Captain John Quinn stepped off the helicopter, Stood back and watched it depart. A cigarette hung from his mouth, he took one last drag, dropped it and then stepped on it. He looked around. What the hell, he though as he looked around and saw dinosaurs. What has the world come to he thought. He wore his camoflage pants and his t-shirt tucket in, his camoglage jacket unbuttoned showing his shirtand he he had a 5 o'clock shadow. He walked up to an officer gave a sloppy salute and said, what are those thing motioning to the raptors. " There the Siesatians. There population is only 20% human and 80% raptor. " Oh"
He then walked away into a building and asked to see the Siesatian commander. The secratary said wait a minute.

The siesatian commander sat at his desk, listening to an audio message sent from the president himself. "Your gonna have soem liason officer coming over, don't worry about him, just keep him out of the control areas." Yes sir, he said. And the message shut off. "Sir, the liason officer is here to see you." "Send him in." he said impatiently, The man walked in. "I have very little patience for you, I lost three very close friends in this battle, they didn't die from the crash, but were hung from a church, it didn't matter to you that they were human, did it?" "To me, you are a spy, nothing else, the only reason you are here, is because my superiors want you to be. If I catch you with a toe out of line, you'll find your self in some very deep water. Catch my drift?"

He took off his jacket and showed him the place where a piece of shrapnel was imbedded and on his arm was a tatto that said Cherry Ridge Army then had a cross and a spear inthe middle and then below that said guerrilla forces . "been there since 1992 i was also captured and tortured so a cell is nothing for me"
He turned to leave but then turned around and said "Rumors are your a dud in bed" Then he walked out.

"Shrapnel is easily extracted, I was hit in the jaw by armor piercing rounds, went right through, I have all three in that box if you care to look, almost bled to death, I had to walk 20 miles in the blazing sun, without water, and a fractured leg, humans are frail creatures, easily dispatched. Not that I have anything against you."

Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmac walked into the room as soon as the Cherry Ridge liason officer, Captain John Quinn had left. She had been waiting just outside the room, so she had heard the verbal sparring between Quinn and the Siesatian officer. "Well, you two seemed to be getting along just fine" she joked as she extended her hand to the Siesatian. "My name's Claire Delmac," she said as they shook.

OOC: Siesatian, how long do you anticipate that we will be occupying this island?

"My name's Athos Fedrics", the Siesatian said. "So, I hear that you're from the Colonial Intelligence Service." "Actually, I'm from the Office of Naval Intelligence", she corrected. "Bah," Athos Fedrics complained, "in my opinion, you Colonials have far too many intelligence branches for your own good. I mean, perhaps a few are fine, but it seems like your people just went overboard with intelligence services and agencies and commissions all over the place. Have you thought about merging some of them?" Delmack began to explain the benefits of the increased intelligence compartmentalization the Colonial intelligence community had when her PDA went off. Excusing herself, she pulled it out from behind her uniform jacket and activated its video-phone mode. "Lieutentant Delmack here" she said. The face of the Colonial base AI appeared on the PDA. The AI computer core for the base had just been installed yesterday, with the AI herself transferring in from an embassy assignment with the Department of Foriegn Affiars. "I'm sorry to interupt you, but the liason officer from Cherry Ridge is here now waiting for you" she said, her bright blond hair contrasting deeply with the blue backround she was set against. "Alright, I'm on my way" Delmack told the AI, and flipped the PDA shut. "I'm sorry Mr. Fedrics," she said as she put the PDA back into the belt, "but Captain Quinn of Cherry Ridge is waiting for me at my office." They exchanged a quick goodbye as Delmack went out the door and into the waiting Humvee with her driver, a young private with the Colonial Army waiting for her. Delmack directed him to drive back to the Colonial HQ, and he immedately set the humvee roaring down the road.

Colonel Bates walked into the Commander's office and was surprised to see what seemed like a fully grown dinosaur sitting behind the desk. He quickly caught himself and snapped a salute. "Colonel Antonio Bates reporting" He couldn't decipher the strange cluster of insignias and rank bars on the thing's uniform and didn't know what to address it as. "At ease Colonel. I am Athos Fedrics, and I am in command of the Siesatian forces here. Your quarters are down that hall and to the left. If you will please take this and look inside." Athos said as he handed the Colonel what seemed like a small monocular. "What does it do?" The Colonel asked, hesitant to put somthing offered by a dinosaur to his eye. "It will scan your retinas and transmit that information to the central AI for ID purposes. That way only you can open your door, among other things. Keyless entry in a sense." "Ah" Said the Colonel as he put the small cylinder to his eye, obviously relieved that it would not fry his brains. The small deviced whirred and clicked once, and the Colonel tossed it back to Athos. He caught it between is two foreclaws and held it there for a second. "Do try and be careful with that. That will be all. Dismissed" The colonel left the room sweating.

Athos sat at his desk when the DC liason walked in, "Making friends?" Delmac asked jokingly. "No, not lately." he said abrubtly. Delmac had heard that most Siesatians were fun loving, not as serious as this one was. "Let me frank, I have very little patience for humans, many are shallow and refuse to see more than one side of an issue, however, I have heard good things of you and your countrymen, and I have stationed you in section four, its one of the few buildings we've erected that should have power, air conditioning. I've granted you full security clearence, don't make me regret it." "Yes sir" Delmac said, trying to get out of the sight of the stoic commander. "Despite what you may believe, I do believe the human race has a lot of hope, I understand you joined ISEC, 50 billion dollars a year is no pocketchange, but it is not th money I like your country for, but for your bravery and skill in battle versus an enemy that greatly outnumbered you." "Sir?" "Dinners at 6:00, I believe its fish, however, the cooks tonight are not our contriution, one mentioned a delacacy?" "Yessir, Fresh barbeque fish, slow cooked." "Your dissmissed." Delmac stepped outside the office to talk with the secratary, five minuites later, he looked in to see the commander snoring on his table. "He's asleep." he said to the secratary, "Yes, 100 years of nonstop work does that to you." she said, he walked off, '100 years, gotta suck to work the same job for that long' he thought, 'no wonder he's such a crank.'

The Captain grew impatient waiting and walk into the DC commanders office and left a note that said.
" Ill be back later. Find me better quarters, lizard man put me in a jail cell"
Captain Quinn walked out a took in the air. He decided to go get changed into his dress uniform to go visit the monks. He go changed and walked out. It was blue jacket with red pants. His hat was crimson with 2 yellow stripes. His sword dangled from his left side. It was silver. He had shaved. He had a silver line down both sides of his pants. He had 22 medals on his chest and around his neck hung the medal of glory ( same as the US medal of honor).
His belt glimmered in the light, so did all his brass. A pistal
hung from his right in a leather holster and he wore a scapular on the outside.In his pocketswere a crucifix, cross, holy water bible, and cigarettes. He went over to the monastary. A guard said he wasnt allowed in. He said he was the liason from Cherry Ridge. "Im going to mass" he said.
The guard refused. captain Quinns fists cleched. He walked back to the office of the Siestian commander and asked if he was alowed in and asked for a paper allowing entrance.
"Some wise guy wouldnt let me in the monastary to go to mass." " I want to get in, the Cardinal recieved word the the monks would let me in."

"He was mistaken, I said it the begining that it would be sealed off, My superiors clearly stated that noone would enter it, and that extended to you and your monks. This is clearly a security precaution. Besides, who would you go to mass with, noone else is gona be there, I am authorising this ONE chance to go to the mainland for you religious practices, but don't press your luck on any further." The old commader said, after being woken at his desk.

"Hello, siesatian liason office, Rebeca speaking."
"This is Cardinal Devito, leader of Cherry Ridge"

"And I'm Hitler, well, no, you would be, anyway, I have no time for prank phone calls."
"THIS IS NOT A PRANK, PUT ME THROUGH TO THE CHIEF LIASON OFFICER NOW!!"
"Fine." she said, connecting him to the main office."
"Hello, George Tinuviel, chief liason officer."
"YOUR GODDAMNED OFFICER PUT MY MAN IN PRISON, AND WON"T LET HIM GO TO MASS."
"What officer, I will streaighten him out."
"Thats better, his name is Athos Fedrics."
"Oh, athos, he doesn't report to me, let me put you through to Chief of Staff."
His call was transferred.
"Chief of staff, larry Brundweist speaking."
"I need help concerning an Athos Fedrics."
"Athos doesnt report to me, I'll put you through to the Head of the seanate."

"Captain Terrace of the freestar."
"YOUR THE SHIP THAT DESTROYED MY CITIES!!!"
"One sec, I'm putting you through to the president."

"President Drake Rille, Whats so urgent Cardinal?"
"My liason officer is living in a cell, and your liason officer won't let him go to mass in the island monestery."
"I know."
"YOU KNOW!!!????!!"
"Yes, I get hourly updates on the progress of the island, I understand he has been granted clearence to go to the mainland once."
"Yes..."
"That should be enough, as for the cell, right now there are not many good buildings operational, the cell is just a temporary thinng, now... good night to you."
"FINE!" he said, and pulled out some of his thinning hair.

The Cardinal boarded the plane and arrived. Captain Quinn ran out and met him. They both walked into the office bulilding and barged into the office of athos fedrick. " You little God forsaken lizard. You are a liar, the other liasons were put in decent buildings.
Athos just sat there grinning. The Cardinal slapped atops and said. " You put my soldier in a decent building NOW and you let him in the monastary, alien."
"He then muttered "devils soulmate"

"I should kill you where you stand, You have gotten your responce from the president I understand, I can not overrule the PRESIDENTS, AND an old friends wishes and will. THOSE buildings are for the allied representative, now leave before I have you forcibly removed, maybe thrown into the ocean to swim back ashore?"
"AND IF I REFUSE? YOU DISCUSTING LIZZARDS DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE THE LIFE GOD HAS GIVEN YOU!!"
The commander leaned down to a box with a red button on it.
"Security, the cardinal is trusspassing on Allied soil, and threatening an officer, Show him the way out."
"Yessir!" came the responce. Two guards pulled out from their hoisters two very leathel looking guns. "Come with us."
"NOT UNTILL I GET WHAT I CAME FOR!!" The guards grabbed him by the arms and pulled him towards the plane he had come from. When one of them spoke to him.
"Sorry Cardinal, Athos suffers from the final states of Malincianial Disease, and the President wanted him to have one final mission before he retired. We think he won't be around here much longer."
"So he's gonna die?"
"Eventually, but he will have his personality, memory, everything about him degrade until theres nothing left but an empty shell, and then the heart forgets to pump blood, and the lungs forget to pull in oxygen, one of the worst ways to go."
"Good." he said leaving.

