though.

The situation outside was growing worse. Embassy Row was awash in protestors. Men started to fire guns into the air. They said they would not back down until all foreigners were off Halladi soil. A spark would set the situation on fire.

=Aboard one of the Shalrirorchian reinforcement helicopters=

Lieutenant Markos eyed the Embassy as he began his approach. Behind him, the second helicopter followed, only more slowly.

Markos was fresh out of flight school, and had never been in a hostile environment. He therefore made several major tactical mistakes. As the C-15 transport helicopter (a relative of the Chinook used by the United States of America) roared over the city, it had its' bright white running lights on, including the lights illuminating the finely-painted Shalrirorchian flag on either side of the fuselage.

The other mistake was that the approach vector that Markos chose took the helicopter right over the rioting fighters at the other national embassy (OOC- I may have made a mistake, I thought it was the Hattian Embassy but it might be the Morathania one).

In fact, the huge helicopters were an impressive sight, a testament to the strength of the United States of Shalrirorchia. As the U.S. helicopters flew over the city, the rotors whipped debris and dust on the ground into a frenzy.

Markos flipped the broadcast radio on, and signalled in the clear (another error, as it let anyone tuned in to the right frequency overhear). "Embassy Security Detail, this is Unity-One-Niner. Clear the LZ."

"Roger that, Unity-One-Niner. This is Captain Johannes Batik, head of Embassy Security. You are cleared for final approach. Make it snappy."

Captain Jacob Calamon had to yell over the din of the helicopter's flight noises at his men. Shalrirorchian army officers were easily recognized...unlike the coalscuttle helmets the grunts wore, officers often wore red berets in addition to their standard rank insignia.

"ALL RIGHT! LISTEN UP!" yelled Calamon, steadying himself on the webbing strung along the inside of the chopper for this purpose. The hold was filled with the sounds of kevlar armor being put on, clips being slammed into M-16 battle rifles and Fabrique Five-Seven pistols, and general conversation. "We are to secure the Shalrirorchian Embassy here. You guys have been studying the plans since you got on."

Each soldier's name was stenciled on the front of his helmet. A young one with the name "Mallory" stepped forward. "Sir? Are we expecting a fight?"

Calamon slapped a hand on the soldier's shoulder. "We don't expect anything, son, but we ANTICIPATE everything." he barked. The soldiers all brayed with laughter.

"PREPARE FOR DEPLOYMENT!" Calamon yelled as he felt the helicopter slow down.

Shessaran M-1s spat fire at all rioters who stood in their way, as well as rifles, grenade launchers, rockets.

OOC: Well number one embassies never have more than 200 armed forces personnel stationed inside. So that would give you 200 at most to start at. Then you say you brought in reinforcements in two Chinook helocopters. Chinooks can hold a maximum of 45 men with gear. So that would give you no more than 300 men against an armed mob that is at least 5,000 strong. If you start firing at them than your embassy is as good as dead.

The Shessarans had struck hard. Over 300 Civilians had been mowed down and another 100 or so were injured. About 100 Guerilla's had been killed. Now, however, traitor Regulars now engaged the enemy. There were about 60,000 of them spread throughout the city, all using Guerilla tactics.

As Shessaran APC's came down the roadsthe well armed men made use of their RPG-7's and M40 Underbarrel grenade launchers.

In addition to that about 100,000 policemen, almost as well armed as regulars, took up their own AK-74's against the Shessarans.

The Halladi pro-Fenris forces didn't stand a chance they were slaughtered, and Federated Directorate taking only sixteen cassualties.

"Comrades!" A new voice called out to the Rosians. "Go back onto your embassy's plot of land you will not be hurt. If you refuse to do this again you will be attacked."

"We are in our plot of land, we're just near the gate. What the hell is going on here?! Who are you?! Agh!"

The Snipers turned off their sights, now looking for the man who spoke to them, they were confused. All they knew that there was a riot in the Capital...

OOC: So what are ya planning Hallad? I know you're commie, you're hoping for another chance are ya?

At the Yr Widdfa Embassy (constructed only a month before) the 150 marines quickly caught up their M-4 assult rifles. On the roof a group of 5 snipers took up a position, with orders not to fire unless to protect civilians or themselves.

NEW DUBLIN, HALLAD:
A flight of five AC-86 Furies that had been awaiting Lt. Bedwyr's return from the peace conference took off an swept accross the dessert on their way to Erse. A message was wired to the Halladi government annoucing their movement lest their intentions be mistaken.

I thought you meant he came off the Embassy grounds. Where as you meant the building itself.

The Helocopters were on their way they were half way to the embassy. The Frigate and two Hydrofoils had arrived earlier that day and had immediately launched all their helocopters. Their were 5 helocopters in the flights. 2 Sea Sprites from the Hydrofoils and 3 Sea Hawks from the Frigate. They were going as fast as they could toward the embassy.

At the embassy the rioters were becoming more vicious as their compatriots were mowed down in front of the Shalrirorchia embassy. Lt. Col. Gavin Brooknell looked at the storm of rioters in front of the embassy. He was waiting for a fight. The two Bradley Fighting Vehicles were taken out of the Garage and taken into the front of the building. He was waiting.
"Sir," said a young private.
"Yes, what is it?"
"ETA on the choppers is 45 minutes, sir."
"Thank you."
From the roof Lt. Col. Brooknell could see the entire street even when the Shalrirorchian fired that didn't disperse the crowd. The Rosians still tried to calm the crowd down. Gavin knew better. All of a sudden an Ak-47 went off.
Shouts of "Enemy Fire, Enemy Fire," were heared from the Morathanian troops.
"Return fire," screamed the Lt. Col. through a megaphone.
"Snipers fire at will."
A hail of fire came from the crowd. The Morathanians return fire. The Bradley Fighting Vehicles began firing their machine guns and chain guns at the crowds outside the gate. Two machine guns on the roof began to fire. It was hell on earth. Gavin ran into the embassy. He found the ambassor.
"Ambassador."
"I've heard. They've began firing on us."
"Yes they have sir. We should be able keep them at..." All of a sudden an explosion rocked the building.
Shouts of "RPG" came through the building.
"Holy shit, they've got RPGs," said the Lt. Col.
Gavin ran outside. Their were craters in the streets. TOW missles had been fired at the crowd. Machine guns threw bullets into the air. The Bradleys continued to fire.
"Sir! Were holding them back. They've got RPGs too! Their firing on the building! Were focusing fire on that three story office building across the way! Thats were the explosion was!"
"Thank you Sgt. O Connor!"
"No problem sir!"
Missiles shot into the crowd. Bullets fired. 150 and against thousands.
"Were going to have our hands full," said Gavin softly, "COME ON MEN WE HAVE TO HOLD THIS PLACE FOR AT LEAST FORTY MINUTES! YOU ASSHOLES CAN DO THAT RIGHT!"
"YES SIR!!"

