The team snuck through the night, silent as ghosts, invisible to the naked eye, their fur giving them natural camouflage. They clutched their silenced A-ARC’s and got ready to shoot if needed. Stealthfuly they reached the radar base.

Hostilities had flared up between Celack and CapAp in recent months. War seemed inevitable. Celackian spies had noticed a large concentration of CapApian forces near the border with Celack. A thorough and large scale bombing run would take them out but the bombers would be detected by a radar scan on the way in and CapAp would launch fighters and shoot down the bombers before they reached the enemy ground forces. Therefore the radar station had to be destroyed. The Kanosis team was selected to take it out.

They would be inserted 1KM from the station, sneak into the station, place the C4 charges to make sure no one could use the station, and extract to the helicopter. The mission was in the capable hands of the top spec-ops team of Celack. The Kanosis were comprised of Robert, the father and the leader, Fitzgerald, the eldest offspring and the second in command, Snowy, the second eldest offspring and twin sister of Fitzgerald, heavy weapons and demolitions specialist, Evan, the pilot, Neil, the point man, Dan, the communications specialist, the twins, Jen and Zack, rear guards, Mary, the combat medic, Geoff, the sniper, and Chris, the electronics specialist.


On the hill outside the radar installation Geoff checked the area out on his scope. He held up two fingers, pointed at the tower and then the main doorway. He pulled the trigger and a silenced shot hit the man in the tower and then the second shot hit the guard at the doorway. He raised his fist and motioned forward. The team stealthfuly descended the hill. Neil shot out all visible lights on the outside and then the team entered the building. For the first time since leaving the chopper did any of them say anything. It was Robert who broke the silence

“Listen up. The ideal place to put the C4 is in the control room, which is in the tower. Geoff you took out the man there. Did you get a good glimpse of the room?”

“No sir. I could only see the man in the tower hunched over something. I believe it was a radar screen. The room was about 50 metres square.”

“Alright people, move to the tower, place the C4 and then let’s get out of here. I have a bad feeling about this place. Move out”

The team silently ascended the stairs in the centre of the building to the tower. Fitzgerald leaned over to Snowy

“It seems to be too quiet here. For the radar installation closest to the border, two men, one monitoring the order guarding seems to be too little.”
“I know. I was so looking forward to killing some CapAp’s with my bare hands.”

“You know when you say things like that you really creep the hell out of me”

“That’s why I say those things.”

The team reached the top of the tower. Snowy started to place C4 around the room.

“Done” she said as she stood up.

Suddenly a loud crack was heard, a window shattered and Neil fell down clutching his stomach, blood streaming from in between his hands, out of the wound. Robert started to yell for the team to get down, when a second shot caught him in the chest, and knocked him to floor

Fitzgerald crawled over to his downed father. Robert began to speak

“Fitz I am not long for this world. You are the team leader noe. Lead them out of here in one piece. I see great things in you. Do not fail my vision.” Then Robert died.

o.o.c here we go. This is an open rp for one person to play CapAp. I will fill in whoever is CapAp by TG. You cannot send your own army. Any questions or comments?

Geoff crawled over to the shot out window. He popped up, located the enemy sniper and took him out with two shots. He then swept the area for more. He started firing as fast as he could at any target.

“Geoff hold fire and get down…that’s an order. GEOFF.” Fitzgerald crawled over to Geoff and knocked him down just before a hail of gunfire responded to Geoff’s shooting. The bullets missed them by mere millimitres.

“What did you see out there?”

“The hills are swarming with enemies. There are at least 200 of them. I was trying to take out as many as I could. They also have a tank.”

“Crap. All right everyone, listen up. We’re are going to exit the tower and blow it up. We are then going to get to the security room to gain access to the cameras so we can see where our enemy is. When we get there Dan will try to raise HQ and get us some back up. Any questions?”

“How did CapAp know we were coming?”