OOC: Okay, I'm a bit confused. Could someone explain the layout of the island to me? I thought at first that we had seperate compounds, but are we just all in the same base just with different offices?

And don't worry Rastabastatopia, I'm sure we can find a way to keep Bate's busy while you're gone.

the island is small, with a mountain in the middle on which resides the monestery. We have constructed the first compound, it is the DC compound, and the Siesatia Compound is next, it will be on the other side of the island. And will be shielded, and contain a landing strip.
Everyone please post a description of your base.

This is a major security onsern, if your monks somehow smuggle weapons inside, and decide to attack, with or without your concent, people could be killed, and then there are the explosives they could get in. We cannot allow this.

ooc- Thats what happins in iraq, the monks arm themselves heavily, and go killing US soldiers. The monks can start to farm or something. We just cannot allow them to even risk getting their hands on C4 or some dirty bomb.

I will consult my allies, but I really cant allow them, if I do, i will have to allow others to enter, and then security precautions are totally blown out the window. And catholic monks in the middle ages were some of the fiercest guerilla fighters, trust me I read abotu it. They would go in, incite a rebellion in gods name, and lead an attcak.

The Colonial compound is positioned right on the coast of the island, with a small docking facility. The base has multiple radars, as well as a small number of mobile anti-air and anti-ship missile launchers. The launchers are all simply trucks / armoured vehicles fitted with limited capacity launchers, but have been placed in various areas around the compound. On the compound is also a small office structure, a small warehouse, a field hospital, living quarters, a building housing the AI computer core for the Colonial compound, and a small airstrip with hanger that houses a pair of VIP transport aircraft, and a single V-22 Osprey. Discussions are ongoing as to whether the airstrip should be majorly expanded to accept a fighter squadren, but that is extremely unlikely at this time. Security is provided by a high-strength chain link fence that surrounds the compound, as well as higher strength concrete walls in some areas that face the sea and a platoon of 36 Colonial soldiers. The barracks of the security detachment is integrated with the building that houses the compound AI, to provide a constant security presence for it. The various office staff assigned to support Lieutenant Delmack, as well as the compound cooks, dentist, doctor, radar operators, drivers for Lt. Delmack, etc. total to less than 30 people.

OOC: Is that too big or too small?

ooc-2 monks just died. The rest buried them and exited. The are going to live on the beach until you guys leave.
ic- Captain Quinn noticed the monks. What a shameful world making men of peace leave there home. There war there brown, wool habits.They wore whiye cords arounf there waist and rom them dangled there rosary and a knife for eating. They wore sandals and thats it. They set up camp and then started to walk the roads chanting in latin. Al throughout the island. Some raptors were heard complaing "what and aweful noise."

Hmm... I'm not really sure about the whole Monk thing. What kind of supplies do they need in the monastary anyways? If it's just food and similarly harmless materials, perhaps we could send it up to them. A Cherry Ridge transport vessel could drop off the supplies with either me or Siesatia, we would then look them over and inspect them for contraband, and send it up to the monks if they are what they appear to be.

EDIT: I would approve of the monks moving back into thier monestary if they would agree to these conditions.

The monks then looked up at what used to be the monastary. They had lit it aflame so that the soldiers wouldnt desecrate it.
The Captain walked up to a monk and said '' they wouldnt allow me to go to the monastary for mas, but now i can go to the beach and have it"

Sirens rang thruout the Siesatian compound, smoke rose from the monesterry. "Get fire control squads up there on the double" yelled the commander. The bombers rose from the landing strip, and sucked water in their Ram scoops, and flew off towards the monestery, which now had been consumed in flames. Water poured down onto the flames, puting out most of the fire, as they flew off to get some more.
The flames were put out, but the dammage had been dont, the entire roof had burnt down. "The monks probobly died in that fire, inform the government, and send them any information of what happined.

OOC- now we have no idea where the monks are, better RPing.

"Well.... I guess that confirms it. People from Cherry Ridge are nuts" said Sergent Fred Thorsman as he watched the monestary burn. "So you're sure you saw a monk start that fire?" the sergent asked the private next to him. "Yes sir, they started the fire themselves" repeated the private, as Siesatian bombers dumped water onto the flaming structure. "Well then, Lieutenant Commander Delmack's going to want to hear about this" said Sergent Thorsman, as he activated his radio and told the base AI what happened.

OOC: My troops were keeping a discreete eye on the compound.

"Lieutenant Delmack," interupted the base AI, "I'm sorry to intrude on your meal, but the Cherry Ridge monastary has badly burnt in a fire". A confused Delmack turned to face the LCD screen mounted on the side of her dining room as the AI disappeared from the screen to be replaced by a live video feed of the monastary. Delmack had been having lunch with Colonel Bates from Rastabastatopia when the she was informed of the fire. "What was the source of the fire?" asked Delmack, as the AI cut out the upper left half of the video feed so she herself could fit onscreen. "Troops onsite say that the fire was started by a monk of Cherry Ridge" reported the AI. "That's odd." commented Colonel Bates. "Why would they burn down thier own monastary?" he asked. "Unknown." replied the AI. The video feed on screen shook around a bit as it was being transmitted by a Colonial soldier near the monastary. Suddenly, Captain Quinn, the liason officer from Cherry Ridge appeared in the feed, aiming a gun at the soldier. "Activating audio feed", quickly said the AI. "Hello sir. The Siesatians have already put out the.. ah... fire, so there's nothing to worry about..." nervously said the soldier. Captain Quinn seemed to ignore the soldier though, and simply raised his gun and pointed at the soldier's chest. He fired a single round, and the view from the view feed tumbled as the soldier went down.

In a bold move, the Cherry Ridge liason assasinates a high ranking DC officer, he was pronounced Dead on the Scene.
suddenly someone with a paper runs out onto the screen, hands it to her, and runs off.
"Oh my god, ladies and gentlemen, we have recieved word, that Athos Fedric was just shot by the same officer that killed the DC officer. He is being flown to a medical centre in orbit around the planet. No word on his condition, we only know that it was an older pistol that shot him, and that he is alive. Athos Fedrics was the chief Liason officer, and has three children, and two grandchildren."

OOC: Wait, you didn't mean that Lieutenant Delmack was shot, did you? Because I can write that up if you want, I just thought that you shot someone else since you said that Quinn had "Shot him in the heart" and Delmack is a she.

The monks looked up at there former monastary. The DC soldiers knew. They wondered what to do and decided to walk into town and say why they did it.
One brother stood up when they got to town and said. We did it so you wouldnt desecrate the monastary. Then Quinn ran up to a monk. Ive been excommunicated and pulled a gun on them. GET BACK he yelled. One monk took out his knife and slashed the hand of John Quinn the others knocked the gun out of his hand and then brought him over to a Group of Siestian and DC soldiers. " Take this little turncoat" thehy said throwing the former Captain onto the sand infront of the group( of Siestian and DC soldiers.

The Siesatians ran forward, "You are under arest for the murder of a DC officer, and the atempted murder of Athos Fedric." The officers were just about to cuff him, when two shots rang out, and they fell back in pain. He had been holding a gun, and had shot them in the foot. "Yeow!!" they screeched, then he ran for the cover of the woods, he reached it just as they started to fire at him. The rounds were wasted on the trees.

Cardinal DeVito was OUTRAGED! He ordered his navy to dispatch small patrol boats and blockade the shores so Quinn couldnt escape by boat. They had orders to try to capture him and turn him over to DC custody. A navy helicopter landed and the navys Special Missions Force (SMF) team jumped out. The helicopters left and the SMF team went off into the woods looking for Quinn.
A transmission was sent to DC and Siestia HQ.
*We have sent patrol boats to makesure he doesnt escape by boat. Also or Navys SMF team has landed to aid in the search. DO NOT be alarmed they are on YOUR side.*

The Freestars engines shut down, and silence prevailed on the island once again. She walked into the main office, to find monks, and a secratary figting with each other over fashion. Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack was engaged in a video conference in the office structure of the Colonial compound. Built more like a small bunker than a normal small office building, the structure was designed to withstand multiple missile strikes. At the moment though, Delmack was engaged in conversation with the Vice-Director of the Office of Naval Intelligence. Delmack had just requested a fighter detachment and another platoon of troops from the navy. "We can get the Army to fly out another platoon of soldiers easily enough, but getting fighters to you will be much more difficult," said the Vice-Director. "We don't want to commit an entire naval battlegroup to your compound, and you're too far away from the Democratic Colonies for fighters to just fly over there from our land bases." he continued, now looking at a map that he had pulled out. "Sir, I strongly believe that everything may not be as it seems here, and I think sending over a fighter squadren is the best way to further secure our safety. There's no need to commit a full battlegroup to us, all we're asking is that a squadren or two of fighters is sent over to protect us. With aerial refueling, I think the CNS Challenger is still close enough to us to land a squadren of F-111C Sea Aardvarks here." The Vice-Director grudgingly agreed. "Alright, I'll pass this request over to Fleet Command. You'll get one squadren of F-111C Sea Aardvarks, and when the Airforce transports show up to pick up Sergent Thorsman's body, they'll bring in another platoon of troops with them, along with spare missiles and parts for that Aardvark squadren." "Thank you sir," said Delmack, "the landing strip will be ready for the Aardvarks when they arrive."

