Sino, have any weapons for my Imperial Guadsmen of Taiping and Beijing?
For the Imperial Guardmen, SIMINCORP (after consultations with the military) has recommended the following:
Guard/watch towers/trenches:
Most of these weapons are crew served and are at best be fired in fixed positions.
Heavy machinegun: QJY-88 (5.8x42mm)
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/crewserved/qjy88_mg58_1.jpg
Qualities include compatibility with the standard issue weapons in terms of ammo and a box magazine that holds up to 300 rounds. Operates at an optimal range of -1000m. The 11.4kg mass ensures some degree of mobility, should that need arise.
AAMG: Type 89 (12.7mm)
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/crewserved/type89_mg127_1.jpg
Supplementary to AAA and SAMs, the Type 89, when armed with Type 84 APDS and Type 89 HE AP incendiary rounds, can take out not only helicopters, but also infantry and light vehicles within a range of 1500m. Mobility is limited due to its 26.3kg mass but lethality is ensured. The magazine is designed for 50 rounds of total destruction.
Grenade launcher: Type 87 (35mm)
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/crewserved/qlz87_mg35_2.jpg
As mentioned in an earlier post. The 12 round drum is recommended for fixed positions.
Motars: Type 89 (100mm)
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/crewserved/type71_m100_1.jpg
This weapons is capable of ranges of 7000m. The arming of laser-guided HE rounds ensures that enemy vehicles will be kept at bay or forced to charge within the ranges of MGs and the Type 87 grenade launchers.
ATGMs: HJ-8L
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/artillery/antitank/hj8_2.jpg
The latest variant in a family of successful design and decorated service, the HJ-8L has a 4000m range and a 90+% hit capability. The solid propellants ensure ease and safety of storage.
Infantrymen:
AR: Type 87A (5.8X42mm)
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/individual/type87_rifle58_2.jpg
The Chinese answer to the M16 is best issued with a 75 round catridge drum to ensure an almost endless supply (It is universal annoyance to change mags in the heat of battle!). Slap on a telescopic sight and the range will grow to 600m.
SAW Type 87:
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/individual/type87_rifle58_1.jpg
Rifles and SAWs are a family affair.
Sidearm: QSZ-92 (9x19mm DAP-92)
http://world.guns.ru/handguns/qsz-92-9.jpg
Please note a previous reference. We recommend underbarrel laser designators for accuracy.
SMG: Type 85-IIWS
http://www.ndu.edu/nwc/nwcCLIPART/FOREIGN_MIL_EQUIPMENT/Small_Arms/ChineseType85SubMG.jpg
Also previously referred. The WS designates Wu Sheng (silenced). We do not believe that shotguns are useful in palaces as their messy spreads can cause unnecessary damage to the precious interior.
Sniper rifles
For the best there is, foreign systems are by still superior:
http://www.snipercentral.com/m82.htm
http://www.snipercentral.com/psg1.htm (The ROCA are armed with those.)
SIMINCORP does not manufacture sniper rifles of such expense.
Swords: Kang Zhan Da Dao (75cm)
http://www.swallow.com.tw/military/images/chinese/ch0041b.jpg
Although swords and machetes are even older than our grandparents, the Great Anti-Japanese machete used commonly by both the ROCA and PLA during those years of national struggle will provide an image of historical coolness and foster a pride for the nation's history.
Not exactly a complement to the sidearm, but it will be an addition to the soldier's fashion and who knows, it may even scare the sh*t out off any visiting Japs. At close quarter engagements without firearms, show no mercy!
The reason why no LAWs were recommended is because no Chinese system matches the U.S. ones!
Xiaguo's thinkers should recommend a price, prior to our modification of one.

OOC:
*Holding back the laughter* Yeah! Sterlings (L2A3s)!
Seriously, Stens and Sterling are some of the ugliest SMGs ever made. I don't see the point in having a magazine that sticks out on the side of the weapon.
IC: Try the SIMINCORP Type 85-IIs. Their ammo is just as compatible.

What, you'd rather have a pretty machine who's purpose it is to kill people?
And the side magazine idea is good because it's easier to attach the magazine.
Guess I'll upgrade to the Sterling.

OOC:
Weapons have no nationality or cause, they were born in factories and live their lives of killing and destruction. I don't give a crap about the 'beauty', but Stens are just incredibly strange looking. As for the side magazine idea, it decreased the compactness and concealment capabilities.
For quality and reliability, I would go for the Chinese firearms as everyone of them has waterproofing and rust resistance in mind. The Type 56 (AK-47) could be submersed in mud for a month in 'Nam and still fire like brand new. If you try that with an M16, the results would be catastrophic!

No good for cities or woods, but deadly in LRR terrain (hilly but open, like the british isles).
You really have to pick your ATGMs. The LRRA prefers long-range weapons for stopping tanks way out there. The Sinoese army, which might fight in closer terrain, would probably find their shorter-ranged weapons more adequate for the conditions at hand.
And you really have nothing to fear from LRR. We've got no bombers, a tiny offensive naval force, and an army that can only deploy overseas in three RO/RO ships.
Unless you invade, of course.

SIMINCORP have produced a garden variety of artillery systems ranging from 122mm to 203mm and an MLRS of 230mm caliber. Urban warfare is not just emphasized by doctrine and strategy. Most troops prefer classic battlegrounds of open fields, free of obstacles and hideouts.
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/artillery/tubeartillery/type89_122_sp_3.jpg
Despite our tanks armed with a 125mm smoothbore capable of firing ATGMs, there's also its cousin, the Type 89 120mm tank destroyer. Type 89s saw extensive action in Xinjiang recently, busting countless T-90s.
http://www.sinodefence.com/army/artillery/antitank/type89_120_td_4.jpg
Most of the current MBTs stand no chance against the Type 89 at ranges of 2000m, futher than that it becomes like any other MBT.
We also have a fair number of WZ-11 attack helicopters to supplement the ground forces in tank busting, not to mention the ARSAF's emphasis on air superiority.

Those uniforms have high visibility compared to today's BDUs anyway, so its a bad equipment choice made by your armaments advisors.

It has a 50 round helical magazine (similar to the Calico) and is compatible with a 15 round curved box magazine. The ammunition has been confirmed to be 9x19mm (or Chinese DAP92 AP). Performance includes 500m/s muzzle velocity and a range of 150-200m.