Colonel S. Wocanti made a decision. The furball freaks wouldn’t survive the next mission. Those genetically altered freaks were making the humans in his company look bad. They wouldn’t need them anymore. Added in they were just plain wrong and weird. They were an affront to nature and needed to be exterminated. Therefore his decision was to warn CapAp of the upcoming mission. The freaks would show up, think the mission was going smoothly then BANG the trap would spring and they would all be dead. His boys would be sent in to do the job properly and they would prove that the humans are superior to those furry freaks. He met his contact in a bar.

“Roomie how are you doing?” Sign
“Good. You still chasing skirts?” Counter sign
“Once a skirt chaser, always a skirt chaser” Aknoledgment.

Wocanti passed an envelope to his contact and then left the bar.

It’s funny; it was much easier to commit treason than I expected Wocanti thought to himself.

~~~~~~~The Present~~~~~~

“Fitz” Neil called out “ Mary says there’s nothing she can do for me now. I want to die and take some CapAp bastards with me. They’re going to come up here looking for us and I want to greet them with an explosive greeting, if you get my drift. Give me the detonator and go hide.”

“Neil are you sure?”

“Yes. Sno, give me the detonator.”

“Here you go, just flick the green switch to on and press the red button. Quite simple really.”

The team started to climb down the stairs. Snowy grabbed Robert’s rifle and went down while Fitz gave Neil a salute before he left.

“If you don’t blow it within 1 minute of the CapAp’s reaching the top Sno will, okay?”

“Got it.”

Fitzgerald joined the rest of the team at the bottom of the stairs. They hid themselves around the staircase are. Jenn and Zack hid in a broom closet while Fitz and Snowy hid in the darkness under the stairs. Dan and Chris hid in the mess while Mary and Geoff hid in the medical area. A few minutes after they hid themselves they heard the sound of marching troops. A squad of ten CapApian soldiers marched past their hiding places and ran up the stairs. Fitz and Snowy silently shadowed them. The first CapAp climbed up into the tower. He felt spit hit his neck. He turned around to see a Celackian psycho rabbit with a detonator in his hand. Neil yelled, “Fuck you” and then he hit the trigger. The explosion killed the CapApian trooper and Neil instantly. The tower’ roof collapsed and flaming debris fell on the stairs killing three CapAp’s. Snowy grabbed the nearest CapAp and broke his neck using him as a shield as she opened fire on the rest. Fitz grabbed her second gun, which she had dropped and opened fire himself. Elapsed time from Neil hitting the trigger to Snowy and Fitz killing the survivors of the squad: 3 seconds.

“Good job Sno.”

“Good job yourself on this and on guessing things would go FUBAR”

“Well you got to kill a CapAp with your bare hands, like you wanted to.”

Just then bullets started to crash on the wall next to them. They turned and saw that the
CapAps brought reinforcements who were streaming through the stairwell door. They returned fire with Snowy grabbing the rifle of one of the dead enemies around her. Fitz shouted in his radio.

“Now!”

The rest of the team kicked open the doors of their hiding places and began to fire into the sides of the surprised CapAps. They rushed to the stairwell and took out the ones advancing on Fitz and Snowy. Snowy walked over to a moaning body. He was wounded and has the insignia of Lieutenant on his arm.

“Listen that wound is fatal and your going to take a while to die and it will be painful. I can give you a quick relatively painless death if you tell me one thing, who gave you the information about us?”

“One of your commanding officer.”

“Well no shit Sherlock. Which one sold us out?”

“He was a colonel.”

“Now we’re getting somewhere. Which colonel set us up?”

“Colonel Wocanti”

“Thank you.”

Snowy stuck her gun to his head and fired one round, killing him instantly.

“I always keep my word. I’m not surprised that worm Wocanti tried to kill us. When I get back I will personally kill him. Fuck a trial. I’ll save the government some draggas. Fitz that was a good plan there. You managed to pull off a perfect ambush and we killed 60 CapAps from the look of things and we only lost Neil. How did you come up with that great plan?”