The Officer dropped down, the Soldiers, fired off a few shots into the air. The Snipers shot the ground, but they don't know what they shot.

"Damn rookies! They returned fire! Get into the building!"

The Soldiers rushed inside, the gates were closed but close to collapse, they needed to control the riot, fast.

All of a sudden, the Soldiers from the ground popped out from the windows, they were holding pepperball launchers. The began fire, tear gas was randomly thrown into the crowd also. They had orders not to shoot at all costs, the situation was delicate.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador sent out a message to the Morathanians.

We need help now, get the choppers in here, now! Get the civs
out!

Shay O'Donnal, Yr Widdfa's foreign minister was at the Embassy overseeing everything until an ambassador could be chosen and arrive. The marine colonel ran up to him as he left the embassy building.
"Minister, I must insist that you return to your quarters, it's gettin' rather sporting out here..." he said. O'Donnal ignored him and walked to the gate and looked down the street, fire engulfed one of the embassies down there, he could tell which one, but there were a lot of people shooting.
"God, save us..." he whispered, then allowed himself to be led back inside.

Rioters ran for their lives at the Morathanian Embassy. They had to leave that challenge to their better-armed Comrades of the Red Army. A few minutes passed. A few men had returned only to be killed. There was a low rumble eminating near the embassy. A T-90 made it's way down the street with five guerilla's on it. One manning the machine gun, the others just hitching a ride as it were. Behind them was a infantry squad of ten men armed with one RPG-7 in addition to their M41A1 Pulse Rifles.

The tank's turret turned to face the Embassy and fired a shot off. Small arms fire recommensed.

OOC: That was the Morathanian ambassador.

IC: The helocopter will be here shortly. ETA in 30 minutes. We will pick
up any Rosians that are waiting for us.

OOC: So Hallad, RP your guys getting pepperballed...

"T-90!!"
A loud shot was heard and than a loud explosion the round was far to the right of the main embassy building but did clip a secondary embassy building that was vacant at the time.
The two Bradley Fighting Vehicles fired their TOW missiles at the T-90.
"Shit this is getting even worse," said Lt. Col. Gavin Brooknell.
ETA of helocopters 27 minutes.

O'Donnal wired a message back to Grand Duke Gwalcavad, reporting on the situation. Someone knocked then entered his office, it was the Marine Colonel, Rhys Boyd. He saluted.
"Well?" asked O'Donnal
"The rebels have pulled back from down the street, but a group of regulars have moved in, this looks like all out civil war, sir. They have armored vehicles, they're firing again."
"Bedwyr's helicopters?"
"Several hours at least sir, maybe not until tomorrow morning. They'll have to refule several times in order to make it this far."
O'Donnal sighed, "Alright, keep me posted and try not to get into a firefight. We'll evac if we must, but I want to stay if at all possible."

At the Rosian Embassy one man had been injured by pepper balls. The others were fine and returning fire with live ammunition, as they were in various areas of cover.

OOC: Umm do our people at the Peace Conference aware of all this? Cause I'd think it would have some baring on their actions... Not that it affects me much since outside of the Embassy and those choppers I've only got three men in the coutry.

OOC: Stingers are Anti-air missiles. Their were actually 4 TOW missiles shot from two Bradleys but okay.

IC: The Stingers went up into the air and landed as a dud 25 miles away.
"These men have no information. Stingers are anti-air weapons. Thank god their not better trained."
TOW missiles were launched again. 4 missiles streaked at point blank range toward the T-90.

OOC: Their is a very low chance that these would miss.

Nope. Their oblivious to the fact that this is occuring. For now.

OOC: People use Stingers against tanks all the time - example: Iraq.
What I don't get is how a guy aimed a missile launcher at your tank and some how the missile completely changed it's tragectory 90 degrees...

A soldier was hit in the shoulder, getting knocked down. A medic rushed to him and started treating his wounds. The Officer got pissed...

"Hm oh hell no! Get the M2s out!"

The soldiers retreated back into the embassy, two minutes later, large 50 Caliber machine gun appeared from every window in front of the rioters. They began to fire into the crowd... with pepperballs. They still would not fire at Halladi citizens. Agh, this was fustrating...

The Ambassador sent out an urgent communique to the Government.

Meanwhile an RCH-1 took off from the roof, Rosktai forces were firing tear gas, pepperballs, anything that will make them stop rioting. They were respecting the citizens... even thought their life was in danger...

Stingers automatically go to a near 90 degree trajectory after they are fired like all other anti-air missiles.

So basically your saying that when a bradley gets blown up in Afghanistan or Iraq by a stinger, as is often the case, the insurgents are aiming at their feet?

OOC: Stingers aren't used against ground targets. What are mostly used by insurgents inthe Surface to Surface role is the RPG. Stingers are used to take down aircraft. Everytime you hear of a plane or helocopter going down in Iraq it is because of a Stinger. The Stinger is not an anti-tank weapon. Check for yourself. All military websites say nothing about a surface-to-surface capability for the Stinger. I have done Google searchs since you said the Stinger thing and I cannot find one use of the Stinger as an anti-tank or Surface-to-Surface missile.

The TOW missile is actually an anti-tank weapon.

You could use it as an At weapon, but it wouldn't be all that effective. For one thing guiding it would be interesting, unless the engine was very hot-running, and for another, the warhead's nowhere near large enough to kill a tank.

IC: The RPG screemed past the Bradley missing it hitting a tree in the courtyard. Then the drone of Helocopter engines was heard. 2 Sea Hawks landed on the roof. The ambassador and 25 others got on the first helocopter. 25 more on the second. A Sea Sprite also landed. 3 men got on and the three helocopters flew away toward the sea. One Sea Sprite and One Sea Hawk went to the Rosian embassy.

OOC: Pepperballs don't need to hit the guy they just need to hit the ground and spread the gas. That incapacitates people.

The Rosian soldier lessened the rate of fire, now the Embassy was at peace... for now. The Morathanian Helicopter hasn't arrived yet. The RCH-1 still hovered over the street, firing pepperballs occasionally to armed rioters. The Ambassador sighed, it was over for now, he was still waiting for his answer though...

