Day 1, 0800 Hours

A man in a dark suit walked quickly up a mountain trail. He had just come from the military port nearby. He had come directly from Havana on a special trip for the Alpha Fleet. He had arrived at the barrack complex only yesterday, and had then been woken up very early by one of his aides. He was given exact directions by a high-ranking general in the army, and he had immediately set out on the trail.
He had watched the sun rise as he walked the long distance. He was now regretting his decision to wear his suit, as it was extremely uncomfortable. He was beginning to wonder where he was and if he was lost when he saw the side trail that was described to him. “Not long now,” he muttered under his breath. He had been told he only had a mile to go up the side trail before he was done.
And indeed, it was a mile, almost exactly. He came to a small panel with a slot on it, built into the rock on the side of a ridge. “Finally,” he said with exhaustion. He pulled out a key card that had his picture on it along with details about him a something that said “Level Five Clearance” in bold red letters. He slid the card into the slot and was greeted by a beeping sound and then the releasing of air pressure as the airtight door slid open.
He was amazed. He had not even seen the crack in the rock, as it would have taken a high-powered microscopic to see it. He took his card and walked in. The door automatically shut behind him. He used the same process with the key card on the door in front of him. He walked into a small white room. The door shut with a thud. Suddenly he was blasted with a huge burst of cold air. Just as soon as the blast had started, it stopped, only to have a powerful vacuum come on. Just when he thought all of the air would be sucked out of the room and he would suffocate, the air stopped. The door in front of him then opened quickly.
He stepped slowly through, to be met by a dozen special ops agents armed to the teeth. “Hello sir, we hope you had a nice trek up here. We will have to scan you and fingerprint you before we can let you through,” the commanding officer of the group quickly stated. The process went slow. The operatives used the “Magic Wand”, sent him through a detector, and patted him down expertly. “You are clean sir. Sorry for the inconvenience.” The captain backed away from the door leading to the complex.
The man walked forward through the door and into the luxurious lobby area that looked like it had come straight out of a five-star hotel. He looked at all of the scientists walking by and observed the signs over the corridors they were coming to and from. There were a total of seven corridors. One corridor had a sign reading “Virus Levels 1,2,3”, with others reading “Artic and Arid Biomes”, “Tropical and Temperate Biomes”, “Executive Quarters”, “Living Quarters”, “Virus Levels 4,5”, “Mess Hall”, and finally, a foreboding sign that read “Classified Personnel Only, Intruders will be Detained”.
He had a level five security clearance level, so he could go anywhere in the compound, but right now he needed to go to the Executive Quarters to meet the operator of the facility. He walked to the door and inserted his card, and then stepped in. As soon as he entered, he was met by an aide. “Right this way, sir. I will show you to Mr. Goldstone immediately.” The man led him through twisting hallways to the executive office. “This is Mr. Goldstone’s office. You may go in now,” the aide stated before scurrying away.
The man watched the aide until he was out of sight. Then he turned to the door. The knocked three times. “Come in,” shouted a voice from the other side. He walked through the door. “Ah, Mr. Kaldin, how nice of you to meet me at my humble research facility,” stated Goldstone. “Research facility? More like a liability! I thought you said the viruses here were contained safely! And now I hear about an entire village across the border dying out mysteriously? I know you have to be responsible for this,” Eric Kaldin, the Secretary of Defense said angrily. “Oh sir, but we do have it contained. We meant to release it there. What are a few people dead for the better of science,” Goldstone replied calmly. “Science? Science?! The thing you are doing here is not science! You are killing people and causing plagues of death on innocent civilians! For the better of a war machine? This operation would not be going on if I had a say in it,” Eric continued. “Ah, but there is the catch, Eric. You don’t have a say in it. And while you are here, you might as well take the tour,” said Goldstone before he walked out the door.
Eric followed him silently. They soon got to the lobby. “Ah, here, we have our beautiful lobby. Over there, we have the low level viruses, levels one, two, and three. And over here we have the higher level viruses, four and five. We have biomes in two places, to test how long the viruses can last in different environments. And, here, here we have the Special Projects,” stated Goldstone as he pointed to the “Classified” corridor. “That is where we are going right now.” Eric followed as they went through another decontamination chamber and getting Hazardous Material suits. “Here we are experimenting with splicing viruses. And we will soon come to our brainchild, Nemesis, a cross between the Black Plague and the Ebola Virus.” Goldstone said proudly.

