Recently after the fall of the Austar Union empire, violence has not stopped. Things perhaps are harder for RF forces, Especially in Berlin where most loyalist militia are. The Red Army is meant to fight nations and take ground or hold it. Not fight against civilians who use hit and run attacks. Rebels have been taking arms in the streets of RF Berlin and gunning down Soldiers that are lightly armed in the district. The Russian government officials that had control have been held prisoner. Russian long range artillary from poland are now readying to bombard if necessary. Soldiers right now are being placed in Mi-17's to be dropped in the zone, while ground forces wait at the gates to move in. Red Army Generals are calling for Unified Sith and Holy Panooly involvement for if this district falls, so will the others.

Vladimir Putin who is inspecting a airfield in the Ukraine looks at the aircraft as the officers line up and salute. As Red Army choir music plays, a General runs up with two officers. Putin looked straight into the Generals eyes, knowing there is bad news.

General: Comrade Premier, The Berlin district is currently facing a rebellion.

Putin: These Austarians... they are stubborn as their government.

General: Indeed comrade premier... right now, we are sending what we can to calm things down. We might need to use heavy weapons to have a grip on this country.

Putin: Very well General, you have full clearance to use any method to remove this pitiful insurrection.

General: Thank you Comrade Premier! I will not fail you!

The General walks off and Putin resumes his inspection.

Considering the long term relations our two countries have, ang considering the degrading situation in Berlin, the ANL wishes to deploy an observation team to Berlin, granted if the Russian Forces government would allow it.

For the protection of the plane and our observation team, we will send 8 Aztlan Intel Agency Agents a(AIA) and 5 Jaguar Warrior Infantrymen (JWI.) It is unclear what is happening right now in the Russian Forces district of Berlin. What can be heard is gun fire as well as artillary bombardments. Right now Mi-17's are flying above us, backed up by hind gunships. On the roads we see tanks and soldiers making their way into the city. There are rumours that 80 Russian soldiers have been killed in the fighting so far.

In the Holy Panooly occupied zone there are also signs of rebellion by the former AU citizens. 300 men of the colonial policeforce are trying the best they can to quell the rebellion. So far the situation seems under control.

The Holy Panooly administration in east-Germany has requestion more military help from Holy Panooly to put down any riots that might threaten HP authority in the near future.

Heavy fighting has begun. As the streets of RF Berlin turns to rubble, The Miltia still fgihts on and hides in the destroyed buildings, trying to ambush convoys. However with resistance lowering, Russian troops are carrying out search and destroy operations. With Night vision they gun down even civilians. Every 10 seconds, You could hear a AK burst. Currently Trucks carrying poison gas are driving into the city to poison the sewer dwellers.

Chellis is willing to station an airbourne division in berlin, from france, to help russian forces quell the rebels. Our soldiers have no qualms with collateral damage, and are quite skilled in ending rebellion.

Very well... send them in. But i must warn you... they are hiding in the sewers and such so they can turn up anywhere.

As long as we are given the clear to use full force, we shouldnt have a problem. We are sending them by train, Via Marseilles to Berlin.

The fighting is worst in the Russian district. Estimates of the number of dead vary from 2,000 to 5,000. Bodies still lie in the streets where they have fallen in what is already being called the Berlin Hammer Revolution.

The rebellion is reported to have spread into the eastern half of the city and area's like Parks and residential area's.

Prime Minister Ivan Mostovoi, who was reinstated two days ago in an attempt to end the uprising, has promised to meet the demonstrators' demands for economic reforms and the withdrawal of Soviet troops and tanks. However due to the rebels failing to aggressively attack political sites has shown that nothing can be done but a full military fight. The Rebels are failing to hold and are desperate to resume negotiations but Mostovoi wishes to not listen and end the conflict once and for all in the name of Socialism.

Outside the Central Government Building in Attica City a podium has been erected. To it's left flies the Flag of Attapolis and to it's right the Flag of Rotovia. Guards in black military uniforms surround the stage as a crowd of citizens and press irrupt in applause as President Baccheus steps up to speak.

