Catholic Church opens in Mekanta Zero - Mekanta NOT happy... (VERY GRAPHIC LATER)
-Seaside Village Arumaranzu
Erena smiled as she bowed her head, praying to her new God.
It had been two months since the missionaries had washed up on the shores, right about at the boarder between Mekanta Zero and Fera. A large settlement of Humans, with some Ferans, and even a few Mekantans like Erena had taken them in, listening to thier stories of the world outside the continent of Mekanta Zero.
It wasn't long until people began to believe as they did. The Humans and Ferans were first, but even the Mekantans finally converted.
They lived happily, around the Catholic bishops. They had bent, however, and Erena was slated to be ordained as a priest...ess... It was a move purely to get the Mekantans, who though born and raised on Earth, still knew of Mekanta's old ways, to trust them more. Erena was the most devout of the thirty-seven Mekantans, actually among the most devout of the entire "village" of four thousand souls.
They understood why. Her life was hard, knowing first hand Administrator Kuroi's cruelty. It hurt to think about it, and about the scars she still had, both physical and psychological, but her new faith seemed to make everything hurt less... Now, everything was good, and the people were happy.
But in the back of her mind, she knew Kuroi and the Mekantan Imperium as a whole, wouldn't stand for this. She spent too much time timidly at Kuroi's side, chained there, to think otherwise...
-Message to all Catholic Nations
"Greetings, brothers of the cloth. I am Bishop Carl DeVours, head of the Catholic Church of Mekanta Zero."
"There is so much more to be done, however, for we have only converted a village on the outskirts of this nation. The Ferans to the west seem Christian enough, but hold the pagan belief that thier leader is the Messiah. And the rest of the people in Mekanta Zero..."
"We ask only for your prayers, friends. My congregation has expressed a desire to go out and convert thier bretheren. They claim this 'Administrator Kuroi' who oversees this land is the Devil Himself."
"But, it will be a long, tough road. Any financial assistance you could give would be appreciated."
OOC: If there is an atheist force in this, I would like to take their side.
-OOC-
The closest thing to an athiest force is Mekanta, but they worship the Emperor. Besides, they won't accept help from "apes," as they call Humans.

-Mekanta Zero
Weeks passed, the word of the Catholic Church spreading. The newly-appointed missionaries spreading throughout the countryside. They wore the cross proudly, yet weren't confronted by the Mekantan and UPEC patrols throughout the land.
They attributed it to God's blessing...
Administrator Kuroi attributed it to mercy. His mercy...
-Hive Terra 001
"Christians... The worst kind of vermin..."
Kuroi looked out the window of his office at the top of Hive Terra 001, the core of Mekanta's operations on Earth. Disgusted by the thought of Catholics, the worst of the Christian cockroaches, in his domain sickened him. With a mental command, the wall turned black and opaque. He growled, his mood causing a lightshow to play thoughout the wall. Sickly green and red colors splashed through the walls.
They won't last long. Kuroi smiled evilly, the walls flashing red once before going dark.
No, they won't last long at all... And Kuroi would make damn sure of it...

"We shall see about that." Catholic citizen and Nation owner. "Any need for money on the missions, just ask away!" :) My Sister is a missionary.
OOC: If there are any zealous religious forces, I'd like to take their side.
-OOC-
Religious Zealots? Try the Ferans. The Catholics won't do much to resist Mekanta except run. And they won't get far.

