The LRRAF has recently seen it fit to replace the Su-25s in LRRAF service with Harrier GR7 MOD attack jets.

The Harrier GR7 MOD is similar to the Harrier GR7, but has the L&F RM-21 as its powerplant, which offers a higher fuel efficency, lower IR signature, and lower CO2 emissions. Also, the avionics system has been replaced with LRR equipment, and the ejection seat has been replaced by an L&F S-3 zero-zero seat, one of the best ejection seats on the market today.

The LRRAF plans to build 300 Harriers to replace the 250 Su-25s in LRR service.