The Crowd bows breifly as the President is lead inside the building.

Within the marble halls of Androtia's presidential palace, there were rumors of a planned black bag ops to be staged in the nearby Berlin territory of RF; they had been circling around for the past few days now, the information being leaked from the top brass to the lowly interns, who in turn fed the hearsay to the country's plot-hungry media. Meanwhile, the newly appointed leader, Jeanine Hawthorne, sat with a grim visage among her cabinet members...she wasn't too happy about sensitive military operations being leaked to the public.

"Jerry, what does the RF know about what we're doing so far?" The President turned to hersecurity advisor, Gerrard Sims--former director of the country's Ministry of Intelligence and one of the few men Hawthorne trusted.

Clearing his throat, Sims explained the current situation to the five seated in the room. "Absolutely nothing. They haven't even flinched at the bollocks being spit out by every news network in our country. So far, Putin doesn't think an upstart country like us would even dare challenge their authority over the region."

The President then turned to General Martinez, her Army Chief of Staff. "And how successful are the current operations being carried out?"

"Lots of support, Madame President. The civilians are more than willing to gain their independence with our support."

Before he could say another word, she cut him off to clarify his statement. "Our non-sanctioned support."

0435, In a Strip of the Autobahn West of Dresden

In an undisclosed rendezvous point, a white van carrying American-made M-4 carbines pulled over to the side of the road, whereupon a silver Volvo pulled up behind it to whisk away its driver. Minutes later, a Renault appeared, its passenger exiting it and commandeering the abandoned vehicle.

The moon shone particularly bright this night. Andrea Nioketz looked through the top of a Mirca IV, staring down a dead silent street in the berlin suburbs. She and two other IV's full of women were the squad on patrol through this particular sector.

"Nicky" Andrea said, as the commander of the Mirca IV looked back at Andrea. "I thought this place was supposed to be full of action?" She continued, as she began scoping out windows with her P14.

"You should be happy its quiet tonight!" The commander said, as she went back to paying attention, with her Pecheneg scoped Machine-gun. Andrea shruged, and noticed someone sitting at a window, wide open. He didn't have a gun or anything, so she stared at him for a few seconds.

"Fuck!" Yelled on of the women in the IV. Andrea stopped looking in her scope. The commanders dead body lay upon the Pecheneg, a silenced rifle hitting her right in the heart. "Oh my...Take Cover!" Andrea yelled, going inside the IV for a second, then emerging through the back door. 12 women did the same thing, while the IV's began firing on the snipers position. The squad of women who had bailed out of the tanks quickly took cover, and scanned their sectors. A few women took shots while one of them set up a Stuka MG on a tripod.

A molotov cocktail was chucked down from a roof, taking out the Chellian MG position. One of the Women took a rifle grenade shot at the roof, but it just bad rubble fall down. "Marina, Chelsea, Take point through that building. Me and Gabriella will follow. Angela, call for helicopter support, we need evac and strike, one of each. Mech, get out of here!" Andrea yelled, as an RPG-7V1 struck the top of an IV, blowing it, killing the crew. Angela took out her RPO-A. "Pay in blood motha fuckas!" She screamed, as she fired the thermobaric charge. It barely went above, and while screams were heard on the rooftop, it went over and hit the next apartment behind it, with the force of a 155mm shell.

Chelsea kicked in a door, and opened up fire on a rebel with a CKMS-47. Marina took a couple of shots up the stairway, but it wasnt important. There were few people guarding the inside. Andrea and Gabby started up a fire escape, as Automatic fire opened up on them. Gabby chucked a smoke grenade onto the room, and hoped it would build up fairly quick.

"Down there!" Was heard by Marina, as an RGD-5 rolled down the stairway near the top of the building. Marina quickly took cover, but Chelsea was hit with the full force of the grenade. No! Marina rushed up the stairs with her gun ready, to see only smoke. She reached the roof.

Andrea and Gabby neared it. However, they began to hear rapid gunfire, and saw bodies of rebels falling off. Screams were heard, both male and female, as andrea finally jumped onto the roof.