The 2 Morathanian helocopters landed on top of the Rosian Embassy. They waited for the civilians to come up to the roof.

the Revolutionaries allowed the Hattians to near the city. A single Red Army officer came out.

"Hattians! What is you buisiness here?!" Asked the man impatiently thruogh a megaphone.

The commanding Commisar stood up from his rowing and shouted back, "We are here to help, we came to make sure that you wouldn't shoot at us if we sent troops in. If you guy's don't want help, just say so!"

The 2 Morathanian helocopters landed on top of the Rosian Embassy. They waited for the civilians to come up to the roof.

The 100 Rosian Citizens rushed to the roof, they boarded the Helicopters, some men, around ten, stayed behind of course. They wanted to defend the Embassy. Adolf rushed to the roof also, he was carrying a pepperball gun in his right hand.

"Take the people to the Island of Rose! It's south-east of Hallad! Hurry! I'll stay here and help the soldiers!"

I'm taking them back to Morathanian ships off the coast. They will be taken back to Island of Rose via boat. Get them loaded quickly.

The TOW's hit. All of them. The munitions exploded and the squad of men were killed along with the tank crew.

"Well. You can work with the regulars. But, well, you're probally going to want to put Halladi uniforms on." He sighed. "The FD doesn't really like foreigners."

The four Morathanian helocopters carrying the Morathanian embassy staff were already out of the city.
"How long until we are on the ships?" said the Ambassador.
"About 30 minutes Mr. Ambassador."
"Good, thank god I'm getting out of this hellhole."

I'm taking them back to Morathanian ships off the coast. They will be taken back to Island of Rose via boat. Get them loaded quickly.

The men looked over at Adolf. One said. "We'll stay and help!" Adolf sighed, shaking his head. "No, your wives will miss you. Go! GO!"

The 10 last men boarded the Helicopters, the civilians sighed, Hallad was such a nice nation... well... at least they were the last Rosian civilians out of there. Now they would leave in peace... I hope.

"Hurry! Take them out!"

Adolf rushed down the stairs, joining one of the soldiers at the windows, he started firing off his pepperball gun.

OOC: Hattia, I wanna talk to a rep of your nation in my Embassy. And is your men working for the Government or the Rebels, I'm confuzzled now.

A small transport helicopter took off of the deck of the HSN Longshot. Onboard was Diplomatic Commisar Borodin, who at the request of the Rosians left his weapons onboard the ship. The view of the room was... strange to say the least, well... not so strange for a riot anyway. The room was filled with soldiers firing down pepperballs at the ground, they wanted to contain the riot and scare them away. Not everything is solved through violence. There were some men on the floor, moaning. They were not dieing, but they were hurt. There were medics everywhere, helping the injured.

The Ambassador appeared, he was of German decent obviously. Brown hair, blue eyes. Middle aged. He was holding an AK-47 on safety on his right hand. He scanned the diplomat and then began to speak.

"Look, I know you are supporting the Revolutionaries, but let's get some ground rules here. No harming the Rosian Embassy, Rosian soldiers will arrive soon as peacekeepers aka we will not take sides. I want to ensure you will help us, or at least stay out of the way. I don't want things to get or FUBAR than they are already. I also want to know what you're planning."

We will do what we can to help, if you wish for more help defending your embassy we will be glad to send soldiers, and of course any Rosians will be given protection and allowed to pass lines unhindered. After all, you are our allies. "I am surprised Hallad has not stayed an Anarchy. I swear, this is insane. The rioting in my sector has quieted down, but the rest are using insane tactics."

He took a deep breath, than exhaled.

"Allow me to explain. There are reports of Shessharans killing anything that moves, Morathanian forces fired into a crowd. Sure they were attacked, but they should've regrouped and peppered them. Bah, violence, they think it cures everything. They don't even look at the other options..."

He sighed.

"What's your opinion?"

The Hattian people may be warriors by nature, but even we wouldn't use their tactics. We would've probably done what you guys have done here had we an embassy in Hallad.

We don't much like modern war, too many innocent people are hurt. If we had our way, people would go back to using swords and such. It's much safer to civilians."

Boyd again stepped into O'Donnal's office, "It's getting ugly out there. I think they aren't sure who exactly we are.." he chuckled, "We've only been here a little while so they haven't had time to make up their mind about us. They're just rioting in the streets, but not shooting at us... yet. The men have orders to hold fire if at all possible. We just might weather this. The Furies will be here in a couple hours. You at least ought to get out of here."
O'Donnal shook his head, "No.. we will not show weakness. I'm staying."
Boyd nodded. "Well, firings stopped down the street, maybe they'll quiet down for the night."
In the yard it was quiet, on the street it was chaos, the marines watched grimly but didn't interfere.

The commander in charge of the Op, a Colonel John Angeles, shouted over the roar of the crowd and the helicopters. He pushed his way past Shalrirorchian soldiers and up to the high concrete wall that surrounded the Shalcoria's embassy here.

The crowd was a sea in the street. Angeles used his binoculars to observe to the situation...and swore when he saw the T-90 tank firing on another embassy.

"Fritz, inform Command that the Regular Army is helping those rioters." Angeles commented to a subordinate, then picked up a megaphone to address the crowd in front of HIS embassy.

"I AM COLONEL ANGELES. YOU ARE VIOLATING SHALRIRORCHIAN SOVEREIGNTY. GO BACK TO YOUR HOMES IMMEDIATELY. USE OF DEADLY FORCE AGAINST YOU IS AUTHORIZED." the Colonel yelled, then fired an entire clip from his sidearm into the air to punctuate that statement.

The Shalrirorchians were busy setting up defenses in the embassy proper. Claymore mines were being deployed in the courtyard, and defensive barriers being hastily assembled for soldiers to hide behind and pop up to shoot. The Shalrirorchians had every intention of holding that courtyard if the rioters broke in...it was their only EXIT from this place, and all the rioters had to come through the gate. Fire could be concentrated on that area.

1. Begin 24\7 CAP ops over Halladi coast. Prevent foreign support reaching rebels at all costs. You are weapons free.
2. Begin 24\7 E-8 recce missions over Erse. Keep track of possible rebel positions. Rebels believed to have access to armour, SAMs. Recomend E-Centaurs be used to minimise risk. You are weapons free.
3. Prep Centaurs for CAS ops with non-explosive ordanance. Do not begin ops until ordered, or unless SFC Hallad is under attack.


Within eight hours of the above orders being recieved, it was being implemented. An E-3 Sentry escorted by 16 Demeter-class fighters had taken up position a few kilometres off the Halladi coastline. This also meant the Demeters could easily provide assistance to the E-8 orbiting over Erse with its two E-Centaur electronic warfare escorts should the rebels gain access to aircraft.