Aboard the battleship "New Hope"

The 12 Seals stood at attention as their commander walked into the breifing room. "As you were."

"Recent satellite imagery shows that a Cherry Ridge official has escaped into the woods on the island. For a while now we have been out of communication with Cherry Ridge. We feel that if we can retrieve this official we may be able to get nessecary information on the current status of the remaining population and/or any new happenings going on."

Capt James O'Gregory spread out a map of the island. Pointing at a marked X on the shores of the island... "Satellite imagery shows that this is the safest location to land on the island unspotted. This will be a covert mission. If all goes well we will enter and leave the island unnoticed."

"But sir, aren't we being closely watched for any suspicious activity?

"Yes, that is why we will be going in under the cover of night. The boats will only protrude a foot above the surface. We will be laying down. The motors not be used unless in the case of an emergency. We will be paddling."

"Any more questions? Good. Report back here at 2200. Dismissed!"

The Seals snapped to attention. About faced and walked out of the breifing room.

In the middle of the night, the monks rose up. They then left the compund and went to the beach. They started to chant,then a single man exited the woods. He was the former Captain Quinn. He had burned his Cherry Ridge Tattoe off of his shin by heating up a knife and pressing it against his shin.
He lifted a rocket launcher but then just as he was about to fire, a monk threw his knife at him. It hit him in the stomach. Quinn drew his sword. The monk picked up a sword from the box of items the had left on the beach before. It was there only weapon, besides there knife which were for eating. Quinn lunged but the monk, Brother Michael, dodged it and struck him a blow in the arm. Then he stick the sword into his heart. ( The monk was a champion fencer.) Quinn collapsed. he was dead before he hot the ground. The man that hadkilled a special operations team was slaide by a monk. His body was dragged into the DC compound and brouught into L/CDR Delmacks secratary. She wasnt there. So they left the body on the desk with a not that said. " A present to Claire Delmack from the Monks."

Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack walked down the hall of the Colonial office building, as security cameras tracked her down the brightly lit corridor. Her jet black hair was tied back into a bun, and her Colonial Navy uniform had just been pressed, with the leather components shined. She paused in front of the doors to the reception area as a the base AI flickered onto the LCD screen mounted to the left of the door. "Please confirm your identity" the AI asked. "Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack, Office of Naval Intelligence, Section One" Delmack replied as the AI took retinal, facial and voice pattern scans through the monitor. "Identity confirmed." the AI said as the double doors of bullet-proof glass to the reception area opened up. The first thing Delmack noticed out of the ordinary was a dead body lying on the far left of the reception desk. A Colonial soldier was taking photos of the corpse, while another took digital fingerprint scans with his PDA. "Is that Captain Quinn?" asked Delmack, walking over to take a closer look. "Yes ma'am" replied the soldier who had his PDA operating as a camera. "The monks from Cherry Ridge just showed up at the front gates with this mysterious package - they didn't even want us to see what it was, wanted it to be a 'suprise'," the soldier continued as he reconfigured his PDA to take retinal scans. "the troops guarding the entry gate to the base were suspicous when it turned out to be a dead body, but it didn't seem like it could do much harm. We escorted the monks in, the base AI ran the a biological / chemical weapons scan out in the pre-reception containment corridor, and then we just let them in here. When your office staff told them you weren't here, they just dumped him on the counter with this card". The soldier passed the card to Delmack, and then leaned in over Quinn and forced his eyes open for a retinal scan. "You two do this often?" she asked, as the soldier taking finger prints finshed up. The soldier with the retinal scanner replied "No, this is pretty weird duty for us, but special orders came down from the Colonial Intelligence Service regarding Captain Quinn. Apparently, despite the fact that he's dead, they want all the info on him they can get. Damn intel weirdos..." Delmack gave a polite cough at the comment. "Oh!, ah, I mean.... those damn weirdos at CIS!" the soldier said in a nervous voice. "I mean, really, we both love ONI. You guys were always my favourite intelligence branch....sir." Delmack let the slip of tongue pass as she left them alone to finish up and she read the card the monks left. "A present to Claire Delmack from the Monks." she read aloud, as she walked out of the reception area towards her office. "How charming..."

Ronald Tregers, one of ten humans at the siesatian base walked outside for his morning run. Stepping outside, he saw a stange object on a post, it had not been there the previous night. Running up to it, he imediately saw it was a human head, and below it, a raptor. A message nailed to the post was written in Cuneaform, but he could read it, being the base linguist, it said,

Strange men and Dragons, leave now, or we will kill you all. We have many warriors.

He ran for the commanders office, and read to her a letter. "What do we do?"
"We wait for them to come to us, I will inform DC and CR, lucky the monks are inside the compounds, otherwise they might be dead."

"Send them down to the med lab, have them analised for any information."

"This is extremely odd, and I'd like you to send up a team of Rangers from the CNS Challenger" said Lieutenant Claire Delmack. She was again engaged in a video conference with the Vice-Director of the Office of Naval Intelligence, this time reporting what the Siesatians had discovered and requesting that a special operations team be assigned to the base. "Well, considering the strange circumstances of what happened, we'll send over a SpecOps team, but they won't be Rangers. Last time the CNS Challenger was in port, she swapped out her Ranger detachment for Lancers. You'll recieve a team of 24 Lancers." said the Vice-Director. Delmack instantly agreed to it. "Lancers will do just fine" she nodded. "Alright," said the Vice-Director, preparing to cut his connection. "Keep us posted on developments and expect the reinforcements to arrive within the next couple of days. The CNS Challenger and her battlegroup are a bit tied up in counter-piracy operations, so that squadren of Sea Aardvarks won't be sent over for a little while longer." Delmack sat back in her chair as she thought about the switch in SpecOps team assignments on the Challenger. The Rangers were usually assigned over to the Colonial Navy from the Colonial Army whenever the Navy requested them, but Navy pride had been pushing for the creation of an all-Navy special operations outfit for years. It was only in the last year though, that funding was approved, but once they were active, the Colonial Lancers had been slowly replacing Rangers on the carriers for last 6 months. The Lancers, while generally less experienced than the Rangers they were replacing, were just as well trained and were highly motivated to bring in respect and honor to thier newly born outfit. The rivalry between the Navy Lancers and the Army Rangers was already going strong, and no Lancer wanted to let thier side down.

Battleship "New Hope"-

The 12 Seals met there commander in the breifing room once again. They stood at attention in front of the metal cushioned seats.

"At ease. Some new satellite imagery just came in. It appears the CR official we've been tracking was murdered. As well as a few other people. We do not know why. However we are still going in, except this time it's going to be a recon mission."

Capt O'Gregory leaned over a map. "We will split up into 3 teams. Two teams of 5 and one team of 3. One team will be placed over on this side of the island," indicating a northern base, "and another team will be placed over here," indicating a southern base. The team of three, myself included will be scouting out around the center of the island. If worse comes to worse and one of you is captured there will be no talking whatsoever, dont give name, country, or age. We will not be wearing the Cullenus uniform."

Capt O'Gregory straightened up. "We are going to find out what's happening on this island, why these people are being murdered. Try to find out as much information as possible, I want to know everything. And be sure to remain on secure frequencies when using the radio."

"Any questions? Alright then. Let's go."

The 13 Seals dressed in midnight black and green BDUs loaded the boats. Each of the 5 man teams carried 4 silenenced SMGs and 1 sniper rifle. All carried a modified .22, binoculars, and radio/infrared headgear. They pushed off from New Hope not even able to be seen by the crew members on the ship.

Landing unnoticed on the shores of Cherry Ridge at 30 foot intervals, each team slipped out of the boats. Alpha team consisting of O'Gregory and two sergeants. Bravo and Charlie teams consisting of 5 sergeants.

-Alpha

Capt O'Gregory and his two sergeants silently slid their craft into the forest, nobody speaking. They covered it up using nearby brush. Everyone adjusted their gear, and checked their pistols before slipping them into the pouch. Capt O'Gregory lifted his arm and waved it forward indicating for his team to move in.

-Bravo and Charlie

Each team after camoflauging their crafts headed out to their predetermined positions. Each team was set up with one person scouting 15 feet ahead, two people navigating with the compass and keeping track of distance traveled. And then the remaining two bringing up the rear.

"Help, HELP" he shouted,

"Close to this compound."