"They're firing from other rooftops... We need to call in backup!" Marina said, crouched up against a metal box. Andrea whipped out her FELIN PDA. She took a few quick key strokes, and then typed out a small message. "And now we wait." Andrea said, as the three women crouched together against the small protection the metal box offered.

The whistle of Mortars were heard, then the explosions. The gunfire quickly began deteriorating. It was quiet once again. Andrea felt lucky, for the time being.

"General, we're way to overstretched to do anything, and we must think of our own security. What if the Dutch and Belgians are inspired by this? If they are, there's no telling..."

"Well, that's an interesting point, but we must do something,"

"Well what? Parachute a bunch of AK-47s into Berlin and feul the rebellion."

"No. We must not look like agressors, so that we may not incur wrath from Russian Forces. Sino, Communist Mississippi, and _Taiwan are giving us enough of a headache."

"Well, then we could simply moniter the situation."

"No. Send humanitarian aid to Berlin. That will first of all make us look good to the International Community, and second keep us from getting our asses handed to us in yet another war."

"Who will give out the aid?"

"Fill a squadron of C-17s with it, and have Special Operations forces deliver it."

"Won't they be fired at?"

"Not if they're in Bonstocknian uniforms."

"Good point."

A member of the communist party went on TV to send a message to foreign powers.

"Comrades of Russia. We shall not allow foreign powers to force us to back down in the purging of the corrupted criminals of the Soviet system. Russian Forces district in Berlin must stay under the red flag, for if we are to lose it, then that part of berlin will be history and only be in our text books. We will not allow media coverage in this area for the safety of the reporters. It is extremely unsafe and already, chellis troops were under fire by the rebels. We would believe that Rotovia would not want a similar fate to its own representatives of its people in the wartorn province. One more thing, anyone caught aiding these rebels will be executed on site. Thankyou Spasiba."

The fighting
So far fighting gets more fierce then weak, then fierce once more. However Russian soldiers are gaining a grip on the area.

Russian troops continue to advance slowly into
Eat Berlin. As foreign news reports Austarian fighters
are putting up stiff resistance to the long-awaited
attack.

TEXT: Heavy fighting is reported as columns of Russian
tanks and heavy armor try to push into Berlin from
several different directions.

Thousands of soldiers and members of a pro-Russian
Austarian militia are in the vanguard of the thrust into
the embattled district.

Berlin is also subject to heavy aerial bombing and
artillery strikes in support of the infantry assault.

Progress is said to be slow as Russian commanders want
to avoid the heavy casualty toll that could possibly be inflicted by Austarian
fighters.

In many areas troops pulled back when the fighting is going got
too rough so that Rebel positions could be hit
repeatedly from the air.

As many as five-thousand Austarian fighters are believed
to be in the District, and they have vowed to defend the
city whatever it takes. At least one Austarian
commander reportedly says the Russian advance has been
halted. (Which is not true)

Despite this, some Russian field commanders claim the
Russian flag will be flying over the district within days.

Just recently, a Russian Radar picks up some unidentified flying objects. Immediatly 2 Mig-29's are dispatched to check it out.

The Pilots of the Mig-29's saw a large plane. They flew closer to get a proper visual. They then realised it is a C-17. The Mig-29 pilot prepares his radio.

Mig-29 pilot: Unidentified C-17, Leave multinational airspace or be shot down. This airspace is for the divided AU empire occupiers. I repeat, Leave now or we will use force!

The Pilots await for response.

Chellian troops in the west have been spear-heading through the large sub-urbs of berlin to the west, trying to meet the russians in the centre. While there is little aircraft support, the Chellian paratroopers do have numbers of munitions, mortars, RPO-A's, and 120mm howitzers.

About 90 Chellians have died in the short time they have been there, though rebel casualties are higher. Chellian light vehicles with 120mm rifled guns with HEAT rounds have been devastating against rebels, who have to get through ERA to damage the vehicles.

The Chellian airforces in Alsace-lorraine have begun trying to gain access to do tactical bombing of berlin by V-121 Bombers, as Chellian Special Forces have been marking a large number of strongholds and weapons caches.

