Mississippi Issues Ultimatum to UWA

Communist Mississippi

From: Foreign Minister Paul Stahlecker.

To: "The chief tribal Negroid of Unified West Africa"

"We are giving you 48 hours to extradite, to Mississippi, all of the terrorists from your nation who operated in Hogsweat against our forces under the guise of being mere 'advisors'. Also, we are demanding you halt your war of aggression against the peaceful Senegal. We demand that you withdraw all of your forces back into UWA proper. Furthermore, we are demanding the sum of one trillion (1 trillion) USD be paid to Mississippi for the following

Approximately 6,000 CM unarmed and mostly wounded soldiers massacred as they were attempting to surrender to the Hogsweatian guerillas on the day Firebase Fabus fell.

Approximately 9,000 CM POWs died on the 100-mile long death march from the Firebase to the POW camps, which turned out to be horribly inadequate. Under the Geneva Convention, POWs must be provided adequate medical care, food, water, supplies, and transportation to the POW camps which themselves must be adequate facilities. The camps were designed for fewer than 500 POWs each, but each camp held no less than 2,000 POWs.

Approximately 5,000 CM POWs massacred under the orders of your advisors in the prisoner of war camps in Hogsweat.

Approximately 2,500 CM aircraft shot-down by weapons of destruction that your nation provided to the guerillas during the siege of Firebase Fabus. Many of the pilots were killed as the guerillas shot at them while they were in parachutes after they had ejected from their craft. This is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention and all accepted rules of war.

The massacre of over 400 Civilian contractors at the Firebase the day it fell. These were Private Military Corporation employees who were unarmed and were there as engineers.

The rape of over 40 white female nurses by mongoloid guerilla forces. The approximately 40 white female nurses that were in the firebase when it fell all reported being repeatedly raped by Asiatic barbarians.

The loss of the Firebase itself. The base cost over 5 billion dollars in equipment and supplies.

The loss of over 60 CM paratroopers in the city of Beting. These men were killed in cold blood; some were even attempting to surrender. Their heads were removed from their bodies and then were put on display for the international media. (End list)

To conclude, we are forced to admit that UWA is indeed an aggressor nation. We must also conclude therefore that the list of grievances we have against UWA is as endless as are the grains of sand in the Sahara. It is impossible to put into one letter, all the wrongs that Unified West Africa has done to the peaceful, loving, generous, and tolerant nation of Communist Mississippi. We in Mississippi are not a warlike people, but even we have our limits."

Signed Paul Stahlecker, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

P.S. You have 48 hours.

OOC: Guys, just say if you have anything worked out that I'll foul up. Otherwise, with all the Cold War-style stuff, I'd jump in on UWA's side.

IC: We have nothing but contempt for the demands of CM, and for the criticisms made of UWA. UWA's people were defending the rights of a free people to remain free from the yoke of Nazi imperialism, and did so well. We are honoured to have had a small part in their victory.

For the Mississippians to decry the Africans for rape, pillage and massacre is beyond ridiculous. You are guilty of those crimes on a far far more massive scale, and your intervention in the affairs of another nation's peoples was in any case the cause of your defeat.

We offer support to UWA at this dark hour. Do not fall to the Nazi hordes of night! Let wrath and righteous andger rage, let hate boil in a wave; the people's war, the sacred war, we fight until the grave!

OOC: Again, just tell me if this isn't OK.

Hey we already talked about that, I said I didn't want involved in it, you said that was fine.

Ooc- Anyway, these aren't real demands, this is just CM blowing more hot air to agitate our latest cold-war style enemy... UWA.

Ooc- Currently CM is going to bat for Senegal to stop UWA aggression.

Ic- Our intentions are not aggressive our imperialistic. We just felt the need to help Africa for a change. And what better way to help it than by stopping an enemy at the same time?

CM, displacing the local people, shoving them into a fringe of Libya, and doing other crap like that does not constitute as helping Africa.

Point taken, Ultimatum retracted.

To answer Communist Mississippi's demands, this ultimatum cannot or will not be met. The idea that our security forces, acting in an advisory capacity, had any chain of command control over Hogsweatian guerilla forces is not only incorrect, it is a willful lie. Even if this were true, we would not extradite anyone, least of all our own soldiers, to a state where no semblance of a fair trial might be expected.

Furthermore, the characterization of Hogsweatian weapons as Weapons of Mass Destrution is also patently false. Our goverment admits that surface to air missiles were provided to guerilla forces who used them to great effect, but all of these used conventional warheads (the idea of a WMD warhead for an SAM is ludicrous for many practical reasons). While these may indeed have caused mass destruction to CM's airforce, their incompetance can hardly be construed as our own fault.

Thirdly, the war in Senegal was a direct result of Senegalese aggressive posturing, and we remind the world community that Dakar made the first strike. Our government made repeated overtures towards a peace without occupation or humiliation, a peace eventually accepted by the Senegalese government, which white Mississippian mercenaries promptly deposed. The aggressor, the REAL aggressor in this instance, should be abundantly clear. It should also be noted that the Senegalese government in exile is allowed to run in UWA territory with no hindrance of any sort.

The concluding quote should demonstrate all that needs to be said about the legal, moral, and factual bankruptcy of this ultimatum to anyone who has been paying attention: "We in Mississippi are not a warlike people, but even we have our limits."

Again, we encourage UWA to do no such thing. CM is clearly an aggressive nation, aiming to spread its' racist policy throughout the globe, be it under the cover of "gaining living space" - or should we say lebensraum? - or "liberating" the people of Senegal. Given the style of "liberation" that CM is known to have given in the past, we encourage the UWA Government all the more to protect the Senegalese people, both from the aggressive elements within their nation and the white-supremacist policies of CM.