The monks agin at night rose up and walked through the woods. They saw men, men with rifles. They all drew there knifes and then walked to the beach. They put there knifes away and then lit a bonfire. They all then chanted. Then they saw boats. Not Siestian or DC boats they then drew there knifes. They cut the engines and then threw the oars into the bonfire. Then they saw they were cullenus boats. They then saw a cullenus SEAL in the woods. There were 2 of them. They drew there knifes and stabbed one took his weapon and shot the other one in the leg:mp5: just as he was about to shoot them with his sniper rifle :sniper: and then walked them to the beach. They took away there weapons. They then walked them through the woods and into the DC command post. A guard greeted the monks and the monks wrote on a card "To Clair Delmack here were some soldiers we captured in the woods. They are cullenus navy seals doing a recon mission"

Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack leaned back in her chair as she reviewed the newest surveillance photos and reports on Cherry Ridge. In her sparsely decorated office were multiple piles of reports and photos detailing the opinions and treatment of those on Cherry Ridge who did not follow the Church as closely as others. While most of the analysis was taking place back in the Democratic Colonies, she was still required to look over a number of materials inorder to know how things were going in Cherry Ridge. So far, things seemed to be okay - rebuilding efforts were coming along, and there weren't anymore religous killings. She shuddered at the thought of the religous excecutions that took place in Cherry Ridge - in the middle of last year, she had been assigned to a radical Islamic nation to extract an informant. She had the misfortune of arriving mere hours after a "purge of cleanliness", and it seemed like there was the body of an "infidel" hanging from every lamp post and street sign in the captial. An entire family had been outed as Christian, and were hung together after the daughters had been raped by Islamic soldiers. She considered it the worst thing she had ever seen, but the killings at Cherry Ridge were just as bad. She still vividly remembered the video tape smuggled out of Cherry Ridge showing the school teacher being executed. The teacher just kept screaming and screaming as the flames grew around her. The hair as it burnt off her body, her eyes as they dryed out and deformed in the heat. How the heat and the flame slowly tore open her chest, spilling her organs out and eventually engulfing her whole as the crowd cheered... The look on her face as she realized no one would be coming to save her in time, and the pain as her legs were burnt away... Lieutenant Commander Delmack was startled out of her waking nightmare though, as the base AI flickered onto one of her wallmounted LCD screens. "I'm sorry to interupt," the AI began, "but the soldiers at the gate into the base are reporting that the Cherry Ridge monks just left the remains of a pair of soldiers from Cullenus at thier position." The AI then turned to face her left, as the video-phone feed from a soldier at the gate appeared on the monitor mounted to the left of her. "Sir, Sergent Terrence reporting." said the soldier on the other end of the video-phone connection. "Report" ordered Delmack, as she began to sit up. "Well sir, about 2 minutes ago, the monks from Cherry Ridge arrived carrying a pair of bodies. The monks claim that the bodies are from Cullenus, a pair of soldiers on a recon mission, but there don't appear to have any identifying patches or markings to indicate which nation they're from. The monks then left, but they left a card." The soldier held up a card to his PDA video-phone, and Delmack stood up to read it more clearly. "To Claire Delmack here were some soldiers we captured in the woods. They are cullenus navy seals doing a recon mission" she read aloud. "Alright Sergent, well done. Just sit tight, I'll be out there in a minute" said Delmack as she picked up her red leather uniform jacket from her small office couch. The soldier closed the vidphone connection with a quick salute and yes sir as Delmack put on the jacket and began to do up its clasps. She ordered the AI to inform her superiors back at the Democratic Colonies as to what happened as she exited her office.

When Delmack arrived at the gate into the Colonial compound, she noticed that a pair of the soldiers were using thier PDAs to take finger print scans and photos of the two corpses. When she asked about it, she was told that the order to do so had come in from the Colonial Intelligence Service back in the Democratic Colonies while she was still on the way out to the gate. While she was getting slightly annoyed about the CIS stepping in on her "turf", she supposed that they did have the right to order the scans from back in DC without her input. Besides, she probably would have ordered the same thing anyways since they still weren't entirely sure who the corpses were. The monks said they were from Cullenus though, and she was inclined to believe them for the time being, but it would be nice to be absolutely sure. She ordered the corpses taken down to the storage room at the medical bunker, which was quickly becoming a morgue, and told the base AI to inform the Siesatians about what happened. She also ordered an increase in security level from Green to Yellow, so the number of troops posted around the compound would be increased and finger print and hand scanning would be required for entry into protected buildings, as well as a personal password.

IC: "This is Bravo team commander calling Charlie, over."

"This is Charlie, go ahead."

"Have you had any luck yet? We've been trying to contact Alpha for hours now."

"No luck yet."

"OK, Charlie keep trying to contact Alpha, we are going to go out searching for him. I believe this is no longer a recon mission."

Bravo team had been laying down observing a base that appeared to belong to Siesatia. The 5 men were spread apart with about 10 feet in between each person. Bravo commader, Sgt Daniels, signaled to his team members. One by one each creeped back into the hilly forest reforming their basic traveling formation. The woods were very thick and humid. Some of the soldiers took their extra shirts and tied them around their heads to serve as bandanas. All had their weapons at the ready.

Back at Charlie across the island a weak signal came in over the radio. Sgt Danue listened carefully. "It's Cullenus morse code!" The other members ran up and gathered around the radio. Once again it came through. "Alright its saying something about Alpha..." They continued to listen. "Their in trouble."

The clicking stopped... then a faint voice came over the radio, "Alpha.. t'Charlie.. anyone there...!"

"This is Charlie what's wrong!"

"Capt O'Gregory and Sgt Jenson were attacked while I was scouting out a ways. I heard a gunshot and then ran back, they were being dragged away by monks. I am not sure of their condition."

"Where are you?"

"I was walking and the ground collapsed beneath me... my leg is broken. Im in a cave of some sort."

"Ok, Bravo is out searching for you we will update them on what has happened."

"Charlie to Bravo, come in"

"This is Bravo, go ahead."

Sgt Danue told them everything they heard about Alpha. Then he ordered his team to move out. They were also going to help in the search. Everyone was armed and ready for anything.

They boty said a mass. One said a traditional latin mass while one said the new, english mass. Some monks went to the english mass while most went to the latin mass. After mass, the monks walked the island looking for cullenus seals. they found none but are still looking.

IC: Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack watched as the base doctor drove up to the base gateway in his Humvee. "You're a bit late Doctor Reed." said one of the soldiers as the doctor stepped out of the Humvee, medical kit in hand. Doctor Reed though, wanted to be sure that the two corpses were actually dead. "Did you check for pulses?" he asked as he leaned down to examine the bodies. "Yes sir, no pulses" answered one of the soldiers. "Well, this one's dead" Doctor Reed said as he indicated the corpse on the right with a gaping stab wound on his chest. "This one on the left though, I think still has a heartbeat. It's fairly faint, so I don't blame you for missing it, but he's still alive." He contined as he stood up. The soldier who claimed that the bodies had no pulses looked extremely nervous. The doctor turned to face him. "It's not your fault soldier - this man has lost alot of blood, his pulse is weak. Besides, there's alot of blood smeared on him from the other body - I'm not suprised you thought he was dead. Now get my stretcher out from my Humvee". Lieutenant Commander Delmack watched as the soldiers assisted the doctor in preparing the wounded man for transport before approching Doctor Reed. "What are his chances? You said he'd lost alot of blood?" asked Delmack, as Doctor Reed attached an IV tube to the wounded man's arm. "We'll see what we can do. We've got a full bloodbank back at the base medical bunker, so we should be able to replace anything he's lost. Metel Plates slid down onto the windows, and the doorswere only accessable through a biometric Hand scanner. The entire base was put on high alert, with 24 hour sattalite survailence of the surrounding area.

ic- The Starshipp, CRS Explorer, landed on St. John berchmans isle, off stepped CR's new leader, Air Marshall DeVito, the deceased Cardinals nephew.(Cardinal had a heart attack). He went to the Siestian office and apoligised for the seaths of the Siestian soldiers and did the same with DC. After that he boardered the SHip and left. He left behind the new liason, Commander Lauren Burke of the CR starfleet. She walked into the Siestian office and saw the commander of the siestians,a raptor. She gasped but then snapped to attention and said, "Commander Burke Reporting for duty MAM."

She found her quarters and chaned into her Service B uniform. IT was a blue shirt with short sleaves. It had her rank on her collar, and her ribbons on her chest. On her hat she had her specilty on both sides. She was a sattelite specialist, controlling sattelites from a computer. Her pants were also blue. Her boots were shined. She unpacked. She had a communications device in her pocket. She then walked the island looking around at her surroundings.

Charlie and Bravo teams had been surviving secretly in the forests on Cherry Ridge. Days ago they had found the sole remaining Alpha member who had joined up with them. They were all hungry and had been surviving off the local vegetation and creeks for nourishment.

A while back, after discovering the sabatoge of their landing crafts, they had used their radio to call back to the battleship New Hope to get additional crafts sent in to retrieve them. However due to increase security they would have to wait.

Earlier today New Hope had told them that the security has relaxed a bit. And they were sending in two boats to bring them back to New Hope. Everybody had been sad over the loss of Capt O'Gregory and the other sergeant.

"I see them," whispered one of the seals "just down by the bank."

Each craft had flashed a small red light to pronounce their arrival. It was very late at night. The seals team crept down to the crafts searching around carefully for anything unusual. Upon arriving a dark silhouette of a soldier motioned them quietly onto the individual crafts.

Without saying a word the SEALs slipped off into the murky sea toward the distant lights of their battleship New Hope.

Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack leaned back in her office chair and rubbed her eyes. She hadn't gotten any sleep despite the fact that it was the middle of the night, the wounded Cullenus soldier they had taken to the medical bunker still hadn't regained concousness, the squadren of F-111C Sea Aardvarks the CNS Challenger was supposed to send over were still nowhere in sight, and the expansions to the base airfield were going much slower than expected. Nothing was going as smoothly as planned, although atleast one of Delmack's problems were about to be solved. Delmack didn't bother to open her eyes when the base AI flickered onto one of her wall mounted LCD displays. "Lieutenant Commander Delmack, I'm sorry to interupt, but I am tracking a C-130 Hercules inbound for our base. They have been identified as the additional platoon of Colonial infantry and the technical support team for the airfield that you requested" the AI reported, looking slightly concerned about Delmack's tired looking shape. There was a second of silence before the AI continued. "As well, we are receiving word from the CNS Challenger. They report that they are still unable to send over the fighter squadren you requested, but they have dispatched a V-22 Opsrey that will ferry over the special operations team of Navy Lancers that you requested. The Osprey will have to carry additional fuel tanks in its cargo hold, and will refuel en route on the civilian oceanliner CS Ocean Sight to reach us safely, but they should arrive before daybreak". Lieutenant Delmack, still with a hand over her eyes, mumbled a "That's great..." as her only response. There were a few moments of silence as the only sound that could be heard was Delmack softly breathing. Delmack remained slumped in her chair, relatively motionless. The base AI spent several seconds observing Lieutenant Delmack before concluding that she was simply exhausted and was asleep. The AI flickered off the screen and dimmed the lights in Delmack's office, planning to awaken her when the Colonial Lancers arrived - the AI figured she and the rest of Delmack's staff could get the personel from the incoming C-130 settled in without Delmack's direct supervision.

