I see people everywhere who still uses the old "TAG"..... That is not needed anymore... Why don't you just use the:

Thread Tools ->
Subscribe to Thread

It's much easier.....

[OOC: Old habits die hard.

I've subscribed to threads, but I still use the TAG. In some respects it lets people know that you're reading their threads.]

It auto-subscribes when you post, so when it makes no difference.

In the same vein of thought as Sarzonia, I think of TAG as a sign of respect and deference to individual role-playing skills. More than anything, when I see a TAG on a single person story thread I know that it is something that might be worth reading (or at least mildly entertaining).

You know what's really annoying about threads like this? They're OOC, which means they shouldn't even be here.

I remember. Out of my huge post count ( :p ) 8 come from the old forum. Not to mention other nations I use having hundreds of posts from there. I sort-of agree with you.

tag

I knew you'd say that :p

I sort-of agree with you too. Moreso than Swedish, in fact.

I say, if you don't like people tagging, you should state so in your thread -- which I see a bunch of people doing already, which is good. Otherwise, people can safely assume that you don't mind, and let you know they're reading/spying!

Don't go off topic :p. And yes... you're right.

The TAG is like an abbreviation for, Im interested Ill come back later. Or, really good RP. It isnt simply pragmatic any more.

I automatically subscribe to any thread I post in, somehow.