The CRS Rotunda, a Nimitz Class Carrier approached Halladi coastlines. The mission? Riot control. They would drop men into the riots, pepperballing them like hell. They would destroy any armor, Capatilist or Socialist. 3 RCP-1s took off towards Hallad. They would parachute out, they being the Rosktai. After that, they would set up medical facilities and the like, they'd arrive in an hour....

"Peacekeeping forces should arrive by now. They'll set up medical facilities to heal forces of all sides. There has to be a middleman in this conflict. And do not worry, we will not fire on you, unless they fire on us..."

OOC: And RCP-1 is a C-17, and yes I can get there that fast, my Island is close to Hallad. Very close.

Off the coast Rosian planes were spotted overhead by a small carrier group. An immediate communique was sent to the planes.

"Unidentified aircraft. You are not authorized by the Halladi government to enter the vacinity of Erse. It is a no-fly-zone for unauthorised planes."

A voice boomed throughout the city. The words were in Arabic. All of the firing ceased. In addition to that nobody was outside. The city was praying. It would only last a few minutes, but it could be the few minutes that saved people's lives.

The rest, who were Roman Catholics, began to say their prayers, it was a short moment of peace, but it wouldn't last long of course....

"Please, we are bringing in peacekeeping soldiers to Hallad, we want to help stabalize the situation, we are not trying to incite Revolution. But if you want us to leave, we'll leave, please respond."

The soldiers inside were nervous, they gripped their HK G36s tightly, hoping they wouldn't get shot down...

"Please circle around. We will need to talk with the High Command before instructing you." The Radio man said to the Rosians.

The C-17 leaders growled to himself, though this wasn't heard on the radio, and when he did talk through the radio, he said. "Fine fine, doing so now." The C-17s got into a line, they now began to circle the City from high altitude, waiting for permission to drop peacekeepers...

A Rosian Humvee rushed towards the Morathanians. There was a gunner manning the .50 Caliber, but there were only two soldiers inside, a Sergeant and a Private First Class. On the back was special equipment, the Sergeant and PFC stepped out, both holding pepperguns. The Sergeant started speaking.

"You guys need riot control gear, we brought you pepperguns, tear gas, SWAT shields and things. If you want more, stop by the Embassy, we have a year's worth."

The PFC went to the trunk, inside was more pepperball equipment, as well as other random riot gear. Same thing in the back, there was random pepperball gear inside. The PFC started to speak.

"Sirs, you're going to need this. The Shessharans are killing everything, and you wouldn't want to be associated with them hm?"

"Thank you but we do have riot gear of our own. The rioters shot first. We had to respond they had killed 2 of my men before we even started firing. A second Humvee appeared, it was also manned by a gunner, but it was empty, just a driver. The Sergeant, PFC, and the Gunner entered. The St. gave a military salute and told the driver to drive... towards the Embassy, now the Morathanians had an empty Humvee at their disposal, nice.

HNS Longshot

The Carrier's deck was crowded with aircraft trying to take off. Mig-35Ks, HASF-5Ks and various types of helicopters, some loaded with troops and some were attack helicopters. The aircraft joined up with their squadrons and streaked very low over the water towards Erse. Fighters began to either form a cloud over the fleet or flew over Erse, making sure no enemy aircraft entered the area. Attack helicopters would begin searching for enemy targets within and around the city while transports would unload their cargo near the docks...

One helicopter carrying the Colonel Anitov of the Marine Corp flew with 2 attack helicopters escorting it towards the docks.

The leader chuckled. "We'll parachute them."

The C-17s flew over the Rosian Embassy, all 75 soldiers parachuted down towards the Embassy's roof, along with supplies and the like. The Embassy now could hold, without too much trouble anyway. Ah, and the underground garage had enough armor to help with that too.

The soldiers rushed down the stairs, picking up any pepperguns that were in the basement, others dropped off the supplies. The went to the windows, firing at random rioters, but it was generally quiet. The C-17s then drifted out of Hallad, head back towards the CRS Rotunda...

The firing had yet to begin at the embassy. 200 miles off Hallad, though, a Wasp class Helocopter Carrier had arrived. It had onboard Blackhawks, Apaches, and Longbows. They were here to help the embassy guards. Back at the embassy Gavin Brooknell watched at the street. He got a megaphone.
"We don't want to continue to fight. All we want is for our embassy to be safe. Nothing more. We do not want to give up this embassy but we also do not want to fight you," Thats Bullshit I'd love to kill everyone of them thought Gavin. He went on, "Please my nation has never done anything to you. All were trying to do is to help my nation and yours open up to the world." This is my only attempt at diplomacy if they want to take it fine if they don't well then screw 'em, thought Gavin.

The guerillas and conscripts moved away from the Embassies. There was more important areas to attend to.

5,000 Regulars and 10,000 Conscripts woul leve the city to take the surrounding area. More importantly they need to destroy the Division Republican Guardsmen in the area around Erse. In doing that they would take away the government's power to use Cruise Missiles against the Hattian fleet. And to give their allies a way to land more efficiently.

Off the coast a small naval group had defected to the Federated Directorate. A message detailing this was relayed to the Hattian fleet so they could send fighters over Erse.

The AWACS look down radar easily detected the huge numbers of Hattian aircraft while they were still almost 300km away. A message was fired off to SFC Hallad, requesting that additional Demeters be scrambled to provide assistance. The request was quickly OK'd and soon an additional 16 Demeters were airbourne and heading towards the coast to provide assistance if it were needed.
The Senior Controller aboard the AWACS opened a radio channel, "Unidentified aircraft, this is a Shildonian . You do not appear to have clearance to enter Halladi airspace. Please state your identity and ascend to 12200 metres and hold your position while we find out whether you have permission to enter Halladi airspace. Over." He then opened up a channel to the Halladi air defence HQ to inform them of the situation.

Meanwhile, the E-8 over Erse had it's own problems to report. "Home Plate, this is Archelon. It appears the rebels are breaking out of Erse in Division strength. Repeat rebel forces appear to be breaking out of Erse. Over."
This messsage was quickly forwarded to the Shildonian Ministry of Defence and the Halladi government. The message to the Halladi government also contained a request for permission to begin launching airstrikes against the rebel forces.

The FD troops moved out. Almost immediatly they were harrassed by artillery from the Republican Guard, but cassualties remainded minimal. 56 men died on the first day.

They knew that the Shildonians would attack without warning and had no intention of being destroyed by a suprise attack. As soon as the squadrons entered the range of the Shildonians they went onto the attack, firing off their missiles and closing quickly.

