Due to an increasinly unstable leadership (mainly Camewot), and members that have gotten into a number of incidents that risk the well being of Credonia's national security, Credonia is publicly announcing its withdrawal from the Victoria Alliance, effective immediately. For the nations part of VA who wish to maintain a bilateral alliance, we are welcome to the idea and hope you would want the same.

Credonia puts its national security and the well being of our own people before all other's and we cannot continually have that security risked by the wreckless actions of our allies, nor will Credonia sit back and let that happen.

To Praetonia, the current president and vice president as well as the cabinet of VA, good luck during your terms in office. You all serve the alliance loyally. To the leaders of Camewot, the VA's secretary of defense, you dishonor the name of the Victoria Alliance by your actions, and you wrecklessly endanger the lives of millions of allied men and women, as well as innocent men, women, and children because of your personal vendetta's and your lust for war. God help the VA if you continue to be a member of such a great alliance.

We are sad that the Credonian Government has decided to leave the Victoria Alliance, but nonetheless we respect your decision. We should however like to point out that Camewot had no right to do what he did in Bal-Jazeera and that elections for a new defence minister are fast approaching anyway.

We would most like to keep a bilateral alliance with the United States of Credonia open, as we greatly respect your nation and view you as a friend to Praetonia.

The Federation of Morathania respects the descision of the United States of Credonia. We wish that you would have stayed in the alliance but none the less hope that you prosper and continue to be a beacon of peace and democracy. Whil we would have seen you stay in the alliance and try to change our policies democratically through the use of elections, referenda and voting we honor your descision. OOC: Camewot, Dumpsterdam's right, he's got a bigger pop. from just loooking at the join dates, and also, he's on the defensive, which normally has the advantage in war if they haven't been out annexing other nations. also, on the defenive, the defender normally has quite a bit of allies ready to pop in and help out, then comes the counter attack after they destroy your invading force, they'll come back at you with more than you even fielded which would have to be most of your armies and navys, also, unless you had stored tons of money(tens of trillions) after your war with HP, you wouldn't be able to field an army, while dumpsterdam wouuld have back up from his allies.

President Mike Sarzo viewed the statement from Credonia and said, "oh well," with a slight smirk. He sat down with Senior Vice President for External Affairs Mark Lorber and Senior Vice President for Internal Affairs Nicole Lewis to craft a statement.

"What's the diplomatic equivalent of, 'good riddance'," Lewis joked.

"I don't think we want to alienate Credonia," Lorber said.

"Like they've done to other countries," Lewis said.

"Come on now," Sarzo said. "What I'm looking for is an acknowledgement of Credonia's decision and whether or not we're open to an alliance with them separately."

"What do you think Mike," Lewis asked.

"I'd rather put it to a poll, but this situation calls for quicker action than that. What do you think?"

"I think my opinion of Credonia is well-known by now," Lewis said. "Probably express regret that they're leaving the alliance but be open to an alliance with Credonia."

"Sounds good," Lorber said.

"I'm thinking that if Credonia wants an alliance with us they're going to have to take the initiative with it. The ball's in their court," Sarzo said.

"Exactly," Lewis said.

"I'll be back."

Sarzo walked slowly to the press room where television cameras were waiting.

"Today, Credonia announced its withdrawal from the Victoria Alliance citing concerns with one of its leaders. While we respect their decision, we are saddened that they have chosen to address their concerns in that way.

"We wish Credonia well in their future endeavors. If they are interested in a separate bilateral alliance with us, I invite President Sutton to open a dialogue with Senior Vice President for External Affairs Mark Lorber about maintaining diplomatic ties."

With that, Sarzo returned to the meeting with Lewis and Lorber.

"Nice job, boss," Lorber said.

"Yeah, great job," Lewis grinned.

"We'll see," Sarzo said with a sigh.

The Sovereign Nation of Bal-Jazeera supports the motions made by Credonia in withdrawing from the warmongering group that call themselves the Victoria Alliance.

Consider yourself lucky that the VA stopped Camewot from invading you.

Bal-Jazeera, the Victoria Alliance as a whole is not a warmongering alliance, otherwise i wouldnt be praising its leadership with the exception of Camewot. My decision to leave was not based solely on the actions taken by Camewot as tha would make for a sorry reason to leave. Credonia butts heads on a few issues with a couple nations in the alliance, the same allies that we wouldnt exactly care to assist in a time of war, which would undermine the reason for Credonia being part of the alliance in the first place, so for you to accuse the entire Victoria Alliance of being warmongering is just blasphemous and false.

Praetonia, Morathania, and Sarzonia, Credonian diplomats will be getting in touch with you within the next 24 hours to discuss terms of a bilateral alliance with each other.

While we remain allies through the Ottoman Alliance, we hope that this withdrawl does not affect our ties with the United States of Credonia, which has been a strong pillar of democracy and a beacon of prosperity throughout the years..

The USC has helped us in various conflicts, and advised us on many issues, and severing the Dominion's ties with Credonia is the last thing we plan to do.

Credonia's withdrawal will in no ay shape or form affect the close relationship and bond between our two nations and our two people. Greenmanbry has been a very close ally in many endeavours and we look forward to the future as our bond to other can only get closer and more unbreakable.

Credonia do you want to rejoin the Victoria Alliance. Camewot announced earlier today he's leaving. HE resigned from the alliance. Greenmanbrys back in after he heard and I thought I would give the news to you. It would be nice to have you back in the alliance.
