Guy Verhofstadt adresses the people and VA

I hereby announce im withdrawing from the Victoria Alliance.

This was supposed to be a Mutual Defence pact, but people just used VA to defend theyrselfes and dont help others.
Things were great, we had accords who were voted democraticly and we had foreign affairs policys who were also voted democraticly.

Then Hamptonshire was made President and he made the charter.
Victoria Assembly : Screwed VA up
President has final saying over anything: Screwed VA up
No more accords, just complicated VA rules: Screwed VA up.

I hope I can stay in good contacts with all the VA nations, Camewot is in need of a change.
Not in government, but internal.

This is an interesting turn of events... as founder was there nothing you could to to try to repair any damage to the Victoria Alliance?

Like I told you, H-shire did not screw up the alliance, he made it more formal. You might disagree with some of his ideas, but that doesn't make him a terrible president.

Nobody used the VA to defend himself except yourself. I certainly didn't anyway.

I also didn't beg for any sort of help from the VA, and never would have..

But anyway, my 'betrayal' of the accords was apparently worse than your abuse of your position as founder and minister of defense..



And.. suspending my account after my withdrawal because I "helped HP" was probably the lowest and most despicable thing you did.

But hey, I don't care.. hmph.. I'm not in the VA anymore.

Fair enough. Though is Camewot onto something... is there a problem with the Victoria Alliance? Camewot isn't the first nation we've seen leave recently, after all. You'll have to forgive this representative's ignorance, we knew of the VA's existence, and a few key members, but the recent internal politics are somewhat vague in terms of our knowledge.

Credonia, Camewot, and Greenmanbry are three nations that left the alliance in a span of two days. The reason all lies in Camewot's utter reliance on the VA, as well as his abuse of his position as Minister of Defense..

We find it utterly disgusting that we are dragged into a war, without notification nor consultation, thus destroying the ideals of freedom and democracy that the VA was established to withhold.

The leadership at the Victoria Alliance is unstable, and all I hope is that, with the new cabinet that will be appointed soon, things will pick up and become more effecient and more stable.

It's pretty much collapsing now. Falastur'll probably leave in the next NS year or so....

The Victoria Alliance isn't falling apart. Greenmanbry has just returned and Camewot, who was the major reason why Credonia and Greemanbry left, has resigned and their are already elections for a new cabinet. Camewot is no longer a part of this alliance so I think that will resolve many issues. Falastur if you leave I would think it would have more to do with inactivity than with anything else. From the records I have you haven't been on and posted in a month or so.

For the sake of the alliance, we are glad that Camewot has made the right decision. Regardless of the bilateral relationship between Camewot and Praetonia, Camewot has repeated blackened the VA's reputation. We believe that if we are indeed to be a respected organisation of the world stage Camewot cannot hold a governmental position. Praetonia will now, as President and sole remaining founder, attempt to abolish the Founder system and move forwards to a fully democratic alliance. We also wish to rebuild the sorely damaged reputation of the VA.

I think you have made a wise decision Praetonia. Being the only founder would give you very substancial powers. I think I fully democratic alliance will only help the Victoria Alliance to become stronger.

We agree wholeheartedly with the proposal by Praetonia and we welcome the opportunity to field a fully democratic alliance.

Falling apart. Hah. Credonia came back into the alliance this morning along with Greenmanbry. The only nation that is now out of the alliance is Camewot. No Cam III you aren't a trendsetter, thank God for that. The alliance is stronger than ever. Go ahead Falastur leave. We don't really care. The alliance isn't falling apart and only Camewot has left for good.

You were kicked out, you didnt leave. Credonia left for... other reasons... and has now come back, Camewot left because he was in serious danger of being thrown out and most of the other who left then came back.

Dude, I said I would leave. I just mouthed off about The VA and you deleted my account...

I deleted you account and IP banned you for OOC offences (ie constantly spamming threads with random swear words), your membership was then voided when you nuked me and Morathania.