Meanwhile, the Carrier HNS Victory began launching it's complement of fighters towards Erse and the entire fleet began moving closer to Erse, the way cleared thanks to the defecting Halladi fleet.

Colonel Anatov stepped out of the helicopter and onto the docks. He waved his hand, motioning for everyone to get out. "Haso, Haso, Haso!" he shouted in Hatti. Once everyone was out, he shouted, "I need to talk to whomever is in charge."

The Officer grabbed the Commissar by the wrist.

They went passed a few Vulture Mobile SAM tanks. Then some BTR-80's. A few pillboxes. Every street they went down it was more and more heavily armed. Halladi Desert Raider MBT's, Black Eagles, then a row of M1064A3 Self-propelled 120mm Mortas and Avenger Pedestal Mounted Stingers. Eventually they came up to a M4Command and Control Vehicle parked next to a building labeled City Armoury.

"In there." He pulled him to the door. There was a machine gun next to the doors left and the M4 parked on the right of it, with the crew busy inside. Two more men were at the door. They allowed them to pass.

He showed him through the armoury to stairs that led down to a door.

"There's a long corridor beind it that leads to a bunker. The password for it is 'Abdul-Azim'." The Officer wispered.

Anatov walked down the corridor. He arrived at the door and knocked. "Abdul-Azim." he said...

The dorr open fast. Several AK-74 and M41A1 Pulse Rifle barrels pointed out.

"A Hattian." One in uniform said.

They all reached out and grabbed him at the same time. Then pulled him him into the room.The door slammed shut. Then it was locked.

He was thrown into a chair. And a pistol, a H&K Expert, was pointed at his face.

"His accent. I believe it's authentic, but the markings and uniform could be faked. He whispered.

"I agree Comrade. Perhaps. Well, ask him about his weapons. The Officer whispered back. They parted. The other man only nodding.

"Do you have any weapons on you?"

"I've got my pistol in my waist holster, and my sword there hanging from my waist, I left my rifle with one of my men. Nothing else..."

The man with the pistol reached for the Hattian's pistol slowly. He took took it out of the holster.

"A HAS-45." the Officer said.

"Could be a cheap knock off." The man with the pistol responded. "Your papers or your dog tags, or any idetification. Do you have it on you?"

Anatova moved his hand slowly to his chest and pulled out his dog tag. Realizing that they probably couldn't read Hatti, he flipped it over, showing the English side...

"It's not a cheap knock off, thank you very much. Admiral Aleksandrov gave it to me for fending off a bunch of Allaneans and saving his life a while back..."

The Army officer took a look at the dogtags. He stepped back, the man with the pistol looked over at him and he noded. He looked to the other man he couciled before. He noded.

Well the Mig-35 can't do carrier ops, so they're not really a threat. You neglect to say what types of missile are being used, so I shall be kind and assume you're using the AA-12. It has a range of 50km, whereas my Cobra's have a range of 140km. This gives me the ability to shoot well before you can. Each Demeter carries eight Cobra's, and there are sixteen Demeters. You've probably got a maximum of 80 aircraft, though some of them will be your scary Mig-35s with their smashed up undercarriages and tails that have been torn off due to the forces of landing on a carrier. They don't count for obvious reasons, that reason being they can't take-off due to the aforementioned structural damages.
Let's just say I fire two Cobra's at each of your F-5's. Bear in mind that in order to manouver they'll need to climb to a higher altitude, and in doing so will lose a bit of airspeed making them easier to hit.
Oh yes, I would appreciate it if you didn't just godmod your way to victory by magically flying your helicopters past my fighters, which is what you appear to have done.

OOC: Well number one embassies never have more than 200 armed forces personnel stationed inside. So that would give you 200 at most to start at. Then you say you brought in reinforcements in two Chinook helocopters. Chinooks can hold a maximum of 45 men with gear. So that would give you no more than 300 men against an armed mob that is at least 5,000 strong. If you start firing at them than your embassy is as good as dead.

You had a finite number of surface to air missiles. I calculated the maximum number you could have. I then fired a large number of decoy missiles at your carrier group. If I recall the number of decoys was 75% of the maximum number of SAMs your carrier group could carry. Note that I said maximum number. Your ships would also have been carrying surface to surface missiles, anti-ship missiles, and maybe anti-submarine rockets. Everyone of those carried is one less SAM that can be carried.
So I fire enough decoys at you to remove your air defence ability. You then some how magically either know that the decoys are decoys, and so don't fire on them, or you magically acquire some new SAMs in the five minutes or so between the decoy attack and the actual attack. You didn't give any reason for knowing the decoys were decoys, and even though your sailors may have been briefed that standard Shildonian practise is to fire decoys first, how did they know that that was the case? For all they knew that first wave of missiles was anti-ship missiles.
I calculated the number of missiles that would be needed to first strip away your SAMs, and then the number of missiles that would be needed to sink every ship present. If I recall, each ship had about three missiles fired at it. Yet you claimed they were able to outmanouver the missiles. Ships cannot outmanouver missiles flying at thrice the speed of sound, certainly not consistently enough to dodge three missiles.
Facts are important. If we're just going to ignore facts then I will have my troops fly into battle atop flying elephants, which breathe fire, and can fly into space, and have magic powers.

"Mo chroi." muttered O'Donnal, "This will make it only worse, they'll get angrier and it will only result in more deaths. Oh, and I don't care in the least about this Shessaran declared state of emergency, they set foot on our embassy, and they're under our command or they leave. We stay on the grounds, but do not allow anyone through unless they can prove they're a Yr Widdfa citizen." Boyd nodded and left.
PEACE CONFERENCE:
Bedwyr stared after the Shessarans, knowing what this would mean. He turned to Fenris, "Yr Widdfa is with you, sir. I can have a division in the country within the week and more as soon as they can be activated."

The airstrikes against rebel positions are launched shortly before dawn. First, a pair of E-Centaurs fire off ten HARM anti-radiation missiles from stand-off range to supress enemy air defences before climbing to into a high orbit above the battlefield, where they activate their ECM pods to jam any surviving enemy radar and communications.
The second wave consists of six Centaurs, each carrying twenty 500lb laser guided bombs. They fly as high as possible without entering the clouds. The bombardiers aboard each aircraft will guide the bombs using built in thermal imaging cameras to locate the armour and artillery, and then pointing the targetting laser at them.
In order to avoid friendly fire, they will only attack targets more than 5km away from the Republican Guard positions. Air cover for the raid will be provided by four Demeters, with a pair of F-52's also airbourne to provide additional support if need be.

