The Binthorian Navy has seen the need to build lighted armed Fleet Command Ships. These will be lightly armed with naval guns, but will have mounts for a limited number of cruise and anti-aircraft missles. I am thinking of the following, but if any shipbuilders have objections to what I am thinking of, give me your opinion. These are just my ideas and I still need a shipbuilder to build the model ship and come up with specs.
1-2x 8-inch/55-cal (203-mm) Major Caliber Lighteight Guns Mk 71
4-6x 5-inch/38-cal (127-mm) Guns Mk 28
possibly 3-inch guns instead?
?#x 20-mm/76-cal CIWS Mk 16 "Phalanx" or possibly "Goalkeepers"
?#x ASROC
?#x AAAM and/or AMRAAM
Mk 41 29 Standard/Tomahawk/VLA ?
Mk 143 4 Tomahawk quad ?
Standard-ER SM-2 RIM-67B ?
The ship also needs advanced RADAR, SONAR, electronic warfare systems, and fire control systems.
Again, if you have any advice on additions or deletions, change to more advanced equipment, or this just being a godmod, please tell me, because I am not a shipbuilding expert.