Our C-17 is delivering humanitarian aid to the civilians of Berlin. We mean you no harm, the C-17s are not carrying weapons or ammunition, only humanitarian aid workers. We believe that this aid may help quell the rebellion.

The Russian government must warn Chellis forces that the problem solely remains in Russian controlled Berlin. Most other parts are controlled by other nations who are so far encountering light resistance.

The fighting has quiet down now. So far all can be heard is merely burning buildings and maybe a occasional gunfire once in a few minutes. However Russian troops have not routed the rebels totally. Many are running back in their sewers. What is being done now is that Russian forces are sealing every sewer route and are preparing to gas the rebels whenever possible. Right now, Red Guards who are loyal to the party are in the sewers linked to the ends of the district and are placing explosives to make rebels unable to retreat into other districts. This is also believed to be where they can be supplied as well. Generals are saying that the worst is over and now we must worry about feeding the hungry and treating the wounded. Construction teams are being prepared to rebuild the city once it has been fully cleared of the rebel presence. Rebels are now given amnesty for surrender. If they choose not to, there will be no prisoners. Gas trucks that are guarded heavily by soldiers are driving into the city. A soldier told us " We will kill them like the sewer rats they are"! Obviously the soldiers have no sympathy for the rebels.

The C-17 sends a transmission. [i]We will land at an RF airbase, so long as our aid workers are allowed to escort all humanitarian supplies themselves.

Chellian troops made breakthroughs to meet the russian forces troops. Chellian special forces help guard the gas trucks and plant explosives, as well as take out the last of the surface bourne rebels. About 650 Chellians were lost, and thousands of rebels were. A service is to be held in france for the dead, as most of the bodies were taken back eventually.

Story so far.
With more than 1200 Russian personnel dead and 10,000 rebels killed, Gas is being pumped to wipe out what remains of the rebels. ow since the tunnels have been closed from joint russian and Chellis troops, the rebels can not escape. Teams are now being sent to pile up the dead and bring in humanitarian aid.

OOC: I'm going to play the role of one of the rebel separatists...seeing as everyone is mostly concerned with using their country as their protagonists.

Petra and her team made their way into the Berlin Ritz, clad in civilian uniform and carrying a few bags of innocuous-looking luggage--ordinary Samsonites, Eddie Bauer gear...their mild appearance allowed them to get past the patrols in this quiet part of Berlin without much trouble; hell, most of the soldiers directed a few cat-calls towards her in Russian, taking her entourage as a bunch of foreign journalists. Rightfully so, anyway, thanks to the "camera" one of them carried which bared the red acronyms for the Androtian News Network.


Getting inside was easy enough, but planting the explosives would take some precise timing. There were six of them, with three staying at room 211 and the other down the hall at 216. They had hoped to get a room in the first floor to make their job easier, but now it was necessary to adapt and overcome.


For hours, they alternated patrol routes, studying when and where the guards wandered about in the first, second, and third floors. When they were sure they had gotten the routine down, they set to work. C-4 was placed in strategic locations where it was sure that structural integrity would be compromised...


But they didn't count on one guard who started his shift early. Of course, he was disposed of quickly, but not before he had sent word about the saboteurs. The sequential thumps of boots marching up and down towards floor two, and the rat-tat-tat-tat of AK-47's and M4 Colts sputtered back and forth between the soldiers and rebels. :mp5:


It wasn't long before the rebels were overpowered, their lifeless bodies strewn about in contorted positions where they had died. All except for Petra, who was still conscious, but barely alive. One of the conscripts approached her cautiously, eyes widening at the sight of her finger hovering above the detonator.


"G...g...get the general out of here! Evac--"


The explosion rocked the whole neighborhood, breaking nearby windows and setting off car alarms. An adjacent APC in front of the hotel was hurled across the street and into an antique shop. Dazed soldiers and civilians lucky enough to survive the blast outside and the ensuing avalanche of concrete walked about in a dream-like trance. They did not pay heed to the crimson streaming down their face, appendages, and torso...but at the sight of a 20-story building brought down to rubble in an instant.