OOC: I'm feeling a bit tired right now - does anyone else ever project onto thier RP characters? Anyways, I could go either way on why Delmack basically fell asleep at her desk during a briefing - the simplist thing to do is to just have the AI be right in her conclusion that Delmack was exhausted and fell asleep, but I was wondering if someone would like to take credit for poisioning her or something. That would explain it quite tidily as well.

Oh, and Siesatia, I'm expanding my airbase and adding more living quarters. Aside from that, my base isn't changing too much.

Siesatian Generators fail, New powerdish installed.
The Siesatian Government authorised the creation of a Microwave power dish, and the use of a solar collector sattalite, which have been dead in orbit for the past twenty years. Power Began streeming through the base, and shield capacity is now at 300 % The entire island has power. And there is an enormus surplus, Siesatian government has offered free power to the Cherry Ridge Governement in exchange for one of the two, untouched islands so a sort of, biological preserve can be set up. This will be open to anyone, in exchange for a small enterence fee per person. The Park will be run by International Genetic Technologies of Palo Alto, owner John Hammond, and will feature 'exotic' animals, and full time actors. John Hammond said in an interview "This, quite possibley could be the greatest theme park in the world." Now we wait for an official responce from CR authorities.

Athos, who was shot, has survived, he... Dodges the bullet, or should I say, his heart did, in the middle of a compress, the bullet passed by. He is expected to make a full recovery, and enter into his retirement, at the age of 126.

*Colonial Outpost, Officehousing Bunker, Time - 13:46*

Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack, assisted by various members of her office staff, were shoving various folders of classified material into shredders as the distinctive whooping of rotor blades could be heard outside. While Colonial Battlegroup 3.2 was still a day or two away, evacuation efforts had already begun at the Colonial outpost on St. John Berchman's Isle. A squadren of 4 Ticonderoga II Class Cruisers had escorted in a Colonial cargo vessel, and all Colonial personel were to be onboard the cargo vessel and on thier way back to the Democratic Colonies by the end of the day. Some of the base personel had already been evacuated the day earlier by C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft, but most would be leaving via the cargo ship. Delmack finshed stuffing the last folder of files to be destroyed into a shredder as a Colonial Lancer entered her office. A detachment of 24 Colonial Lancers, the special operations arm of the Colonial Navy, was assigned to the base and would be leaving the outpost along with everyone else. The Lancer saluted and began to speak as Delmack slid her laptop computer into her travel bag. "Commander Delmack, your aide reports that your personal effects have been properly packaged and are ready to be airlifted out." The Lancer said, abruptly abandoning his salute as Delmack shoved him a box of shredded documents. Delmack used a hand to sweep her hair back as she began to speak. "Okay Lancer, that's good news. Tell my aide to get himself and my things out of here on the next available Osprey. Now, take this box of documents, and toss them into the mobile burning box at the end of this hallway" she said as she pointed down the hallway the Lancer had just come down. The Lancer saluted and exited the room, the box cradled under an arm, as Delmack helped one of her staff take an LCD display screen down from its wallmounting. It was strange for Delmack to see her office essentially being disassembled and packaged up for movement, but she understood the logic of it. While the Siesatian base on the island was well armed and defended, the Colonial base was layed out with mobility much more in mind. The Colonial base probably couldn't defend itself in the face of an all out attack, and would only add the list of things Battlegroup 3.2 would have to defend when it arrived if it was still fully manned. The descision was made to evacuate the base for the duration of heightened tensions, and return to it only at the end of said tensions. Ofcourse, even with the base abandoned, the Colonial Fleet Command didn't want to see it get captured for possible use by hostile forces, so they were sending up a special package that Delmack herself was supposed to attend to as soon as her office was cleared out. Picking up a cardboard box that carried a few of her personal photos and books, she took a look around her office. It looked empty enough to her - her staff would probably be able to pack up what little was left without her assistance. She informed them she was leaving as she checked her watch for the time, and walked quickly out to the base landing pad where a flight of V-22 Ospreys was scheduled for landing at 14:00.

The rotorwash generated by the Ospreys blew Delmack's hair around her face as the VTOL aircraft touched down on the landing pad of the Colonial base. While most were simply arriving to evacuate personel and material from the base, the Osprey Delmack was currently interested in was also carrying the package that Colonial Fleet Command had sent up for delivery. While the other Ospreys simply began taking on thier cargo as soon as they landed and thier bay doors opened, the Ospery before Delmack opened up its bay doors to reveal a squad of Colonial Lancers carrying a 6 foot long black box. "Is that the package?" yelled Delmack over the thunder of the Ospreys. "Yes sir," replied one of the Lancers, leading the squad out of the aircraft and towards the base offices. "Let's get this thing planted so we can get out of here!" he continued as rotorwash tore at his body armour. Delmack yelled an agreement, but her words were lost in the noise as the one of the Ospreys took off, loaded with the base medical and cooking staffs.

The base officehousing bunker was still in a state of frantic activity as Delmack and the Lancer squad arrived in it's reception area. One of the Lancers brought out an electric screwdriver as the others lifted thier package onto a table behind the reception counter. Delmack watched as they opened up thier box, removing the screws that held its lid in place and then lifting it up to reveal the means through which Colonial Fleet Command intended to prevent the capture of the soon to be abandoned base: a tactical nuclear weapon.

The office staff came to an immediate halt and one of the Lancers let out a low whistle as Lieutenant Commander Delmack and the leader of the Lancer squad input a pair of passwords to arm the tactical nuclear device. The base AI flickered onto one of the few remaining LCD screens in the reception area with a grim look on her face. "Tactical Nuclear Warhead, Mark 5-A. Configureable detonation strength, with a maximum yield of 800 kilotons. Integrated self destruct systems, able to be detonated via remote communications signal, automated alarm system, direct human command or..." she paused before continuing. "...or Direct AI command" she finished in a stiff voice. The lead Lancer looked up in suprise at the AI. "Well done," he said as finished inputing his password. "I thought you were supposed to be evacuated already..." he asked, gesturing to indicate that he didn't know her name. "New orders from Colonial Fleet Command," the AI said. "I am to remain behind after the evacutation to operate the automated base defenses, co-ordinate with the Siesatians if required, and ensure that the base does not fall into enemy hands in the event that radio jamming prevents a remote detonation of the nuclear device you and your team are currently installing." The Lancer leader gave the AI a concerned look as he stepped away from the tactical nuke, giving his squad space to screw the lid of the box that contained it back on. "So they're leaving you here on a suicide mission?" asked the Lancer in a subdued voice. "What's your name?" He continued before she replied. "My name... my name is Magnolia," she said. "And I don't think it's a suicide mission. If Battlegroup 3.2 manages to keep the opposing forces off this island, then I will never have the need to detonate the tac-nuke. I'm only to detonate it if hostile forces break through my automated defenses and have breached the doors to this bunker and captured the base in its entirety" The Lancer leader was about to reply when one of his Lancers tapped him on the shoulder. "The nuke's screwed onto the table and the wall, the case is screwed shut and the AI direct detonation hook-up has been established" he said, tossing his electric screwdriver into his backpack. "Magnolia, what's the status of our evacuation?" asked Delmack. "Nearly all personel have been evacuated. All classified material has been either evacuated or destroyed, and all computer equipment designated for evacuation has been evacuated. The last flight of Ospreys is scheduled to arrive in 30 minutes, and you, your staff, and the Lancers are to be on it. My automated defenses are ready, and I am prepared to detonate the tactical nuclear device" replied Magnolia, slightly hesitating on the last words. "Okay then," said Delmack, gesturing towards the few remaining office staff. "Everyone to the landing pad - me and my personal staff will be going to meet up with the CNS Liberator and Battlegroup 3.2, everyone else is headed back to the Democratic Colonies and safety aboard the cargo ship." Delmack paused to address the base AI as the office staff filed out. "Magnolia..." Delmack began. "Magnolia, be careful. Don't detonate that nuke unless you have too. With luck, this'll all blow over without a single shot being fired and we'll be back here to either move back into the base or just evac you out of here soon enough. Stay safe, you'll be okay." Delmack then offered a salute, which Magnolia returned from her LCD screen. The Lancer leader gave Magnolia a long look before turning around and leading his squad out, following Lieutenant Commander Delmack to the base landing pad. Magnolia locked the doors to the officehousing bunker behind them as they left, turned the lights out everywhere on the base but the landing pad, and flickered off the LCD screen. Soon enough, she thought, she would be totally alone on the Colonial outpost. The Colonial Government wasen't going to tell Cherry Ridge or its allies about the nuke, but Magnolia was authorized to tell any advancing Cherry Ridge forces about it in an effort to keep them away from the base. The Siesatian Government was being alerted as to the actions of the Colonial forces, and reassured that although the Colonial base was being evacuated for the time being, Battlegroup 3.2 was still en route to back them up and the automated defenses of the Colonial base could still put up a fight.

Magnolia was glad to hear the news that she was to be evacuated afterall. After recieving communications from the Siesatian Government, the Democratic Colonies had decided to completely evacuate and abandon the base on St. John Berchman's Isle. Lieutenant Commander Delmack, a technical team, 2 platoons of Colonial Marines and a Colonial Lancer team were currently en route back to the outpost on 8 V-22 Ospreys. While the personel involved didn't really need 8 Ospreys to transport them to the outpost, 8 Ospreys would be needed to airlift Magnolia's AI Computer Core out to the waiting cargo ship. The plan was for the technical team and Lieutenant Commander Delmack to prepare her Computer Core for movement while the Marines would go planting explosive devices to destroy the structures of the Colonial base and the Lancers recovered the tactical nuke they had planted earlier. If all went according to plan, all Colonial personel, human and artifical, would be off the island by 16:00 that day, the nuke would be recovered, and the base would be destroyed. Battlegroup 3.2 would be arriving to assist the Crusier Squadren in escorting the cargo ship back to the Democratic Colonies.

