OOC: Hi everyone, I am new to nationstates, just signed up. I ask that you guys take it easy on me if don't do well RP'ing, the last time I RPed wasn't made pleasent by others (eep!). If engouth people ask I will post a general info thread as I did some deep planning with my nation's history and culture as well as the racial makeup

Emperor Ryoo tse Sun III, recently elected Emperor of the Allied States of Dae Dalia was bored stiff as listened to envoy from the Kingdom of Sachkaern drone on and on doesn't these German guys ever shut up he wondered. When man finally seemed to be finished Ryoo stood up and said "next envoy!!", the man left the room and Chinese looking men entered the room ah my favorite envoys thought the Emperor happily. "Great Emperor" said the first, named Sima Tao, as he apporached the throne "The Kingdom of Wei wishes to show her respect for our common Emperor". The second, named Cao He, nodded and also spoke "In order to insure good fortune for what will be a most long and glorius reign we have brought you great majesty a gift from the barbarian lands of Skant Heloa." Sima Tao took out a black feather fan and waved it in front of him "Behold the power of Wei!!" he yelled. Suddenly a green cloud appeared in the middle of the room and a shape took form within it, the shape of a young woman "She calls herself Anna, Great Emperor" said Cao He as the green cloud began to dissipate and the young woman became more visiable. gorgeous was the only going through through the mind of Ryoo as he stared at the scantily clad slave "For me? You really shouldn't have" he said coming down from his throne. "We only wished to please our common Emperor your majesty" said Sima Tao "indeed" voices Cao He. "Hmm...." said Ryoo as he continued to stare "well that is good" Ryoo said finally "Great Empero" said Sima Tao "might I suggest that as a act of gratitude that you leave all things pretaining to the upcoming opening to the outside barbarics to Wei?" "Fine fine sure" said Ryoo as he looked back at Anna, who had started to dance nice..... he thought. Sima Tao smiled at and bowed Chinese style to Ryoo, then he motioned to Cao He and the duo left the room. "Hahahaha it worked Cao He it worked!!" he yelled "Of course it did Master Strategist, you devised the plan" said Cao He. "I know but still can't believe it worked!! now with Wei in charge of forgien affairs we begin to set the rest of plan in motion, which shall ultimately result in the toppling of Imperial Court and trimuph of Wei over the German and Arab barbarians as well as the natives hahahaha!" "It is a fine plan Master Strategist" said Cao He as the two men exited the Great Hall.

Around the world the in various goverment buildings the regular broadcasting was interrupted and the screen turned blue. a white circle with a crown in the center and writing in Chinese, Arabic, a unknown script, and German all around it appeared. "Nations of the world do not be alarmed" said a voice with various captioning for different areas "this is the only we know of to mass announce this message. At the order of his Imperial Highness, by the grace of Heaven and choice of the people Emperor Ryoo tse Sun III we wish to announce that the Allied States of Dae Dalia now opens her gates to the world, if you wish to make contact foward a message to the Imperial Forgien Affairs building in Taio et Ming, our capital, thank you" the messge then holds for five minutes and dissapears.

OOC: BUMP, come on people was I really so bad that you didn't even post?

OOC: It's not that. You hit it midrange. People can't really call you bad, but you're no hotshot. I would post IC, but first, what tech level are you?

OOC: Praise be someone called something this it not related to "you stink ya bum!" Praise be!!! Well moving on.... what are "tech levels"?

OOC: Modern, past, near-future, future, far future, or space technology. I'm Space, myself.

OOC: Well then I would have to say.... modern with some past mixed into it. It really depends I suppose on which state you would be adressing as Dae Dalia is a alliance of four states with a common Emperor, who is elected. Wei, the Chinese state, is mixture of modern and medevil for example, while Al Barsara, the Arab state, is all medevil. I would prefer that people would most interact with the Imperial Court however, rather then the states

The Government of Falastur welcomes the Empire of Dae Dalia to the International Community and wishes them well. We would like to know if you would be interested in an Embassy Exchange, and we are very interested in opening commercial and diplomatic relations with you in the near future.

However, we would like to point out that in future, we would prefer it if international broadcasts were sent in advance with a formal request to the Government of Falastur, requesting broadcasting rights. This way, we can continue our regular transmissions, assure you a prime-time broadcasting slot, and avoid throwing our own broadcasts into disarray.

OOC: Don't worry about the delay. What, with different time zones and threads being readable any time, not just when the original poster is on, its hard to get a conversation going in real time...

IC: Am Ambassadorial Delegation is being prepared for transfer to your country, and you have been assigned a villa in the Embassy District of our capital, Terila. Our Ambassador and his staff are ready to depart for your country at any time, however they would very much like it if you could send in advance some basic protocol for diplomacy in your country, so that they may fit in well and do there job most efficiently.

OOC: I have to pass on roleplaying, unless I somehow get thrust into the past. In which case, Indra will kill me :D

OOC: I will post IC later, but I am interested in forming relations because my nation is based on Imperial Japan, and yours appears to be Imperial China.

From the rules of Imperial Protocal, chapter XIII

Any formal guests or supplicants enter through the main door, unarmed and searched beforehand. This person enters with their head down low, and their bodies as well. They do not look directly at the Emperor, but would merely go to the designated place along the main walkway as designated by the officer in charge. (The closer you get to go to the Emperor, the higher your standing is.) You would then bow, and chant the perfunctionary salutation (Hail his most glorius Imperial Majesty) and stay down until the Emperor gives permission for to rise slightly. Even then, you can not stand straight, but be still in that position, but you can raise your head slightly to look the Emperor at the eye.

If at any time the supplicant or the Emperor wants pass things on to each other to peruse (Gifts, maps, documents, etc etc.), it is done by passing it through two or three attendants along the way. Furthremore, the supplicants must address the Emperor by title "Choice of Heaven and the People" or their reign name. Note that addressing them by their pre-reign name can, and is a justificiable cause for execution.

When the audience has been concluded, the supplicant may only leave with the permission of the Emperor. To leave on their own accord can mean death. When exiting, the supplicant must exit the same way he entered- always facing the Emperor, and with a bowed back. To show your back to the Emperor is also another justifiable excuse for death

Having thoroughly read up on the protocol of your nation, the delegation has now been dispatched to Dae Dalia post haste. As to whether and how often they are granted an audience with your Emperor, that is up to you.
