Most esteemed Ladies and Gentlemen of my Fellow Nations,

The Republic of Derion requests the assistance of other nations in helping train troops and sell equipment, such as weapons, fighter planes, etc.

We are willing to pay reasonable prices, and by reasonable I mean nothing outrageous.

We request that all training and equipment be updated and nothing older and obsolete.

Also Derion is willing to consider the purchase of manufacturing rights for military equipment.

In training please include Anti-Terrorism and Special Forces if possible. This training is for the mere purpose of creating a stronger nation, and allowing my newly formed nation to have stronger defensive, and if needed offensive capabilities. I thank you for your time in reading this letter, possibly your consideration of my request, and hopefully your help in the establishment of a country.

A helicopter quickly dropped off the representative at the specified location. The helicopter quickly headed eastward, and he was left there, without any other men. The man waitied patiently, he had some kind of an assault rifle slung over his shoulder. He looked around, waiting for the other representative to arrive.

President Garcia paces as he speaks on the phone with his Generals.

"So we have already purchased 2 of the WTI packages correct?" Says Prez Garcia. He is somewhat sweaty from all the purchases he has made.

"Yes sir, that purchase has yet to be confirmed but we have placed the order." replied the general.

President Garcia walks back to his desk and begins to go over the list with General Knil.

"Ok have we placed an order for the the super-phoenix fighters?"
"Check."
"WTI Tank?"
"Check."
"That small battle group?"
"Check."
"Ok that looks like everything so far. Now," President Garcia goes into a whisper, "What of our operative meeting?"

Meanwhile a thick cloaked man approaches the Checkstation. His eyes locked onto another figure in the dark. Slowly he approaches the assumed anonymous representative, and speaks the password.

"So money isnt good enough?"

The strange man smiles. His voice is of an accent you have never heard, and he speaks with quite an exaggerated tone.

"Our organization already has financial support. What we need is far different. We need the patronage of a nation. The payment we ask is that you support our revolution to overthrow the corrupt, socialist government that controls my homeland. They have oppressed the native peoples there, and we will have no more of it. Mostly what we ask is for you to support our actions, and if possible support us with defense measures in case there are any other nations that would want to interfere. If you accept to this temporary pact, we will fully train your military and special forces in many different tactics. Remember that it isn't just combat that is important, your military has to perform all functions from propoganda to humanitarian aid. Do you accept?"

How big is this nation we are dealing with? What and how many other nations may attack as a result of this?

"The nation is the Socialist Island States of Hadula. It has an approximate population of ten million. They have no real military, the closest thing was us, the LJFA. However, we do not serve the government any longer. They have a few allies. The only one you would probally need to worry too much about would be the Austar Union and the Grenvali. We have substantial forces, native and mercenary. We can crush the Hadulan government easily, we only need your support against any retaliation. At most ,only three nations would most likely defend Hadula with substantial forces. As I said before, only the Austar Union and the Grenvali state presents a true threat."

"I will need to speak with my president of this. However, I believe that Derion will need to buy much more equipment to take on 3 other nations, it is just so young and only has a population of 6 million." The operative said grimly. He slowly pulled out a cell phone and began to speed dial.

Back in the office of the President, the phone rings, breaking the silence that the president was temporarily enjoying.

President Garcia picked up the phone and began to speak.

"Shadow, what's the news."
"Well, sir...they want our support in a revolution."
"Against whom?"
"The Socialist Nation of Hadula."
"As much as I dont like socialists, I have to consider the repercussions."
"Yes sir, that is where we come to a problem. The overthrow of Hadula's government is not the problem, the problem is retaliatory action."
"What Nations? How Many?"
"Three, sir."

The president, who was standing at the moment, sat down and unloosed his tie.

"I'll get on the phone and call for a strategem meeting. I will also begin placing up the orders for more equipment."
"Yes, Mr. President." said the operative and hung up.

He turned to the Hadulan revolutionist and relayed the president's answer.

"Request confirmed."

The contact smiled.

"Don't worry about the retaliation. We won't be attacking for another year. One of our more, extreme branches in New Portugal had blown our cover, we will need to lay low for a while. However, we have captured one of the Hadulan Triumverate, Estaban Riverra, living proof of the defilement of our land, a Portugese man ruling the nation they conquered so many years ago. We will wait and grow for a while, we will be recruiting from neighboring Pacific islands and mercenary groups. We also need to plan the capture of the capital. Tell your president that in a year we wil lcontact him. During this year, we will train your troops. We have secured an uninhabited island, close to Hadula, but far enough so we wouldn't attract any attention. Only the Grenvali would notice, but we will mask the operation as UTA training.

Thank you, we are pleased you will help us. On the map is the coordinates and location of the island. In one month, we will begin the training of your drill seargants, who will in turn train your larger army. We will also train your Speical Forces there after we have run the courses for your drill seargants. I must be picked up, I must go handle the situation in New Salamanca. A pleasure doing business."

And as soon as he finish, a loud rumbling sound is heard and a helicopter begins to hover overhead, releaseing a ladder down. The contact smiles and crawls up, as the helicopter again heads east to an unknown location.

In the president's office the staff was assembled. One of the staff generals pressed a button on his seat, and down came a several screens on one wall of the room.
One by one they turned on. Some had different operatives, others contained maps and charts.
On one screen was the operative who met with the Hadulan revolutionist.

"Gentlemen, we must come to a decision. I for one support the idea of backing the Hadulan revolution. However it may be against the better judgement and not for the better of the people. Your thoughts?" The President began.

"Sir, I just dont know what the two, maybe three other countries have on us. If they are going to be a major threat, I am not sure how we can hold off two of them." One of the generals spoke out.

"We have a large enough army." argued another.

"But supplies and weaponry we lack. If we dont get our weapons programs up soon, we are looking at a bleak future situation." retorted another.

"But remember we have 1 year to do so. I believe that will be sufficient time to build up a staunch and decent army." Chimed the President.

"I say we call the vote." said another.

One by one each staff member pressed a button hidden under the conference table.

On the largest screen in the room the results were displayed.

"60-40...We move forward with our plans then. Issue the order for the training to begin."

At his command those chosen to be trained and in turn train the army were given their orders, they took a boat immediately to the Hadulan Revolution Hideaway.
