A new gene-based technology may soon allow computer terminal code-entering to be able to alter a certain biological weapon, so that it only is effective to certain DNA.

Experts say that the Bio-DNA2 project will open a window into the world of DNA, as well as deadly biology.

When the virus was exposed to a specific computer-entered DNA, the person's cells reacted almost immediately after exposure, according to Furor Atlantean army scientists, and the combination of genes expressed is unique for each biological agent. So by examining gene expression, it is possible to rapidly identify the agent, as well as the level of exposure, as well as tailor treatment accordingly.

Itra Taj, at the Biological Institute of Research in Helike, and colleagues identified unique patterns of gene expression in primates and pigs following exposure to a range of bioterror agents. They believe a handheld test for humans could be developed within a year or two.

This extremly effective virus can be used to "stamp out the threat, and only the threat" when trying to kill enemy prison guards, hidden terrorists, or people who have taken hostages WITHOUT killing any allies, innocent civilians, or prisoners of war. The DNA of specific people can be fairly easily to find on the internet, then uploaded onto the computer, and then exported into the nuclear membrane of the bacterial cells used in the virus. The virus becomes ineffective against any living thing that doesn't carry the same DNA combination that it does.

Although not fully completed, government funding has increased, and according to officials, the project BioDNA2 is well on its way to success, and when finished would roughly cost around 52 million medis to maintain and operate effectively.
