Hurricane George to hit Larogera.....fierce winds, unpredictable path...
Larogera

A hurricane forming in the Crystal Sea south of Larogera and the Centrist Shattantanium Region is expected to make its way through the Centrist Shattantanium Region, hitting Western Larogera first.
Expected Path- The hurricane is supposed to hit Western Larogera on Monday and leave Larogera for the Cove in which it will hit up to 20 populated islands: Green Cove Island, Captiva Island, Sanibel Island, Lawron Island, Gordon Island, and Fischer Island are some of the biggest. Evacuation has been ordered for Western Larogeran beach cities such as Shattantanium Beach, Fischer Beach, and Brawian Beach.
Radar- Unlike other countries, the radar here is based on certain MPH. If it is less than 100 mph, it is a 'tropical storm'. If it is over 100 mph it is reffered to as a 'Tropical Hurricane'. If it is over 150 mph it is then considered a Hurricane. Most recently has this happened to George.
If it is under 80 mph, it is considered a depression.
Hurricane George is the name and here is the history (system track) of the hurricane:
Stage 10- HURRICANE 167 mph George W. LRA to Green Cove Isles
9- Tropical Hurricane 148 mph George W. LRA to Green Cove Isles
8- Tropical Hurricane 120 mph George S.W. LRA to Crystal Sea
7- Tropical Hurricane 101 mph George S.W LRA to Green Cove Islands
6- Tropical Storm 99 mph George S. LRA to Crystal Sea
5- Tropical Storm 95 mph George S. LRA to Crystal Sea
4- Tropical Depression 79 mph No-Name S. LRA to N.LRA
3- Tropical Depression 75 mph No-Name Crystal Sea Path
2- Tropical Storm 98 mph George To N. LRA
1- Thunderstorm Forming... 45 mph No-Name To N.LRA
Prediction
Meterologists predict that big damage will be provided. The storm is classified as a 'spiral' hurricane, as it moves in a spiral direction. It may change its path by Monday for the latest, but then it will move into Count Ivy (the country). Deputy of Intelligence Gordon A. Fischer has ordered millions to evacuate and move east. Another tropical depression at 77 mph is forming in the Crystal Sea. Hurricane season goes from mid-August to early-January, but only in 1996 and 1945 has hurricanes actually touched land in late-November.
Cold Hurricane
Very rarely has a hurricane hit after October, because it becomes 'colder'. A cold hurricane is a depression that forms in the Crystal Sea around September and stays in one place for quite a long time, building up. It also gets used to a temperature such as 54 degrees (in Fahrenheit) and it becomes colder when it reaches land. Temperatures can be as low as 30 degrees, and winds have never been stronger than 80 mph. Usually, the rain would freeze and become a blizzard or a snow-storm, but in this case, it is rain.

The government of FC has authorized the deployment of 250 Immortals from the military for humanitarian aid for Larogera. If this help is needed, a transport ship loaded down with medical supplies and food will be deployed from Herberze (R-Colony 755). Please feel free to contact us if help is desired.

A large ship seems to hyperplane through the water 300 miles off the coast of Larogera. Admiral Henry Kochker stands at the bridge, peering through his smoked lenses. As the sky rapidly becomes an omnious coat of onyx, he removes the azure tainted glasses. "Captian Freidrick," announces Kochker, for the Captian before being elevated to Captian status, specialised in Weather Analysis, "What is your prediction?"
"Well, it appears to be a Stage 2 Hurricane by Fascian standards, but according to the Larogera ranking system it's ten."
"I guess they don't get as many hurricanes as we do in Herberze, yabole?"
"Aye, yabole."
With that, lightning flashes begin to increase as they quickly draw nearer to the harbor, ready to unload the humanitarian assistence.
"90 knots Amiral...," Echos out from behind Kochker...
IDF freighter USS Edmund Fitzgerald is loading up with Iron Ore off Sanibel Island. While her master has some concerns he thinks his ship can whether the storm, even though he will cross paths with it 30 hours after leaving port according to suggestions. He expects his 26,000 ton load to help his ship weather the storm.

OOC: given the ship I'm using you can probably guess what will happen.
Emergency transport aircraft have been dispatched to the area to ferry evacuees and their possessions. Most of the aircraft are C-130s, although a few other unarmed aircraft are also included. They are requesting permission to land so that they can assist Larogeran citizens.
OOC: who wants to guess what will happen to my freighter, the 'Big Fitz' given the name of it. (those familiar with the Great Lakes should know this one)
OOC: *Starts humming "The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"*.