Erena smiled, lying back in the grass and watching the clouds overhead. Everything was right in the world, save Mekanta's presence. She turned her head slightly, looking in the direction of Terra 001, her smile fading. The sky was discolored in that area, becomming a sick green color. Kuroi was angry. The area of Mekanta's hives were so under his control the sky reflected his mood.
Worried?
She looked up at a man standing over her, smiling. Another Mekantan. Elryx, a long-time friend of hers. Someone who might have become more if it hadn't been for faith being kindled so strongly in her.
A little. She responded, smiling back. Telepathy, and psionics in general, were a potent gift of Mekanta. Bishop DeVours said those abilities were a gift from God, so they weren't covered under witchcraft. It was only when they were used to harm others...
Don't worry. Mekanta doesn't know about us. We're safe.
I know. She responded, not really believing it...
-Hive Terra 001 (SECRET)
Kuroi growled as several missiles slammed against the hive, causing no damage. Those damn Ferans were at it again. If it wasn't one group of inferiors causing trouble, it was another. Today, oh lucky day, it was two.
"Genocide is starting to sound more and more appealing..." He growlled, smirking.
He made the walls and celing transparent, providing a clear view of the minimal damage caused by the missiles and the Akumu units scrambled to bring in the attackers.
The Ferans were the only reason Mekanta hadn't tracked down the Catholics. The stupid cats kept trying to ambush Mekantan patrols, causing them to apply the higher directive of "Crush Feran Rebellion" above Kuroi's orders to "Crush Catholic Church" and such.
Kuroi watched as the sky shifted to its normal blue color, only to flash an angry purple as someone knocked on the door.
"WHAT!?"
"It's Midori, sir. I have information you might be interested in..."
*"Silent Farspeak"* [tachyon transmission]
"Attention to Speaking/Gesturing!!!"
A harsh gutteral roaring vioce issues from the "main chamber where all dictates/orders are given" [rough translation: government office?]
The Sskiss is none other than Isss' Raak himself, a huge, monsterous mass of dense hardned flesh and bone.
"The great and powerful Isss' Raak, Tyrant ruler of the Sskiss multitutes senses/smells a fracturing of the "creche of the non-flesh" [Mekanta]. This fracture with "those who are eaten" [Feran] believe's in what cannot be sensed/seen... Insane!!/minds have fossilzed!! We will offer assinstance to a member of the "greater crech" [ESUS].
"They spread/speak untruths in all things. They seek to fracture your creche.!! They are disease/infestation which must be irredicated/exterminated!!"
"Show you power!! Crush then in your jaws!! Rip their flesh with your talons!! Stomp these maggots of treason into the ground"!!
"They are disruptors of the "order of all things""....
-Transmission to Sskiss
"We thank you for your offer of assistance, but Fera is nothing more than a minor annoyance to us at the moment. Plans are presently underway to fix the problem once and for all."
"Should the UPEC fail to crush the Catholic and Feran rebellions, we will resort to full orbital bombardment of our territories."
"You are true allies, friend Sskiss. Should you ever require assistance, do not hesitate to ask us."

Administrator Kuroi
Lord Director of Terran Operations
-Holding Sector Gamma 3, Hive Terra 001 (VERY SECRET)
Kuroi stode into the room, several Shinigami-types bowing in a Mekantan salute as he entered. "{Lord Kuroi, to greet with honor and respect those above me.}" The AI spoke in polite Mekantan, normally used to one higher ranking who actually gave a damn. "{Of prisoner, having information, to have not gained.}"
Kuroi's gaze fell on the AI, who stiffened. "{Explain.}"
A piercing scream split the air, interupting the AI before it had a chance to speak. It was followed by another, and another. Once they stopped a moment, the AI straightened. "{To gain progress, to not. Of prisoner, of will, to be strong.}"
The air grew cold as Kuroi's displeasure showed through his powerful psionics. Wordlessly, he strode into the torture chamber where a Feran girl, probably no older than sixteen, was chained against the wall, naked. Deep cauterized wounds ran across her arms, obviously inflicted by the NeoSyokusyu hovering in the middle of the room. The Syokusyu were the only Mekantans who didn't have to salute or speak respectfully in the presence of Kuroi. Namely, since they lacked the ability to do either.
"{Of report, to give.}"
{None. To have heard before.} The Syokusyu could only communicate telepathically, and was always rather blunt when doing so. {To make request of permission to use neuro-uplink.}
Kuroi smiled, nodding. Another reason the Syokusyu were allowed such leeway. They had a knack for seeing new solutions to old problems. Granted, even after the information Mekanta needed was ripped from the girl's mind by Meknata's advanced neurolink technologies, the girl would be back in the torture chambers for daring to resist Mekanta.
"{Keep me informed.}"
{To want information, to gain itself.} The Syokusyu replied bluntly, essentially telling Kuroi to "Do it himself."
Patiently, calmly, Kuroi left. He knew not to anger the Syokusyu, despite his rank. They were too valuable. Instead, the moment he left the room, one of the Shinigami found itself telekinetically thrown across the room.
Mekanta watched closely as the church spread, gaining more and more followers daily.
They had been looking for an excuse to tighten control of Mekanta Zero, and now they finally had it.
It was just a matter of time until they would sweep in, eradicating all "enemies of the state" with extreme predjudice.