“I can’t take credit for it. Credit belongs to someone else. The great Celack himself. He pulled almost the exact same thing in the battle of Eteradi. It always works on CapAps because they’re trained to focus only on the objective. Now let’s make our way to the security centre.”

The team moved silently through the halls. Snowy had taken over as point (wo)man. Most of the team had rounded a corner when gunfire erupted behind them. Jen was hit and fell to the ground bleeding. Zack froze, turned around and ran around the corner yelling at the top of his lungs. He saw the CapAps who killed his twin sister and he charged them, firing wildly. He managed to hit two of them for they mowed him down in a hail of gunfire. Snowy ran up to the corner and peeked around it. She saw Zack’s body and several enemies. She ducked around the corner, stuck her guns out, and began firing blindly. She fired until the clips in both guns were empty. She stuck her head around the corner and saw a pile of dead bodies lying on the ground. She reloaded and shot out the lights, plunging the hall way in darkness. She advanced, using her superior senses of smell and hearing to locate the enemy. She smelled an enemy near her and heard him breathing. She spun around and saw a man shaped shadow right next to her. She plunged her claws into where his neck should have been. She felt blood on her hand and the body dropped to the ground. She knelt and felt around him trying to find some spare ammo when she found out that he was wearing NVGs. She put them on and saw a CapAp down the hall, raising his rifle to fire at her. He fired off a few shots at her before she grabbed her silence gun and shot him, dropping him to the ground.

~Meanwhile.~

“Sno! Snowy! Get back here.” Fitz yelled at Snowy’s retreating back as she shot out the lights and ran down the hall. He stared around in the darkness trying to see anything. He heard gunshots and a body drop.

“Shit. We have to assume Snowy is dead. Let’s continue on towards the security centre.”

They moved down the hall, saddened at the recent losses. The worst they had suffered all mission, any mission for that matter. The reached the security centre and found that the door was locked. Mary pulled out a lock pick.

“Mary, you’re a medic, a combat medic, but a medic nonetheless. Why the hell do you have a lock pick?”

“I keep forgetting my keys”

She used the lock pick and managed to unlock the door. The five of them raised their weapons and kicked open the door. Inside there was a CapAp who opened fire on them. Fitz was wounded in the arm. Chris shot the CapAp and killed him. They walked into the door. Chris ran over to the security console and began to hack the password to get control if the camera’s. Dan began to set up a radio, while Mary began tending to the wound on Fitz’s arm.

“I’ve got the security camera’s on-line. Good news! Snowy is alive and is making her way here. “

2 minutes later Snowy walked in the door.

“Hey guys what’s up?”

“We’re trying to reach Evan in the helo. He’s not responding….by the way, you did great. 15 enemy killed in shadows.”

“How the hell did you know about that?”

“The camera’s have thermal imaging.”

“Oh.”

“Wait. Look at the outside camera. Is that Evan?.”

~15 minutes ago~

Evan sat in the cockpit of the copter scanning the sky. He saw the large explosion and correctly assumed that it was the radar tower had exploded and the mission was complete. He began to warm up the engines for a fast extraction when he felt a gun barrel press against his neck.

“Get up or I shoot.”

“Fuck.”

15 minutes later he was standing in front of the radar station with it’s flaming tower. An officer was holding a pistol to his head while the CapAp were hooking up to the intercom of the base. The officer grabbed a mic and began to speak into.

“Attention Celackian Special forces. We know you’re in the building. We have captured on of your men. Surrender now or we will shoot him. We will shoot your disarmed man.”

One thing to remember. A disarmed Kanosis doesn’t mean his is unarmed.


Evan twisted his head and plunged his claws into the officer’s next. The officer’s death spasms cause the pistol to fire killing a CapAp close to Evan. He grabbed the assault rifle and a grenade. He ran to the tank firing the entire time, gunning down several CapAp’s. He jumped on top of the tank, opened the hatch and chucked the grenade down. He jumped off as it exploded. He kept firing but ran out of ammo and was shot in the head by the nearest CapAp.

“Good-bye our brother. We shall not forget you. Dan any luck on reaching HQ?”

“Not yet Fitz. Give me time.”