The large HAV ship docks into an extremely large docking area on the Larogera mainland. Uboard the deck of the ship is two extremely large Axiom class bombers/transport/drop aircraft catapult v. The strangely constructed ship's bow seems to separate from the vertex. Several large 18-wheeled mobile hospitals unload, along with 250 Immortal class soldiers bearing the Fascian Flag, and a red cross.
After unloading, the troops and medical personel create a base camp in an un-used loading bay and warehouse 100 meters from the HAV, each preparing for the worst...
isnt that the one that disapeared in the Great Lakes version of the Bermuda Triangle?

Thousands of Larogerans from the populated islands are transfered on boats to the mainland as the hurricane moves towards the island of Larogera. All cities on the west coast are ordered for evacuation.
Hurricanes Steps
Stage 11- HURRICANE 170 mph George S. LRA to Green Cove Islands
Stage 10- HURRICANE 167 mph George S. LRA to Green Cove Islands
Evacuation- Green Cove Island, Captiva Island, Sanibel Island, Lawron Island, Gordon Island, Fischer Island, Count Ivy Island, Veganican Isles (10 islands), Green Island, Sints Island, Lopi Island, Brawian Beach, all W. Larogeran cities, towns, villages, all of W. Environmental Park= 20 million people
We are asking everyone who is willing to help Larogera to help evacuate all these 20 million people within the next day. The hurricane is expected to hit around 10 A.M. Monday and is so slow, it will not leave until about 12 P.M. the next day. Meteorologists expect the hurricane to be 150-170 mph.

ALERT! Larogera has been taken by storm
Larogerans who've been evacuated have been 'mortally tricked' according to Deputy of Intelligence, who declared the whole country 'under attack by nature'. Over 2 million citizens were evacuated from every island and W. Larogeran beaches, but the Larogeran east coast has been taken by storm. The Larogeran military quickly evacuated all citizens as almost 200 mph winds took the country by storm.
Those injured were airlifted to hospitals in Shattantanium. Electricity has gone out for miles, and at least 2 people have died already in the deadly winds that took place. All meteorologists predicted that the storm would scatter around the Western side of the country, but it has taken cities like Belkin Beach by storm. The city of Belkin was evacuated, and prized possesions were evacuated as well. The hurricane is now forecasted to move from S.E. Larogera up to Northern Larogera, making a sharp turn. It is likely that this hurricane will circle around Larogera such as the 1990 storm, Ramona in which circled around Larogera a record 3 times. Ramona was expected to come inland, but actually circled the country.
"After what happened with Ramona, I am not taking my chances", Gordon A. Fischer said.
Ramona killed 4,567 people, and Belkin Beach (called Shattantanium Beach in 1990) was hit a record 3 times by the same hurricane, in which became a Stage 20 at 210 mph.

Hurricane George changed its path once again and has continued to be a Stage 11 hurricane, but has changed its path:
Stage 11- HURRICANE George 200 mph Green Cove Islands to Count Ivy-Tyianica
Here is a report from Channel 4:
Unfortunately, Hurricane George crashed into the Tyianica festival, causing an uproar of scared citizens all around Centrist Shattantanium. Ivy, the mayor of Tyianica and ruler of Count Ivy, speaks out to this strange and unplanned happening.
"I am shocked that our meteorologists could not see that this was happening. But still, I guess they can't be blamed. Wait a darned second, YES THEY CAN! I mean, they do go to college to learn how do predict the weather, right? Well, they just read off of a teleprompter! And the map behind them is actually a green screen. I say we have the current cast of Channel 4's team suspended from work for 10 days. That is all, and I am Ivy, mayor of Tyianica, and ruler of Count Ivy. Back to you, Karen."
For the injuries, there were no deaths, and an estimated 23 injured residents. Fortunately, nobody was severly hurt. From Channel 4's Journalism section, I am Karen Boboskadeetindootinwitch, and have a great day, Tyianica!

That was the report from Channel 4's Karen B.
The hurricane is expected to change its path again, and the whole country of Larogera has been ordered to come inland. Citizens in the country were confused because they didn't know where the hurricane was to go.