OOC: If no one interferes, I'll assume that it went off without a hitch, my AI and the recovery team make it back fine, I recover my tac-nuke without incident, and my outpost is blown to hell by conventional explosive charges.

But left three words engraved in a stone. "We will Return"

We have prepped the colony ships, and are preparing supplies. Has DC accepted our offer?

20 Esamopia Class Transport ships, holding a total of 50,000 men steamed into the Harbour of St. John Berchmans Isle. By 5 PM that evening the troops had unloaded and were setting up camp towards the south end of the island. It was the 2nd Division of the Sola Christo Army Group of the Greater Prussian Imperial Guard; General Count Engle von Brauschwitz commanding. The tanks and artillery had already been brought over in the morning by barges from the mainland, so all things were in order for the beginning of the military occupation and protection of the island from the return of the enemy forces.

Over the next few weeks the old concrete walls of the enemy's former fortifications would be utilized to construct newer fortifications and several teams of Imperial Engineers would be sent to the island to begin construction on the many projects planned for that little patch of land.

General Barbossa was checking his official messages when he got a new one. Wonder who this is from he thought.

You are to mobilize immediately and embarck to Cherry Ridge. Eliminate enemy opposition and secure the island. 2nd Division of the Sola Christo Army Group already present. Rondezvous with them and wait for further orders from me.

"Well, then, time to go." He walked outside and turned on the base-wide PA system.

Prepare for mobilization. We are embarking on a security mission. Move to tunnels now. Full mobilization. Upon the announcement, the mobilization alarm was sounded. Crates off ammunition were being loaded into carts to be loaded on to the bullet trains of the Derscon National Bunker Complex. The weapons were being checked and loaded up. The tanks had to go on the bullet trains for transport to the Naval base outside Munich. A half hour later, the base was virtually void of life, and A team of Dersconi Marines was being sent to the now empty base for security.

THe Dersconi ships were moving into the harbour for unloading. Thirty-five Apache gunships and fifty Blackhawks flew in to the position of the unloading troops. The First Brigade of the Inquisition was being escorted by First Fleet of the Dersconi Imperial Navy. THe First Fleet was to mantain a presence at the Harbour for security reasons. Helocoptors were flying back and forth from the Flagship Carrier Jurrasic and the three minor carriers: Malm, Dogger and Lias. THe Carriers had supplies and munitions for the troops. Transport ships were unloading the tanks and the howitzers on to land.

By 09:00, the entire First Brigade was present and had secured the harbour. Fortifications were being made by building upon the harbour and shipping materials in from Derscon.

By the end of the week, the harbour was as secure as Kremlin Palace.

My understanding was that there was no native population of St. John Berchman's Isle aside from the monks. With the monks gone and the Siesatian and Colonial bases evacuated and destroyed, the island should be completely uninhabited to the best of my knowledge.

Well, the original incident that sparked the whole affair was Cherry Ridge burning a teacher at the stake for teaching evolution. Cherry Ridge then had a pair of people shot for spitting on the steps of a church, and then had a doctor who was performing abortions hung. This lead to military invervention wherein the Federated Union of Democratic Colonies demanded that either A) the government of Cherry Ridge stop excecuting people for actions that the Cherry Ridge church felt were immoral and instead deported them to the Democratic Colonies as exiles, or B) the government of Cherry Ridge allow all non-Catholics and Catholic citizens who wanted to be evacuated to the Democratic Colonies, for thier own protection from the government of Cherry Ridge, to do so. Cherry Ridge claimed that there was no one in his nation who would want to be evacuated under option B, claimed that he had a 100% Catholic population and that all of his people loved the church - now, obviously, not everyone loved the church if people were being publicly excecuted for crimes against the church on a regular basis.

We concluded that there probably were people in Cherry Ridge who did not want to live under such strict church rule, and were negotiating on how we could peacefully enter the capitol city of Cherry Ridge to determine for ourselves if anyone wanted to leave Cherry Ridge but was afraid to do so under fear of punishment from the church, when Cullenus, a nation that had pledged to defend Cherry Ridge, opened fire on a flight of my recon aircraft that were still technically in international airspace. This lead to the nations condemning the actions of Cherry Ridge to begin a massive bombardment campaign, which then lead to Cherry Ridge admitting that there was indeed a Protestent minority within his nation that did wish to be evacuated. The Protestent minority was evacuated via Colonial aircraft, and a peace treaty was signed, stating that 1) Cherry Ridge was to stop oppressing people's religous beliefs, and 2) St. John Berchman's Isle was to be ceded to the coalition that fought against Cherry Ridge for the construction of the various monitering stations to ensure the end of religous oppression on Cherry Ridge. It is the honest belief of the Democratic Colonies that had the Protestent refugees we evacuated openly announced thier faith on Cherry Ridge, they would have been excecuted - the only reason those people were alive was because they pretended to be Catholic. We feel that no one should have to hide thier religion for fear of public execution, and that any incident like that would consitute a severe case of religous oppression.

OOC: I apologize if my description of the sequence of events isn't too detailed, but what happened in its entirety was a 20 page thread. There were probably a few other terms of the peace treaty too, but I don't really recall them right now.

It was Cherry Ridge who admitted that he had the oppressed Protestent minority. I rescued them (ofcourse, with the help of Siesatia and all the other nations involved - national pride aside, Cullenus would have destroyed my taskforce without the help of the other nations there) and now the Protestents live happy, free lives in Andromeda Colony. Quite a few of them decided to join the Colonial military even after being warned of all the dangers and risks involved, and one of them was recently admitted into the Colonial Lancers, our naval special forces arm. Another is expected to win the Mayor's seat of the city of Machen Alpha. They're damn glad they now have the freedom to worship as they see fit, and the Democratic Colonies is damn glad to have them.

They were not terrorists - the Federated Union of Democratic Colonies considers them "freedom fighters", and would have applauded thier efforts had we known of them earlier. They say that the only reason they would want to kill the Cardinal was because the Cardinal wouldn't have let them practice thier religion freely - in other words, they were fighting against religous oppression, a most noble and worthy goal. If they had established thier own government on Cherry Ridge, they would have allowed citizens to practice any religion they wished.

Under your regime, priests are part of the government. Priests in Cherry Ridge serve as informants and domestic intelligence agents, as evidenced by the fact that it was a priest that was initally told of the teacher teaching evolution, and that said priest had the connections to have a special forces operation take place to arrest the teacher. Such a clear part of the Cherry Ridge systematic religous oppression machine is a legal and viable target for freedom fighters to attack.

A black Kilmangan Revamper atmospheric bomber flys up above Cherry Ridge territory, the pilot was imformed of the targets exact location by the crew of the space ship Ongoer, "Wake up" The pilot said,
"Huh?" the co pilot woke up very annoyed "why'd you wake me?" also annoyed the pilot told him
"we are nearing the national church of CR" the plane was in sight of the church, which was huge. They soon got to the church and under the wing, three cruise missiles were released from the clamps, and all three headed streight for the massive building.

Meanwhile, back at the ship Ongoer
General Hoffman watched the action,
"boys can we have a visual of this church to be sure," and a very fuzzy picture of a large church could be seen in a short distance, both missiles were streaking towards it"Hey I belive three Cruise missles will be able to bring that bitch down and good bye oppressive government."

An unmarked white van drove next to the Central News Channel of Cherry Ridge. Four CR terrorists, led by Kilmangan Special Ops leader, Commander Gerico. They walked into the lobby, where the receptionist greeted them.
"Im sorry." She said as she walked up, "But all the tours are done for tonight, if you could come back tomorrow."
She was met with a swift chop to the nerve cluster at the base of her neck, and she was unconscious before she hit the ground. President Lansdowne and Vice President Barbarossa (or "Barb" for short) would be communicating in from the Presidential Residence. David and Juliet Qunicy, ofcourse, would in the command centre inwhich they had just arrived.

While the Quincys didn't have much of a formal title as the leaders of the Protestent refugee population that had been evacuated from Cherry Ridge, they were the pair that the refugees had most often looked to for guidence when issues came up that affected them all. David Quincy was generally regarded as being a shoe-in for the mayoral elections three months from now in the city of Machen Alpha.

David and Juliet Quincy watched as the massive primary monitors of the upper LCD screen bank at the front of the command centre flickered from thier idle maps of the Democratic Colonies and the world at large to thier ready status for the soon to begin video conference. The leftmost three screens switched to show the flag of Cherry Ridge, as they were reserved for when Cardinal DeVito and his Auxilery Bishops would join the video conference. President Lansdowne and Vice President Barbarossa appeared on the rightmost video screens, as the assigned AI for the command centre flickered onto the centre screen of the lower bank of displays. The left three screens of the lower screen bank also flickered to life, as the images of observers who would not participate in the discussion but would watch came up. From left to right, they were the Jim Barney of the Colonial Times Newspaper, Brian Gumble of MSNBC and Aaron Brown of CNN. The rightmost screens on the lower bank remained idle, as they were being reserved for any unexpected officals who might need to join in - if more than three joined, the command centre AI, Tigress, would probably have to begin splitting the screens into halves.

David Quincy took a deep breath as the transmission asking Cardinal DeVito and his officals to join the video conference was sent out.

OOC: If anyone wants to join in on the conference, go ahead. The command centre AI named "Tigress" will let you in. Like I said, if more than three people join in, she'll just begin splitting up screens. The current monitor arrangement looks something like this:

Mean while Almost the entire population of Cherry Ridge City was outside the Cardinalatial palce where the Cardinal and his bishops were. They were heard chanting
"Cardinal DeVito we love you, Holy Mother Church we love you PLEASE terrorists leave us be." It was loud enough to be heard inside the palace and the DC officials and protestant leaders could hear it.

