Construction of Gehenna Class SDVs Begins

The Imperial Navy announce today that the upgrades on the Deepwater superdreadnaught construction/upkeep facilities have been completed. However, that announcement was overshadowed by the announcement that construction on the six planned Gehenna class SDVs would begin. The Gehennas are ships that show their Doujin heritage, but with enough modifications to warrant them being considered new classes, at least by the Imperial Navy. Stats are as follows:

Displacement: 1,800,000
Dimensions: 981m L, 350m W, 32m D
Power Plants: 6 Modular Pebble Bed Reactors rated at 150MW each
Propulsion Arrangement: 6 high pressure water jets, four in outer hull and two in inner hull
Speed: 18 knots cruising, 32 knot conventional top speed,
Endurance: Limited to crew endurance

Crew: 6,250
Accomodations: Total of 6,500 people can be housed in one ship, accomodations variable depending on rank
Marine Compliment: 1,000
Marine Accomodations: Total of 1,100, accomodations variable depending on rank

PDI ASL-1 (Mod 1) (Short Range/CIWS Air Search/Tracking LIDAR)

OOC: We've discussed this before, SS - you aren't renaming the Class of vessel even if you are making modifications to it. That is and always has been one of the conditions to people getting a Doujin.

[Whatever man. You know it's a Doujin, I know it's a Doujin, anybody who cares to look knows its a Doujin. If someone asks, I'll say it's a Doujin. And frankly, I find it funny that you didn't object to Edolia's renaming of his ships.]

[See? It's a pro-forma thing that has nothing to do with the reality of it. It's like me calling the Concords CANs the Alexandria class, it has more to do with convenient naming than anything.]

Okay, how many does the Gehenna class carry, or were you just sloppy while plagurizing from Doujin?