Despite heavy cassualties the rebels launched another offensive as a supply line was now established. They attacked Naval base 141 on the coast. The 400 Guards were easily subdued. 53 men even joied the Rebel cause. Two Akula-II Submarines were captured along with a Udaloy-II DGN. The two Akula crews deserted the Loyalists and 3/4 of the Udaloy-II's crew deserted.

209 rebels were killed.

Deheudoedd forces ceased the internal shelling of Erse, and proceeded to lay down military law in the sectors they controlled, with armed patrols, perimeter checkpoints, and all other trappings of a city occupied.

A screen of airplanes, a hodgepodge of modern craft owned and operated by Shessaran soldiers, was kept constantly in the air, looking for and responding to bombing threats.

20 B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers set off on a mission. They flew to high for Flak or SAM's. They bombed the thickest part of the Shessaran entrenchments. Their escorts included 24 Yak-141 "Freestyle" and 24 MiG-35's

100 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles were authorized to be fired. They're targets were Shessaran Anti-Air defense in and around Erse. With half an hour they had all been fired off.

The thousand or so fighters weaving in and around Erse's spires split up, about three hundred mixed F-22s, MiGs, F-15s, and A-10s took off after the bombers, firing missiles, cannons, anything to score a hit.

The others targeted missiles in a hail of weaponry. While fire and debris rained down on Erse, only seventeen missiles made it through the hails of fire and struck batteries and missile silos.

700 Shessaran ground forces were killed.

Captain Abdel looked through his binoculars at the unsuspecting Shessarans. They had justed entered the canyon on the root to their army, trying to bring supplies to their comrades.

All the heavy weapons men, were armed with RPG-7's for this mission. The others had plentiful ammounts of M40 grenades. In addition to that they had a squadron of Ka-50 Werewolf attack helicopters aiding them.

The Helicopters pulled over head. Tipping doward to face the supply trucks. The twelve helicopters fired a barage of missiles (5 each). Then opened fire with miniguns.

The platoons opened fire. Firing Their supply of M40 grenades off from the under barrel launchers on the Pulse Rifles. The six men with the RPG's concentrated on the Trucks.

On the Shessara boarder the 75,000 men got into their positions intercepting any supply caravans. They had the full support of the southern Air force.

About two hundred loaded APCs shot ahead of the main body of infantry, forming a squadron around the fleeing cargo trucks and laying down a heavy cover of flak with their mounted miniguns.

"The Shessaran's are calling for all foreign embassies to meet them at the Palace."
"Not on your life!" replied O'Donnal, "We don't even recognize their right to declare martial law here. I will not lend creedence to their impudence by meeting them."

Grand Duke Gwalcavad's cabinet met to discuss the reports received from Shay O'Donnal and Lt. Bedwyr. After hours, Gwalcavad sighed.
"I do not wish for war, but we have sworn alliance to the New Roman Empire and specifically to Hallad. We cannot abandon our allies at a moment like this. Duncan, what kind of troops can you put into the area?"
War Minister MacConnal layed a stack of papers outlineing troop positions around the nation on the table. "The 156th Division has been on alert since the early days of the Halladi-Hattian conflict. We held them back due to the peace conference but we can have them in Hallad in a week. The Hawk Carrier Group can put to sea in a few days and arrive not long after the infantry, whom we can airlift as soon as we gather the transport aircraft. The rest of the 2nd Corps and the 6th Corps could be called up in a week and be in Hallad in no more than another week. More will take longer but that puts sixty thousand in the country in less than two weeks. The Hawk Group has a total of twenty thousand Marines as well as two thousand Special Forces Operators. If we call up the reserves we can send the mainline troops to Hallad. We could possiblly have five corps in Hallad in three to four weeks."
Gwalcavad nodded, "Do it. Also, I want a field promotion for this Bedwyr, put him in charge of a regiment. He's earned it. With Minister O'Donnal in Hallad I'm putting his aide, Ewan Connoly into his place as emessary to the ACS and the NRE. I want any forces the Allied Celtic States are willing to send. Dismissed, God go with you."

AT THE PEACE CONFERENCE:
Bedwyr found Fenris later, "Sir, I need to know where you want our army to base at. The Duke is sending 2 Corps initially, though the advanced division will arrive within the week, and 3 more corps will follow, so we'll need somewhere to set up an extensive base of operations and somewhere that can support significant communications."

The Ambassador looked at the letter for the Invitation. He smirked.

"Bastards... send a Rosktai force to infiltrate the meeting... we'll hold them up..."

An RCH-1 containing 10 soldiers left the Embassy, it flew over to the nearest sewer... which was across the street. The sewer was open, then, all 10 soldiers repelled down the sewer. They now ran... towards the Presidential Palace.

OOC: Yes it is possible. I can use the sewers to navigate throughout the City, getting under the Palace and doing a raid. Oh and here is what each soldier has.

It has been announced that Federated Directorate leaders and Capitalism Now party officials have decleared a ceasefire. Part of this deal involved the release of True Directorate party members and that Elections will return to Hallad. President Fenris said it was nessicery for Hallad's economic stability and relation with the world that this be done.

Elections will be held every four years, starting four years from now. Untill then the country shall remain under the leadership of Mustafa Fenris.

Both FD, TD, and Capitalism Now party officials agree that the task at hand, defeating the Shessaran enemies, far outways anything else.

The first act of this political coalition was to call up two million conscripts to active duty. The huge feat of mobilizing all of these men is said to take two months, at least. However we can expect atleast one division raised in the next week and a half.

Shessara, despite what you think, I'm sure that 40,000 men don't walk down the road in one big group. I really suggest you learn modern warfare tactics before I post a B-2 Spirit passing by and dropping 1,000 lbs bombs in the center of the huge mass of peasents with M1 Garands...

Bedwyr sipped a cup of tea as he sat in the mostly empty conference hall, enjoying the irony that he was looking over maps, looking for a route of attack in a chamber that a couple days ago had been used for a Peace Conference. "What will you do?" he asked Fenris, "Stay here? Or move your capital like the Americans when Washington fell in the War of 1812?" He looked back to the map, imagining troops marching across it. He was in a good mood dispite the war, going from Lt. to Colonel in one telegram had that effect. "Where do you want our men?" he asked, looking at the areas around Erse and wondering how close they could get before running into Shessarans.

"Well, our provisional capital is New Dublin in an event like this. I believe it'd be wise to move it. At any rate there are the old Premier's Admisitration Officer there and the old Parliament building." He sipped some cofee.