The Cardinal then sent a message to the guards guarding the terroists to throw one to the mercy of the Crowd, burn one at the stake, hang one, execute one by firing squad, and the last one was to be electrecuted (sp*)

The one at the emrcy of the crowd was crused to death.
The one burned was killed that way.
The one by hanging was killed instantly because his neck snapped.
The firing squad wounede the terrorist and the a lone officer with a pistal shot him in the head.
The one by electric chair was killed after 3 shocks.

Everyone appeared to be present for the video conference, although the constant sound of Cherry Ridgian chanting could be heard coming over from Cardinal DeVito's location. Tigress, the command centre AI, gave a slightly annoyed look up at Cardinal DeVito's screen.

"Shall I filter out the backround disturbance Mr. President?" Tigress asked President Lansdowne. "By all means, please do so." replied Lansdowne. The sounds of chanting immediately fell silent as Tigress filtered them out from the video conference. "All participants, please confirm that you can hear the sound of my voice clearly." requested Tigress, glancing around at the surrounding LCD screens. The assembled officals and observers replied in the positive. "Very well then. You may commence your discussion. I will remain available to all parties to cross reference information, check facts or... filter out any other disturbances that should arise as requested." said Tigress. She seemed to imply that she meant Cardinal DeVito with her last remark about disturbances. President Lansdowne nodded and began to speak. "Thank you Tigress. Now, first off Cardinal DeVito, the Democratic Colonies would like to assure you that we had nothing to do with the attacks that occured earlier on your nation. We seek to avoid military confrontation whenever possible, and infact condemn the actions of Kilmanga - the destruction of the Central News Channel Centre undoubtedly caused the deaths and woundings of countless civilians, and the Democratic Colonies would never support such an unprovoked attack on a civilian target."

OOC: We really didn't have anything to do with those attacks. Infact, we'd be perfectly okay with it if you totally ignored the attacks - Kilmanga didn't RP how his bombers ended up in your nation, didn't RP how his ground attack team got into your nation, and I think he posted your damages - all things we're not supposed to do under proper RPing procedure.

As well, I'm still looking around for suitable pics of my President and Vice President, they should be up eventually.

David Quincy turned around as he heard the sound of the massive doors to the command centre lowering into the floor, admitting a trio of people. David didn't recognize them, but they were dressed in the standard Colonial military uniform. There was one man and two women in the trio, they were being escorted over to a table behind him. David wasen't quite sure of thier ranks, but he recognized the service pins that were attached to thier turtlenecks and jacket lapels - apparently, the man and one of the women were with the Colonial Navy, while the other woman was with the Colonial Army. He turned back around to face the screen bank at the front of the command centre again as his wife Juliet tapped him on the shoulder - Cardinal DeVito looked like he was about to say something.

Major Rebecca Levy sat down at the table indicated as she noticed David Quincy glancing in her direction. Levy had led a team of Colonial Rangers that rescued an Osprey full of Protestent refugees from Cherry Ridge, and the Colonial Government had felt that her presence and the presence of the two officers with her might be useful during the conference. They weren't to actively participate in the discussion unless asked something, but thier first hand accounts of what happened at Cherry Ridge might prove to be useful. The two officers with Major Levy were Admiral Jake Castille, who had served on the CNS Pax Magellanic during the military intervention at Cherry Ridge, and Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack from the Office of Naval Intelligence, who'd been in command of the Colonial monitoring station on St. John Berchman's Isle until they had recently evacuated it. Levy smoothed out her red leather uniform jacket as Cardinal DeVito began to speak. Despite the noise of the 3 foot thick command centre door rising back into a closed position, Cardinal DeVito's voice could be heard clearly and audibly over the command centre speakers.

They bombed many parishes and inoceent people.

Lieutenant Commander Delmack felt the eyes of nearly everyone in the command centre focus on her as soon as her name was mentioned by the Cardinal. "Ofcourse Cardinal DeVito, I, ah.... I'm sure you had your reasons for what happened" said Delmack nervously, not expecting to be the first one that Cardinal DeVito would choose to address. "I'm just glad that the Colonial evacuation....er....departure from St. John Berchman's Isle occured safely with no one being hurt on either side" Delmack finshed. While Delmack did have a few years of experience with Naval Intel behind her, she had never spoken with a foriegn leader before. She slumped back into her chair as Cardinal DeVito moved onto his next topic. "You did a fine job." Admiral Castille whispered to Delmack as he noticed how nervous the younger officer seemed. Delmack gave a small nod of thanks to the Admiral as David Quincy began to speak, or more accurately, yell from the table infront of thiers.

"We never bombed anyone, that's a lie!" shouted David Quincy, practically jumping out of his chair. His wife Juliet put a reassuring hand onto his shoulder and eased him back into his seat. "The Protestents I've spoken to never bombed anyone." repeated David Quincy in a more subdued tone. "Yes, I will admit that there was some discussion of violence amoung those that were later evacuated to the Democratic Colonies, but no one actively pursued such a course of action, and it was only the most radical elements of the Protestent population that discussed it often in a serious manner." said David. President Lansdowne began to speak from his screen. "These 'radical elements' you mentioned Mr. Quincy, these would be the people that Tim Koweller led out of the Democratic Colonies shortly after they arrived?" he asked. "Yes, yes," nodded David Quincy before explaining to the Cherry Ridge officials. "You see Cardinal, when we all arrived in the Democratic Colonies, we were given a choice after about a month of living here in Andromeda Colony: we could either stay here as permanent residents, or if we wished, we could leave on a Colonial Airways passenger jet to wherever would take us. While nearly all of the Protestents decided to stay here in the Colonies, a small group of people, led by a man named Tim Koweller decided to leave. They felt that the Democratic Colonies wasen't suitable for them, they wanted a totally Protestent state. One of Koweller's followers was a pilot, so they requested a plane so they could fly themselves out to wherever they wanted. The Colonial Government gave them a plane of some kind, some kind of big passenger liner...." David gestured with his hands to indicate that he didn't really recall what kind of plane it was, but Tigress helpfully chimed in that it was a Boeing 777-E Super Long Distance Airliner. "Thank you Tigress," said David before continuing. "Anyways, they all got into this 777-E airliner, and we haven't heard from them since. They were the only ones seriously thinking of bombing places, and we don't even know where they are anymore." finished David Quincy, now short of breath.

Lieutenant Commander Claire Delmack nervously smoothed out her red leather jacket as she Cardinal DeVito once again addressed her. "I... Ah...." Delmack wasn't exactly sure of what to say. She took a quick glance over at Admiral Castille, who simply shrugged, and then at Major Levy, who did the same thing. "Ofcourse Cardinal DeVito, you may address me by my first name..." said Delmack. She wasn't sure if it was a breach of protocol or something, but she didn't want to risk an international incident by saying no. While the idea of it did seem a bit unusal for her, she would admit that it seemed like a rather harmless gesture... for now anyways. The command centre fell silent as the video Cardinal DeVito input about David Quincy began to play.

Once the tape was complete, the reaction on the Colonial side of things probably wasn't what Cardinal DeVito expected, since no one seemed paticularly bothered by it. "Cardinal DeVito, we've known about that incident ever since the Protestents arrived here in the Democratic Colonies" said President Lansdowne as Vice President Barbarossa discreetly ordered Tigress to check if the tape was a fake. President Lansdowne continued. "Mr. Quincy told us about the incident shortly after they landed. He went up to Major Levy, who you can see is seated to our left of Lieutenant Commander Delmack, and told her that he was, frankly, a little scared of Tim Koweller." President Lansdowne looked over to where Levy was sitting. "Major Levy, would you tell us exactly how it happened?" Major Levy nodded and began to speak. "Well sir, we'd just gotten off a C-2 Greyhound - we'd flown in on one from the CNS Pax Magellanic to Balmora International Airport. Anyways, we're getting off the plane, and a number of Colonial Security agents and airport staff were on the tarmac waiting for us. They had fresh drinks and the like for the Protestents, as well as baggage handlers to help them get what little belongings they had onto small trucks so they wouldn't have to carry it. David Quincy went over, helped his wife and and one of the baggage handlers get thier things onto a truck, and then immediately came over to where I was standing. I wasn't wearing my body armour anymore, or carrying my rifle, but Mr. Quincy says that he came over to me because my rank pin looked the most impressive to him." Major Levy smiled as she indicated the Major's Oak Leaf attached to her jacket lapel. "Mr. Quincy sounded pretty serious though, and he discribed to me pretty much what happened in that tape, and the rather extremist views of Tim Koweller and his followers. Mr. Quincy said that he was afraid of Mr. Koweller, and that he only said what he did because he was afraid that Mr. Koweller would shoot him otherwise. Afterwards, I passed up this information to the senior Colonial Security agent onscene, and I am told that Colonial Security kept a special eye on Mr. Koweller from that point on." David Quincy nodded in agreement with what Major Levy had said. "That's pretty much what happened," he said. "I only said what I did because I was afraid that Koweller would shoot me."

President Lansdowne then moved onto the matter of peace. "I'm glad that we all share peace as a goal" he said. "Basically, this is what the Democratic Colonies would like to see happen - either A) The people of Cherry Ridge are guarenteed the right to practice any religion they want, with no fear of punishment, a clear seperation of church and state, and no punishments for the following actions: homosexuality, although we respect your right to not recognize thier marriges, and abortion. While you may still ban abortions in your nation, if a woman goes out to international waters to get an abortion and then returns to Cherry Ridge, we'd like to see that be okay. Now, that's one thing we'd like to see, or B) You keep the laws you have now, but instead of killing people for crimes deemed against the church, you instead exile them to the Democratic Colonies. We'll send someone over to pick them up, and then they won't be your problem anymore. How's that sound to you? If plan A sounds like a bit too much for you, then I believe plan B is a good compromise. What do you think? Can we reach a compromise?" asked President Lansdowne.

