After around 10 years of development, a super-organic fuel has been created. Using a heavily modified strain of E. coli, scientists have created a new species that they call Escherichia zajac, named after the scientist who completed the formula.

When the bacteria is allowed to grow on a nutrient tray (solid or liquid), it converts the nutrients directly into Hydrogen. It creates H2 at a high enough rate that 4 6"x6"x1" trays can power a small car.

The trays can also be refilled quite easily.

To the developer,

We are very interested in this technology. We wish to buy the technology so we may produce it in our country as an alternate power source for our autmobiles and drastically reduce pollution. Please wire us the specifics of the system and what power it gives (as in watts). Then, if we are satisfied, we will wire the amount of money you wish so we may use the technology in our nation.

With sincerest regards,
Consul Estaban Riverra (http://www.iownjoo.com/freeimghost/VeniceDamon/EV1.jpg)

The message has been wired.

The Bacteria feed on the sucrose-based feeding medium, generating CO2 and H2 as byproducts. The burning of the hydrogen created in about 10 minutes is equivalent to 10^8 Joules.

You have satisfied our requirements. Please TG us with the details of a transaction.

So basically for this to work you would have to use a hydrogen burning engine? I am sorry, but you might as well just use ethanol. Probably be a lot safer than creating another strain of E.Coli.

Kahta would like information on this fuel for any military applications.

As long as it doesnt become consumed by anyone, it should be safe.

OOC: E. coli is used for a lot of things... it is the most documented bacterium, and rather easy to manipulate... artificial insulin is made by an E. coli strain.