Confederation News Network Broadcast on the Subject-


Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen of the press and media, as you all know the Royal Confederation has been monitoring the situation in Hallad. We condone this situation, especially the rise of islamic terriorists, who claim to be fighting for a better government or somthing like that. We will not allow them to take power from a capitalist regeme, for that would undermine our security, for appeasement has never given us peace in our time, or peace with honor, it has always lead to war. The time for action is now.

However the situation within Hallad is not one where we send in the Military and disarm and destroy such terriorists, instead we must stablize the country first. As a result, as of 0500 this morning, I have mobilized the Royal Military's Rapid Reaction Force as well as other elements of the military. Our presence will be to help rebuild the peace and help broker a settlement.

Unless asked we will not intervene in the ground conflict, for now we have sent two Naval Assault Fleets, one of which will be on station 200 miles off the coast of Hallad within 48 hours, the other will arrive in 72 hours, as well as a Naval Support Fleet in order to give logistical and specialist support which will arrive in less than a week. These three fleets will be augmented by Naval Reserve forces in Marine Coastal Defense Vessels and other small ships in order to provide a sizable force nearly directly off the shore of the country, ready to move in.

I stress now to all parties involved that we will not directly engage in armed conflict unless fired upon. Due to the dangerous nature of such a conflict, we are more than willing to defend ourselves.

For the army contingent, the First Airborne Brigade is at 6 hour alert at its base in Darthfordshire, they will be the first troops on the ground along with members of the fifth and sixth Royal Marine regiments of the second Royal Marine brigade. If we do land in an operation, we will not simply set light troops ashore, instead we will give them all tactical and strategic support from the Royal Navy, Military Intelligence and the Air Force. We will also be willing to commit the Rest of the Rapid Reaction Force and I Corps, all assets can be placed on station within 20 days.


There you have it ladies and Gentlemen, Live from the Confederation Palace is the responce to the situation that has been developing in the last period of time in Hallad. We now have a list of units which could participate in this operation, named Divine Justice. They are as follows:


Army Units-
First Airborne Division, currently able to be in country in a fully airborne operation within eighteen hours.
Second Royal Marine Brigade from Lands End, currently embarking onto transports to take it to the task force assembly point 200 miles off the coast.
First Mechanized Brigade Group, one of the main formations in the rapid reaction force, which would be airlifted and sealifted to Hallad after the Marines and Airborne forces have occupied suitable facilities to move such a large formation.
Second Mechanized Brigade Group, like the other Brigade Group, would not participate in the first wave of the operation.
I Corps HQ, they would participate in the First wave of landings in order to help control the Airborne Units.
First Armored Division, They would be in the third wave of landings and operations, possibly second if the Reserve forces would be mobilized.
Second Armored Division, They would also be in the third wave of landings.
First Infantry Division, They would probally be airlifted into theater to help with peace support operations, since experiance has shown that dismounted and light troops help the process more.
Third Airforce Field Division, They would most likely be in the first wave of landings and operations, since they are light troops suited for helping to set up a support network and base facilities.
Other Smaller Independant Units tagged for deployment are the Farnath Signals Regiment, 30 Service Battalion, 31 Service Battalion, 26 Military Police Company, 28 Military Police Company, 3 General Support Service Battalion, 7 Medical Company and 11 Medical Company

All and all, there looks to be close to 90,000 troops that would be deployed in such an operation as ground troops, for Air force assets the contributions look to be just as vast.

Air Force-
1st and 2nd Tactical Aviation Group- They will be used to transport troops in theater, as well as use their long range transport assets to help transport troops and supplies in theater.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Strategic Aviation Group- These units will be used for transporting troops in theater if the approval is given.

Navy-
First Assault Fleet- They are currently only 48 hours away and are heading towards the coast, made up of the best ships in the fleet and commanded by the Royal Navy Flagship 'Fearless Valor' one of the several Nimitz class aircraft carriers the Royal Navy has. They also have a full fleet air arm fighter group aboard, as well as considerable offensive and defensive capacities.
Second Assault Fleet- Currently departing from Farnath Harbor and lead by the Nimitz Class Carrier 'Illustrious', they are going to steam at fulll speed to the task force assembly point, carrying their full air compliment as well as their support and defense ships, they also have a few troop ships and supply ships, like the first assault fleet. (Both fleets have the same number of ships)
First Naval Support Fleet- These ships will provide minesweeping, Replinishment at Sea as well as the Assault Ships for most of the Second Royal Marine Brigade, it is currently setting out to sea from Lands End, with loaded supply and troopships heading out, while others as well as RNR ships still embarking, most of the RNR ships look to be loading with supplies, mostly munitions and fuel.
Royal Navy Reserve- The RNR will be manning MCDVs as well as many of the larger logistical ships which will be used for transporting the second and third wave of the operation.

As of now, Military Intelligence contributions have not been given out by the Public Affairs Officers. Many other units that could be mobilized are not listed yet, once they know we here at the Confederation network will list them.

Shessaran forces within Erse ransacked the city, searching for food, ammunition, anything that would help in event of a siege.

Shessaran forces marched south, reinforced by detachments seconded from the northern provinces, an army of six million men, fortified and supplied from within.

Shessara issued a general call to arms of all that would support her.

OOC: No. They could be, dare I say it... spread out?

To high for flak or SAM's to reach, 2 B-2 Spirit Stealth Bombers. They heard that the platoon raiding the supply line had been killed off, and three helicopters shot down on their radio. 20 1,000 lbs bombs were dropped on the mass of men.

On the otherside of the canyon was an entrenched division of the Republican Gaurd, who's 30 M1064A3 Self-propelled 120mm Mortar and 30 FH-155-1 155mm Towed Howitzers began firing into the 40,000 men.

In Erse 100 more Vulture SAM tanks arrived in the city. Along with the 60 already there and the 125 Avenger Pedastool Mounted Stingers and men armed with Sa-18 "Grouse" Portable SAM's, they continued to fire at all of the Shssaran fighters.

The unified Halladi force lead a massive offensive against the Shessaran's in Erse. 30,000 Regulars from the Erse Provincial army attacked from the east with another division of Republican Guard, while the 75,000 Regulars in the city attacked from the interior with the help of the roughly 1,000,000 policemen and a division of Marines. to help wear down Shessaran positions 1,000 Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched at heavy fortified areas and Anti-Air enplacments.

OOC: And now to start my attacks...