OOC: I will try to make more posts, and please do not say w there are spies in the facility, as all of my men are loyal and there is no contact with the outside anyway. No one can leave without special orders from the president and all employees are scanned and searched for espionage equipment. By the way, if you want to know what this is for, I am crazy and bored. I thought it would be a cool idea.

Day 1, 1000 Hours

Good God, man, are you insane,” Eric questioned angrily. “That virus could wipe out an entire continent! It would be more destructive than a hundred nuclear bombs! Do you have any idea what you are doing?”
“Of course I know what I am doing. I am protecting Binthor from communist scum and fascist pigs. And of course I know that it is dangerous. That is why the vaccine that we made will be injected into every Binthorian citizen in a mandatory shot. They will be told it is for a common sickness. Nemesis will not affect a victim for three days, but it will spread during that time. No device except ours can detect it in those three days and it will take a country too long to come up with a specialized vaccine for it. We can unleash the plague on our enemies to kill and on anyone else to sell the anti-virus to for trillions,” Goldstone explained. “There is only one problem,” replied Eric. “The president will never stand for this.”
“Oh, that is a simple problem. We will get rid of him… And we will get rid of you,” Goldstone said with a smile as he pulled out a Desert Eagle.

OOC: Sorry for the short post. I don’t have much time to type. I have a post about twice as long as this written, I just have to type it tomorrow. Until then…

It wasn't across the Argentinan border, it was at our Swaziland border. And I got the telegram. I'm working something out right now.

OOC: Naturally assumed that since your working in the Tierra De Fiego that that across the border would mean my border. Ebola and Plague nice mix only bad thing is that Plague is a bacterium and Ebola is a virus thus making them incompatable if mixed together. Try something like an airborne strain of ebola. Thats deadly enough. Or don't laugh, a virulent strain of the 1918 Spanish Flu. That killed more people in one year than Ebola or Plague ever have in one year. 24 million people dead in one year. Quite intresting. Never sounds very good though. I'm attacking you with FLU BOMBS.

OOC: So I don't ruin this RP, I'm going with this that I picked up off the internet:
Recently the scientists Susan Scott and Christopher Duncan from Liverpool University have proposed the theory that the Black Death might have been caused by an Ebola-like virus, not a bacterium. Their rationale is that this plague spread much faster and the incubation period was much longer than the plagues caused by Yersinia pestis. (A longer period of incubation will allow carriers of the infection to travel farther and infect more people than a shorter one. When the primary vector is humans, as opposed to birds, this is of great importance.) Studies of English church-records indicate an unusually long incubation period in excess of 30 days which could account for the rapid spread, topping at 5 km/day. It also took place in completely ratless areas like Iceland. It was transferred between humans (which happens rarely with Yersinia pestis), and some genes that determine immunity to Ebola-like viruses are much more widespread in Europe than in other parts of the world.

OOC: Thank you. I didn't know that. While although it would be hard to find the exact virus that caused the plague nowadays I wont interfere in this RP. Thanks for the info though.

OOC: gm. Godmod. But he doesn't know thatm we have major financial support from another bigger nation. I'm just ignoring him anyway, because it is not gonna be used. He's just coming into my topic and wasting space. It is a closed RP for now.

OOC: I'm not wasting space. You've mixed two incompatable viruses, as has been stated already, and have given them affects that don't match with the diseases. You basically said that it's undetectable, it'll kill you all, and I can do this because I have money from some big guy, even if I don't have the technology.
