Over eight million people showed up to see off the Blätterschplitt, the first of Edölia’s five new Doujin/E class dreadnaughts. The Impërator himself broke the bottle of champagne on the massive hull, sending the Scarlet Armada’s largest ship on its way in the age-old fashion. The Blätterschplitt will be joined over the next year by its four sister ships, named after the other four administrative districts in the Empire. The Gërburg will be the second ship constructed and will be launched later this year, followed by the Tetelburg, Axackal and Yasmarea.

The licenses to produce the Doujin and other Doujinshi Corporation ships were purchased in a treaty years ago between the Scarlet Empire and its close ally, Doujin. The Doujin class dreadnaughts are world-renowned as almost certainly the greatest ships ever to be built.”---

The Republic of Ancient Terra congratulates the great nation of Edolia on the completion of their first Doujin/E, and hopes that this vessel will serve our ally as well as other vessels of this class have served us.

Admiral Yamato Ishida, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, sends a message from his flagship, the Doujin Mk.II ATN Kamiya. He wishes the Blätterschplitt a good voyage, and says that he would be proud to fight alongside such a vessel with the Scarlet Navy.

Today, we are ready to commence deployment of two Cowdery Class aircraft carriers and the Predator-class battleship (USS Nevada) into the Province of Hestonia (former East Phyrric). They will be carrying 300 Ann Coulter Mark III aircraft.
We hope the arriveal of the ships will not be misinterpreted.

My eyes pratically popped out of their eye sockets after reading the Doujin class stats.

A battleship 3/5 mile long? :eek: Gun barrels longer than some whole naval ships. Three hulls. Carrying 160 aircraft. 1.4 million tons empty, and nearly 2 million tons loaded.

I wonder if my nation would ever be able to purchase and field such ships when our budget is larger. Certainly it would make a fine peace-time vessel through sheer intimidation of potential invaders.

She will patrol the North Haven Strait, enforcing USR territorial waters and UnAPS policy regarding the strait.

I gave Edolia the IC permission to build ships, and I don't recall ever giving you IC aproval although I'll let that slide because I did give you OOC approval, at least I believe I did. Edolia's shipyards were built by Doujinshi Corporation, so they are world class facilities, and this all happened over two weeks OOCly before you even made your first post @ UnAPS Trade whatnot forums.

I just said that they wouldn't be launched at exactly the same time because it would be unreasonable that something so large and powerful would be built EXACTLY according to schedule.>>

OOC: What I said was, "That's fine im just lazy posting" - that does not necessarily mean approval - also, Edolia got the go ahead the 7th of July, that post could/would be the go ahead the 23rd, so either way there is no way you could get the ships before him heh
