It was Kirkivian day, the holiest day on the calendar for the people of the Terrellian faith, the day their savior freed them from the clutches of their evil oppressors. That day the 21st incarnation of the Almighty Terrell would walk among his subjects and heal them of their ailments. He was followed by the most holy guard. An elite squad of his body guards.
As he walked the streets of B'Haring, the capital of the Terrellian Holy Lands, he came to a woman holding a pile of blankets presumed to be a child. Without first consulting his guards he walked over to the woman and began to talk to her. He lifted up the blankets and in his dying seconds realized that what he was holding was no child, but a small bomb.
The explosion ripped through the city. Chaos ensued.

The aide had just delivered the news to General Horatio McFriez, head of Terrellian military forces.
"DAMMIT! WHY DID I JUST HEAR ABOUT THIS!?"
"Sir, it only occurred seven and a half minutes ago...We delivered the message as soon as we could."
"I want road blocks all over the city. I want guards on every road leading out of the city as well as patrols on the outskirts. No one leaves understand!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Dismissed," as the aide hurried from the room the General picked up the phone and dialed the head of international intelligence.
"Yeah, Mr. Callaghen this is General McFrieze. Yeah, its a damn shame. Get me all the information you can on this attack. I want all we've got in two hours and then set me up with a television hook up. Yes, I'm going to address the people. Thanks."
The General fell into his chair and looked at the clock. 10:43.

The General took the podium.
"My fellow Terrellians, I stand before you today as shocked and as humbled as you all. Throughout our time as a nation, never has something this monstrous occurred within our own borders.
"I feel your pain, and I know your fear. But we must realize that what has occurred here today must not happen again! Thus today, I along with ever other member of the Almighty's Highest Command have made the decision to hunt down and destroy those responsible.
"To the world: Now, in this moment of our frailty I ask you to come to our aid and help us to find these killers. They attacked our most holy symbol and will likely not hesitate to attack you as well. We must form a shield against these rogues and hold them accountable for their actions. We must tell them that we shall not bow to them! Come with me and from a new Alliance. One that is Absolute in its ways and will not fall to rogue attack. This must be done to preserve world order.
"To my fellow citizens I say this: Do not be afraid. Although these next weeks, and even months may be hard on us all we must work together to prevail. We must now, more than ever, look over our petty differences in denominations, colors, and economic status. Those are the things which will only slow our search for these devils down.
"I now make this statement: To whoever committed this indecency you will pay. You are cowards, and I challenge you to show yourselves.
"Goodnight and may The Terrell bless all of you"
