OCC: (A Little Back History) It has been well know to major nations that the Stability of Dr_Twist has been rocky in the last few months especially with a Major war in the Nation when World powers struggling for power of the Nation. After the Fall of the Communist Government the Royal family returned to power from 2 Months of Exile.

0:30 This Morning, The Royal palace in the Capital Barracuda, The Royal Guard are doing normal checks of the Ground, When as many as 120 SAS Paratroopers begun Para-shooting from a Plane high above the Palace. The SAS landed on the roof of the east wing where 2 Royal Troops were waiting for them. The SAS troops slowly moved thought the Building The SAS troops received information before hand of the Royal Guards Movements in the palace.

The SAS troops slowly moved Through the Building towards the Royal Wing where the Tsar and Tsar’ess normally slept, while other Troops moved to where the two Son’s slept in the west wing.

1:01 SAS troops storm the Royal win of the Palace Arresting the Tsar and Tsar’ess while this was going on the Tsar pressed the Emergency button in the Room calling for the Royal Guards. OCC: An Internal Election will be Held within the Next few Days to install a New Prime Minister and Govern General within the Nation.

The Imperial Roycelandian Government condemns this atrocity to the fullest extent, and, in an emergency Parliamentary Session, voted to embargo all trade and travel with Dr_Twist until the situation is resolved and stabliity and civilisation are restored in the nation.

After fighting to restore democracy to Cr Twist the Allied States of Celtayoshi is outraged by this inhumane act. We demand that the prepetrators turn themselves in to be judged for their crimes.

Celtayoshi is deeply saddened by the death of the Royal family and the return of more bloodshed to Dr_Twist.

President Anderson was furious.

He was pacing up and down the Oval Office watched by the cabinet and the Joint Chiefs.

It was rarely that they saw him mildy annoyed, but this was something else, only once previously seen and then only by his wife and a single secret service agent in their hotel room after the first round of primaries when his opponenets had occused him of molesting a young girl. They were now serving life sentences in a variety of high security throughtout the country charged with attempted assasination and treason.

Just two months (RL) ago the very man who's head was now lying on the floor on the screen infront of him had been staying in this very house, preparing to go back to his country and regain power from the communists that had forced it from him. While not having the closest of relationships with the man, the President was still fraut at the manner of his final downfall.

Finally he looked up.

"What can we do?"

It was his cheif of staff that answered him.

"Mr President, from the political side we can rattle our sabre declare sanctions. However from the military side we can do nothing, this is an inhouse matter. We have no right to interfere in their internal political happenings."

The President coughed slightly at this

"No right? No right to avenge the death of a friend? No right to protect our nation from what appears to be an emerging militaristic nation that has one of the largest armies on earth?"

"With all due respect sir I dont think we are looking at a militaristic nation" shot back the Cheif of Staff

"God dammit they are calling their new leading a Governor GENERAL" he nearly shouted the word.

The Cheif of Staff bowed his head. Across the room the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Siler looked at his President and nodded slowly.

Anderson looked around the room in a shocked disbelief, thumping his fist into the desk.

After another minute of furious pacing he regained some of his composure and dismissed the men and women sitting around the room.

General Siler and John Haddock, head of the IHIA, were the last to leave, and on reaching the door the General turned and said

"We'll see what we can do Sir"

President Anderson nodded and returned to the seat behind his desk, still staring at the paused picture on the screen infront of him.

The Russian Government is proud to see the citizens of Dr Twist take the next step to a better society. Royals have no place in this time and should have no power at all. Dr Twist now no longer has to be controlled by a monarch which care for its own affairs rather than the nation itself.

Harlen Damien eased from his stance on the Podium at the head of the room. Though a staunch supporter of democratic reform he, as well as his fellow colleagues of the Central Directorate, knew the dangers of such abrupt political action. His duties had taken him to the scorched plains and ruined cities of many an undocumented country, destroyed for the name of political "freedom" and democratic justice. He felt that this event was something more than just a political maneuver, but he could not see clearly enough past the rage boiling inside of him.

"Another god damned Soviet style coup. If we aren't careful, this situation could drastically worsen for the poor civilians of both our nations."

Harlen shook off his angst induced daze long enough to see that Speaker Ross presented him with an ornate leather bound pad. Opening the tome, he read the sum of six hours of emergency debate: an angrily worded document of two paragraphs translated into nearly 25 separate languages. Included with the document were the signatures of 357 of the 362 Assembly Members who were present at the document's drafting, Chief Justice Orrok, and Speaker Ross all in ornately gilded Schultarian Symbolic.

"Thank you Joallan, I will give this document to Director Covey and Central Director Schultz for final review and assent. Let us hope that the Twistian government knows the near impossibility of its political situation."

The United Socialist States of Schultaria Prime shall not officially recognize the newly "Democratic" government of Dr_Twist. While our nation loves the spread of Democracy and global welfare worldwide, we only support nations who acquire Democratic liberties, ideals, and freedoms through more popular means. The callus, underhanded, and ultimately brutal acts of the Twistian Congress leave our nation to suspect that this revolution was not the product of popular discontent but of political greed.