1- If anyone destroys a church they will be arrested and detained for murder/attempted murder depending if they killed anyone or not, and probably a few lesser charges like vandalism and assault and punished as the Tribunal sees fit. Same as if they kill and Catholics or Priests.If they attack or kill government offcials that will be a count on murder/ assault of government offfcial. These are the regular laws for all, even Catholics. Please understand this.
2- The protestants will only be released to you if found innocent. Protestantrism isnt illegal, but they DO pay taxes but refuse to tithe to the church 10% which means evading a Lesser tax. Also, if they are pardoned (ooc-which I will most likly do though not always) ic- they will pay a fine for the expences (about 10 bills which = 10 US dollars) and released onto the military base where you will pick them up.
3- You will not attack me again and I will not attack.

President Lansdowne had a thoughtful look on his face as he considered Cardinal DeVito's offer.

"Your plan C is a step in the right direction, but we'd like a few changes to it" said Lansdowne. "We are totally fine with your first point, but we'd like you to consider a few changes with your other points." he continued.

"On your second point, we'd like all Protestent refugees currently in the Democratic Colonies to be pardoned, or atleast thier charges formally nullified. The Colonial Government will pay any fines or back taxes they might owe."

"We agree with the spirit of your third point and would accept that as a point on our eventual treaty, but we also have a fourth point we'd like to raise."

"We'd like to build a small office at your primary airport. Should any Cherry Ridge citizen come into the office seeking asylum, they will recieve it on the condition that they are not wanted for any serious crimes like the ones you mentioned above, and so can be flown out to the Democratic Colonies without interference by Cherry Ridge. Citizens would have to be allowed to freely enter the office without fear of being punished for just walking near the thing."

"How does this sound to you?" finished President Lansdowne.

OOC: Things seem to be going alright Derscon. It's not a physical conference though, only a video-conference. If you want to join, just RP yourself joining in - my AI Tigress will let you into the conference stream for all parties.

As well, I'd like to thank Siesatia, both OOC and IC for his continued support - it's good to know that you've still got our backs. I hope you'll be okay on Gaia, I'll try to track of your other RPs to see how you're doing.

EDIT: OOC: and I won't be opening a thread about the airport office if you decide to allow it. I'd just assume that it's working out fine and safely, and every once in a while someone will come in for one reason or another.

ooc-The guards would be for yuor protection. The internal intelligence would have his office inside the office building. He would just do a quick backround check before they were allowed to leave, as part of the process. Those will be the only CR interferance beside visits from CR offcials to see how the Colonials there are doing.
ic Barracks (really a luxary hotel) have been set up for free use by Colonials worknig in the office building to reside in.
The office will not be in the airport, but right outside the air port because we built a complex.
2 small offices, one for the regular staff and one smaller one for the CO's personal office (her secratarys etc.) barracks (the hotel) a landing pad for CR helicopters who would bring them to the airport. There is a small CR military outpost nextdoor wear the guards will reside.

Right now, the policy we want is that everyone who wants it would get it, unless they've commited a serious crime. Crimes like murder, rape, serious theft, terrorism, robbery, major tax fraud, etc. we'd hand back over to you, but if people have commited lower case stuff like petty shoplifting of materials under $200, traffic violations, tax fraud of under $200, etc. we'd like to see you allow them into the office. The Colonial staff there would decide if they would be granted asylum despite thier non-violent minor crimes. How about that?"

I'm just going to assume it's all working out fine unless you RP something happening to it, and because of that, I'd rather not assign Claire Delmack to it - I'd like to have her character go onto other RPs where the Office of Naval Intelligence might get involved.

And the Colonial Security Bureau I mentioned is like the FBI/Secret Service for me. A civilian security/law enforcement/protective/counter-terror agency.

He was dressed now in a red Cassock with a roman collar trimmed with red. His scarlet skullcap sat atop his head. his crimson ring glimmered in the light. he had a red cape on and his Croiser (staff) was in his hand. His pectoral cross hung from his neck. He was ready to sign the treaty. He had Father Juan Ortego type the treaty with all the agreements on the comuter. It read

section 2-a small complex had been built for Colonial use. It includes free use of a luxary hotel on the complex, 2 office buildings, a helocopter landing pad, and be protected by soldiers of Cherry Ridge in the army outpost next door.

section 3- All wanted criminals guilty of crimes in Cherry Ridge will be tried in Cherry Ridge and serve their sentance before being turned over to Democratic Colonies, unless pardoned by Cardinal DeVito. Those not guilty of any crimes will be allowed to leave.

section 4- all hostilities between these two nations will cease to happen.

*Aboard Colonial One, 777 Presidential Transport Aircraft*

The massive aircraft underwent a few bumps of turbulence as it descended towards Cherry Ridge's national airport. Another aircraft, a 747 followed Colonial One down to land as a few raindrops began to pelter the runways they were headed to. A squadren of F-111D Ultra Aardvarks from the Colonial Airforce had escorted the airliners out from the Democratic Colonies, but were holding position outside of Cherry Ridge airspace as the unarmed aircraft continued in.

Onboard Colonial One, Senior Agent Sam Porter and Rachel Ledford were seated in comfortable leather seats as the aircraft came in to land. "Looks like we're almost down" said Porter as he pulled his pistol out from his shoulder holster and chambered a round. "Do you really need that thing?" asked Ledford as Porter put the gun back under his black leather jacket and into his shoulder holster. "Probably not, but I guess we're about to find out." replied Porter as the screech of the plane's tires hitting the runway tarmac could be heard. "I want to my gun ready for action incase I do need it afterall" continued the agent as Colonial One taxied to a stop. "Welcome to Cherry Ridge - don't forget your manners" said President Lansdowne as he emerged from a corridor behind where Porter and Ledford were seated. The pair immediately jumped up to attention, but Lansdowne waved them back down. "At ease you two, at ease" he said. "If you're both ready, I'd like to get off this plane and over to the treaty signing as soon as possible." Porter and Ledford nodded that they were ready, so President Lansdowne ordered the doors off the 777 immedately opened so that they could depart. A few sedans and a black limo were waiting for them as they walked off the plane, surrounded by a phlanx of security agents.

The ride over to the treaty signing was short and uneventful, although there was much commentary about the stunning churches and cathedrals that were plentiful in Cherry Ridge's capitol. The small convoy of vehicles stopped as a pair of security agents stepped out from the limo President Lansdowne was in. Reporting that everything looked clear, Lansdowne led Porter and Ledford out of the vehicle and over to where the treaty would be signed.

The flashbulbs of news cameras went off as President Lansdowne shook Cardinal DeVito's hand and introduced Senior Agent Porter and Rachel Ledford. Turning to address the gathered news cameras, President Lansdowne began to speak. "Here's to peace and liberty for all. May prosperity and a bright future be bestowed upon both Cherry Ridge and the Democratic Colonies and may we co-exist in peace." he said before signing his name on treaty papers. He then stepped aside for Cardinal DeVito to do the same.

Cardinal DeVito signed the treaty it now looked like this

We the undersigned, representing our nation, do promise that our nation wil agree to these terms

Section 1-If anyone destroys a church they will be arrested and detained for murder/attempted murder depending if they killed anyone or not, and probably a few lesser charges like vandalism and assault and punished as the Tribunal sees fit. Same as if they kill and Catholics or Priests.If they attack or kill government offcials that will be a count on murder/ assault of government offfcial. These are the regular laws for all, even Catholics. Please understand this.

section 2-a small complex had been built for Colonial use. It includes free use of a luxary hotel on the complex, 2 office buildings, a helocopter landing pad, and be protected by soldiers of Cherry Ridge in the army outpost next door.

section 3- All wanted criminals guilty of crimes in Cherry Ridge will be tried in Cherry Ridge and serve their sentance before being turned over to Democratic Colonies, unless pardoned by Cardinal DeVito. Those not guilty of any crimes will be allowed to leave.

section 4- all hostilities between these two nations will cease to happen.

He saw the gyards nervous look
"Calm down, I know you chambered a round. They always do. No need to be nervous."
The guard became embarressed.
The two leaders ten went inside the Cardinalatial Palace.
President Landsowne was marvelled at its beauty.
His 2 guards followed.

The Cardinal whispered something to a CR soldier. The soldier grabbed the gun from Porter. The Cardinal open the chamber and pulled out the round.
"HA HA told ya"
Porter was again embarresed.


Then the Internal intelligence agent and Captain Rogosto.
"I am Mr. Antonio Riviera said the intell agent. I will be working closly with you Ms. Ledford."
"I am Captain Rogosto, I will be working with you Mr. Porter.
Riviera had on a black suit, rogosto had on his dress uniform.

After speaking to the press all sat down for a feast.
I attendece was
Landowne, Porter, Ledford,Riviera, Rogosto and Cardinal DeVito.
Tehn walked in his two auxillary bishops.
"I'm Bishop Blackwood.Call me blackie" said one of them.
"I am Bishop O' Reilly, call me bishop."
"Very Well said the Colonials."

The feast was then over.

OOC: If it's okay with you, I'd like this to be pretty much it for this story line. I don't really see where we could go from here.

Semi-IC list of events that occured after:

- Staff of 44 office staff from the Colonial Department of Foriegn Affairs offloaded from 747 at airport, assigned to Colonial Refugee Registration Office at Cherry Ridge.

- Staff of 30 agents from the Colonial Security Bureau offloaded from 747 at airport, assigned to Colonial Refugee Registration Office at Cherry Ridge. Armed with standard issue Colonial sidearm (OOC: info below), body armour available in emergencies but usually not worn.

- Various computer equipment, furniture offloaded from 747 for offices.

- President Lansdowne departs onboard Colonial One, meets up with escort fighter squadren, returns to Democratic Colonies.

- Office is established, everything works out fine unless you wish to RP some problems later.
