The Democratic States of Spencer and Wellington was founded on August 14, 2004. The country consists of sixteen states and the capital is Democracia.
The government is made up of three branches, Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.
The Executive Branch is led by the President. The President can serve an unlimited number of five year terms. It also consists of the Vice President and the Ministers whom are appointed by the President, serve only as advisors unless otherwise directed by the President. The Minister's departments are as follows:
Minister of State
Minister of Defense
Minister of Justice
Minister of Finance
Minister of the Interior
The Legislative Branch is made up of the Senate. There is one seat for every state in SaW. The Senators are elected by popular vote, one senator from each state has a seat. Each senator can serve an unlimited number of two year terms. The Senate can pass laws but said laws can be vetoed by the President. This also works vica-versa.
The Judicial Branch is made up sixteen judges, one for each state, and is elected by popular vote from each state. A bill must be approved by 3/4 of the Supreme Court to become law.
Elections are held every August 14 to commerate the formation of SaW.
SaW's national animal is the Eagle and its currency is the Gold Mark.
