DPUO TV News
Yukos, Communist Rule's largest oil firm, is merging with MOil, DPUO's state oil company, to create a new conglomerate capable of "controlling the companies' operations worldwide with ever-greater efficiency, and maximising benefit to the consumers, while minimising cost to them also," said a spokesman for MOil earlier today. More details as they come on this breaking business story.

"MOil/Yukos have expressed interest in buying the Ottoman Khaif Oil Company. We feel that this would be a valuable addition to our already extensive reserves. Yukos, for instance, last year produced 791 million barrels of oil, and 5.95 billion cubic metres of gas, while MOil produced no less than 355 million barrels of oil and 5.3bn cubic metres of gas. We are confident that acquisition of the OKOC would allow us to expand our operations excellently, and deliver still greater value to the customer."

The ARSB's largest oil producing and refining corporation, OGI Oil Company, has announced its intent to merge with the DPUO/CR oil giant, Yukos/MOil Joint Oil Conglomerate.
The OGI Oil Company normally pumps out and refines more oil than its competitor to the north, Yukos. Barrels of oil pumped last year are estimated to be between 900 million and one billion barrels.
Company officials refused to comment.

MESSAGE! MESSAGE!
PRIORITY V!
To Yukos/MOil Conglomerate
From Tech-Com Corporation
We are interested in "sharing" our refineries with your fine corporation... You see recently we have upgraded our refineries too double the amount of oil they can process-thus doubling the amountn of gas they produce-... unfortuanantly 10 of our oil refineries are putting out the same amount of gasoline as they did before the upgrade... The reason? The same amount of oil is being put into it as before the upgrade... So if you have more oil than your refineries can handle and we will lease the remaining processing stations for... say 50,000 a month for each refinery leased. We hope we can have profitable agreements with you.
END MESSAGE!

The YMJOC has announced its intent to construct a new oil pipeline, running from the Kazakh oilfields, through Mashhad, and then terminating at the port of Karachi. The new oil line's cost was dismissed by company officials as "piffling."

Before any great talks take place, it is most likely we will only lease you the oil fields. That is, you work on them, but pay us for it. (Profit division of 60/40.) You don't make quotas, you get your license revoked. Something along those lines. Reasonable?

The growing oil company of Matraguay does not wish to merge with a multinational at this point, PetroArctura however will make a deal. We will allow your corporation to create joint production facilities on our soil allowing them 5 years of cooperation with your comgolmerate sharing the profits allowing you to recover your investment and gain profit from the region. Then we will take over full production and ask that your corporation leave the region, you will continue to be compensated for another 3 years for the amount the mean amount you were producing through our plants, except at such point you will have no overhead. Do you accept this proposal?
DontPissUsOff
09-10-2004, 21:42
Sounds perfectly acceptable. We will insist, however, upon certain provisions for the personnel operating the plants which we run:
* Adequate accommodation
* Adequate transport
* Acceptable standards of safety in the workplace
* First aid facilities and personnel
* National Insurance or some similar insurance scheme for workers
* Equality of treatment regardless of sex or race.
We will provide anything in the above list that is not available.

Our nation is mostly homogenous except for the indigenous on the inner continent we will respect the equailty of your people however many of the people in our country are not so tolerant, because of this, we suggest you send people of european or latin origin, try not to send african or asian origin. Most of the racism of our country is against the asiatic pre-Robaldian people of the inner sector and the few runaway slaves who live there, for the sake of your workers, our government will do our best to protect their rights however the wise decision would be to avoid the conflict entirely. Aside from this, we plan to build a city in the inner continent based around the mining and oil communities, it will be first world in all ways and because it is new and constructed from the ground up crime will be extremely low. Rest assured your workers will be taken care of reimbursed handsomely for their service to the nation.
