Defences/Other The commander of the heavily modified Revenge Class Battleship Imperator looked towards the asteroid cluster which would serve his purposes well.From the command pulpet's sensor screen the cluster of large blobs were not quite as imposing as through the viewscreen,but he could still tell they would do.
"Inform the fleet we will be stopping here."
"Aye commander."
The fleet had spent a harowing few months travelling through warp space in small jumps, and warp storms had claimed many ships.The fleet was a fraction of it's original size.But the Emperor had been kind,and the fleet seemed to have his protection for the last leg of the journey.

The small Dark Eldar courier ship entered the system.

We are an Imperial Explorator fleet,here to create a small colony.However,we are heavily armed.Do not attempt any kind of hostility,or you will be destroyed.Respond.

The Dark Eldar started scanning the area. The imperial ships were of no consequence. As it concluded it's scan, it relayed the information back to headquarters. It then procedded to boost it's engines and went forward at blindingly fast speeds, hoping to ram the imperial craft.

It realeased flurriers of Lance shots, hoping to cause some damage.

"The idiot is trying to ramus!Ha!We'll take it.Energy ram to full power,void shields to full power.This wont even leave a scratch on us.Fire all weapons."

The imperial ship released punishing volleys of flak,torpedoes and lances.
The Dark Eldar ship smashed into the side of the Imperial ship,leaving a few holes in the heavily shielded hull.
