Earlier this week, the Principality of Bryn Shander's space forces completed testing of their newest weapon, the MF-01A Firestorm. Although nowhere as versitile and manuverable as traditional mobile weapons, the Firestorm can get in, unleash hell, and get out before the target knows what happened. Although it is a spacecraft, it can make emergency atmospheric re-entry in one peice and operate in an atmosphere, it's performance will be severely limited and landing outside water will be nigh impossible.

The MF-01A is the Principality of Bryn Shander's newest mobile weapon. Designed for hard and fast hit and run tactics, the Firestorm sports powerful thrusters and weapons that put even the Musai and Chivvay cruisers to shame. Unfortunately, the speed and firepower come at a price. The Firestorm suffers from light armor and limited maneuverability, as well as a somewhat short operation time. In an effort to compensate, a pair of 12-tube missile launchers have been mounted on the rear of the craft to protect from anyone attempting to attack from behind. Only time will tell whether or not this new design will be a success.

No and No. Perhaps in the future both will change, but for now this is only a display of my nation's new toy.

Nice...but I do think that the weapons are a little too much to handle for a mobile weapon this size...(I mean, 4 + 8 Mega Particle Cannons? I thought only Mobile Suits could handle that kind of power load...)

Say, are you a fan of any Gundam series by any chance?

The only MS that could handle a loadout like this would be the more powerful Titans MS from the Gryps war. This is closer to the power of a fragile MA with fewer moving parts.

The MF-02A Sparrow is the Principality of Bryn Shander's first mobile weapon capable of operating equally well in both Earth's atmosphere and space. Designed to be as versitile as possible, it sports four bomb racks on the underside of it's wings, as well as a pair of 20mm cannons and 40mm vulcans that can be armed with either AP, HE, or Frag rounds. In addition, the Sparrow has a pair of built in mega particle guns for added firepower.

Most importantly, the Sparrow is fully capable of re-entring Earth's atmosphere completely unassisted, as well as entering orbit. Furthermore, it is equipped with variable angle engines, making the MF-02A capable of full VSTOL flight and highly manuverable. As an added saftey measure, the wings past the engines as well as the jet engines and tails can be ejected in an emergency, allowing the pilot to use the rocket engine and remaining wings as an escape pod. To aid in storing the Sparrow, it's wings can fold back to take up less space. For armor, the Sparrow uses 5" thick Lunar Titanium, which is more than enough to protect against all but the most powerful AA guns and missiles.