While we would like to hand you a long and expertly worded diatribe about the ramifications of your actions, our government lacks the emotional patience required. We envision this government will degrade into a new, and infinitely more unstable, oligarchy; you will have to prove to us that your nation is truly seeking the path to democracy. Only then will we consider the possibility that your government is legitimate.

President Sutton sat in the ova office reading over some of the days intelligence and doing paperwork. Suddenly a political advisor bursts through the chamber doors.

"SIR!!!!! The Royal Family in Dr Twist has been executed by beheading. They are going to elect a new Prime Minister and Governor General.

"WHAT!! Oh god!!! Get the Secretary of State here. What are our military and political options at this time?"

"We cant do anything about it sir"

"Damn. Alert the press. Im going to issue a statement"

"Yes sir!"

The aid rushes out of the room. President Sutton pivots and looks out of the window behind him pondering what is happening. If Dr Twist goes back to communism, he cant support the new government and will be forced to bring 1 million Credonian troops back home. After thinking for a while, he straightens his tie and heads for the press room.

After reaching the press room, he sees his aid Melany Mitchellson and the press secretary yielding the floor to him. He approaches the podium and clears his throat, then looks out into the audience.

"Good evening. Moments ago, horrifying information was relayed to the Presidential Palace that the Royal Family in Dr Twist has been executed by beheading. Let it be made known that Credonia stringently and strongly condemns this execution. This is not democracy, nor is it what the allied had in mind when we came to liberate Dr Twists from the communists. Should Dr Twist once again return to communism, Credonia will NOT recognize this new government, nor will we support this nation. Credonia will pull all 1 million troops from Dr Twist without hesitation and I strongly urge our allies to do the same. Credonia has no intention to interfere in the internation relations of a soverign nation, and we have no reason to at this time. To communist and socialist nations of the world, Credonia will not hesistate to defend our ally from any attempt to return Dr Twist to communism or any attempts to invade to take advantage of this situation. Until then, will be getting in contact with the congress of Dr Twist to see just what the hell is going on over there. Thank you that is all, no questions please"

Sutton dramatically takes one final look at the audience and emotionally storms out of the room, conveying the sense of urgency and utter frustration he is feeling at this moment due to the development.

Telegram to enemies in the nation.

It is best advised that you leave Dr Twistian lands. Russia insists you do so. You can not deny the Soviet vision of Communist Europe. It will happen. With or without your demise. We of course are watching your every move and if you stand in our way, you shall feel the wrath of the Red Hammer. If you dare try to stop the creation of a socialist government, we will get involved.

Credonia and her allies have stood up to your so called "wrath". Dont think for one second that we will back down. If its war you want, then war you shall get. Credonia nor any of her allies will be intimidated by your threats. If you dont watch youreself, your threats will be met with swift and decisive action by the allies.

President Anderson has ordered all USIH citizens to leave the countries of Dr_Twist and Russian Forces. He has said that this is mearly a precautionary measure to ensure that all citizens are safe from communist aggression.

The embassador to Dr_twist has been recalled, along with most of his staff leaving only the marine guards and a scratch diplomatic team still in place.

In other news the department of defence has said that the Independence and Ocean carrier groups have been ordered to the Eastern Med to join the group already there.

After hearing this unfortunate news, Prime Minister John Brown prepared for a press statement - it was all over the news that the nation of Dr_Twist, long in instability and going through rough times, had executed the Royal Family and installed a congress-lead government. Cameras and microphones filled the room as Brown stood up to the podium and spoke loud and clearly.
We are saddened by the news received to us this morning that the region of the Balkans, ruled over by the Dr Twist empire (OOC: I know greece is AMF owned) has become, once again, unstable. It was not so long ago that we stepped in to defend the Dr_Twist government - now it seems we stand against the new illegitimate regime of said nation. I have met with my ministers of defence and the military, and we have come to the conclusion that nothing can be done as of yet. We shall wait, as the world holds its breath.
Clapping came from all over the room, as Brown left for another meeting.

Not to long ago Celtayoshi and numerous other allied nations, namely through the Ottoman Alliance helped defend the government from communism. In one strike our efforts where halted. This unfortunate incident is utterly unnecessary and as such Celtayoshi is alerting forces to move should an unfriendly government come to power. This is namely the socialist government we fought so hard keep out of power. The Ministry of Armed Forces has been detailed to move 2 carrier groups to our closest base, and keep them at AS3(See OOC note). The Air Force will be alerted similarly. We do not wish for war but will if necessary will defend freedom. Thank you."

"The Minister for Defence and Foreign Affairs is deeply concerned at the recent threat to democracy in Dr_Twist. We strongly urge the new government to respect democratic and human rights. Until such moves have been made, we must withdraw our corps diplomatique and advise all Thracian citizens to leave Dr_Twist. We pray that further atrocities can be averted, and will not be unprepared to act on those prayers."

In response to the situation the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised all citizens to leave, but they are not being forced to do so. The diplomatic team in Dr_Twist will remain, although arrangemetns are being made for their safe passage out of the country should it be necessary.

Statement From The United States Of Credonia

Credonia is relieved to hear that DT will remain a democratic nation. We will continue to monitor the situation, however, due to looming threats from outside forces, Credonian forces in Dr Twist will maintain at DEFCON 3 until further notice. Additional forces may be moved into the Credonian base in DT, but there is no indiaction that that will happen as of yet.