Two of the Five Fleets arrived near the Shessharan coast, the other three near the Halladi coast, they were now renamed the Rosian-Halladi Defense Fleet. They would do long range airstrikes against military positions. They would also provide close range air cover, for now, bombing anything that's an enemy near the Halladi border was the mission, with that, 5 RB-1s took off from a Nimitz Class Carrier. Also, 1 RCP-1 took off, they contained 20 Rosktai soldiers, aka Spec Ops. For now the RB-1s started flying towards the Halladi border via Hallad, at a high altitude of course.... but the RB-1s would have to warn them...

"This is Rhino Leader to Halladi Forces, request permission to fly over Hallad for bombing raids against Shessharan forces. Over."

As soon as they were allowed, they would bomb enemy positions...

The RB-1s sped off towards the border. Each plane was armed with one 1,000lb GPS-guided bomb. They would be used to break up enemy formations. After this they would of course return to the Carriers near Shesshara or go back to the Carriers near Hallad, which ever was better. The C-17 on the other hand would drop forces behind enemy lines, you know, cause some shit around there. They would be approaching the border soon.... meanwhile Rhino Leader sent out a message.

"This is Rhino Leader to Allied Forces, I have orders to ask for maps to be uploaded to the CRS Capatilism. Also, anything you need bombed?"

Several transport aircraft carrying the 156th divisions four brigades of infantry landed in Hareck and set up a base of operations along the border with Hallad. The Cymry SpecOps brgade set out to begin setting up mine fields along the roads leading into Erse, forwarding maps of the fields to Allied forces lest they be harmed. Within a few more days the fleet would arive with the rest of the division and by the end of the next week the rest of the force would be either in Hallad or on its way. Flights of AC-86s began patroling the roads, ready to hit any enemy units caught in the open. Bedwyr arrived at Dyfed Base Camp and took command of one of the SpecOps regiments.
In Erse, the Embassy guard stood by watching the havoc wrought by the Shessarans but not being a large enough force, the sought only to avoid direct conflict.

The ten RB-1 flew towards the border at Mach 2, high above the sky. No wait, they should be there, by now, never mind. They target the Shessharan line. Now aiming for the armor...

"Okay boys, here's the deal. Bomb any tank lines, supplies, or anything valuable. Just bomb. The RCP-1 will parachute the boys under the cover of bombing. Now go!"

The RB-1s started releasing their bombs. Each was supposed to hit a tank line or some sort of supplies. Though they'd get it in their casualty report. Meanwhile at the same time, the RCP-1 released all 20 Rosktai forces. Their mission? Fuck dem bastards up. Yup... it was war... but even though they released their bombs, they still had to escape...

The RB-1s... ran out of fuel. They were out. They needed to get out now. But not over enemy territory. They then began gliding towards the Halladi border. Though three RB-1s and the C-17 were lost in the counter-attack. But now they glided... towards life, or death. Death is more realistic.

Meanwhile, the 20 Rosktai troops landed. They drew their TM-93As up to aim, and ran to the nearest forest in Shesshara. I think there's forest anyway, correct me if I'm wrong... bleh.

The Shildonian aircraft that were guarding the Halladi coast against enemy transgressions are now relocated to patrol the Shessaran border, since that is where the greatest threat now comes from. The E-8's are now assigned to locating Shessaran resupply convoys and then providing vectors for friendly aircraft.
One of these convoys is attacked by a strike package consisting of two E-Centaur electronic warfare aircraft armed with five HARM anti-radiation missiles and an assortment of jamming pods for S\DEAD (Suppression\Destruction of Enemy Air Defences) followed by four Centaurs armed with twenty 500lb laser guided bombs. Using the same tecnique as in the raid on the rebels, thermal imaging pods will be used to locate tanks, artillery and trucks in the convoy.
Air defence will be provided by a flight of four Demeters, who will also carry out PsyOps during the mission by each dropping leaflets on the convoy urging the survivors to return to their homes or else face further bombing.

The Rosktai looked at the wasteland... damn they were pissed.

The soldiers groaned, they wasted all that time for nothing. Ah well, now they had to walk to the border... tsk tsk....

With the arrival of the fleet the Yr Widdfa forces were up to two corps, another four would arrive within the week. The task force had now cut the northern roads leading into Erse. They knew better than to assult the now occupied city, but beseiging it might work just as well with the IOTR and Halladi forces holding the border. If they could hold the roads, the only way for suppies to enter Erse would be the Sea. No word had reached them from the Embassy but they hoped for the best. If they could hold here, they could contain the damage already done.

Even as the General spoke, carrier-based fighters shrieked over Erse, dropping laser-guided payloads on various targets deemed threatening. Soon, smoke was twisting through the streets of Erse and into the air. Chinook transport helicopters roared in, delivering Marines clad in Kevlar and wielding P90s and M-16s. The "missing" 5th Armored Division reappeared, lead elements of the force roaring into the outskirts of the city. They moved quickly to attempt to seize critical infrastructure and strongpoints, and replied with lethal force against any attempts to resist them in kind.

OOC Corrections-

First off, I screwed up some spelling. Lieutenant General. :P

Second, the Shalrirorchian Force is willing to assault the city in full wrath even if Yr Widdfa will not. In fact, the demand to disarm extends to ALL other forces in the country, including Yr Widdfa. ;p

Third, the Shalrirorchians will allow any foreign national forces to withdraw without interference. But attempting to deploy -reinforcements- will be dealt with.

OOC: My God, we were withdrawing anyway. Why must people ruin things just when they were getting better.

As a result to the insertion of unauthorized military personnel from the USS, the Halladi fleets off the coast fired 400 Tomahawk cruise missiles at Shalrirorchia armour (ie, tanks), And, within the hour all squadrons of Tu-160 Blackjacks were off the ground and firing cruise missiles into the Shalrirorchian formations. A division of men were diverted from the offensive to combat the Shalrirorchian forces.

IC: Anti-air cannon and SAM batteries, mounted around Erse's perimeter, manned by Shessarans, created a wall of fire in and around Erse. The thousand Shessaran planes, dodging their friends' fire, dove in, targeting enemy planes, transport copters and advancing armor.

Shessaran Knights advanced to counter the infantry, sweeping through rifle fire with their ceramic/titanium plate and firing M-1s, Panzerfaust launchers, and wielding titanium-steel halberds with flesh-ripping chain-blades.

Are you equating Yr Widdfa's unwillingness to cause the massive civilian deaths involved in a full assult on a city to cowardess(sp)? Second, you have no right to deman disarmament of our Embassy guard, so just try it. Also, our position is the one we were asked to fill by our ally Hallad. You have not been asked to assult HIS capital.
