I am compiling a list of major NS events that have happened, wars, and various different RP's.

This is going into NS's unofficial library, which is being built (the "World History Library" - http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=347501)

The site for it is under construction at the moment, so until then, the list will be posted by RP'ers in this thread.

So, post any major RP's or other major events on NS (IC events, of course)

My AIM for NS is USSRNS. Been around since Nov 26th, 2002 (first nation) and been in almost all major events. It might take a few hours, but I am willing to help.

Whittier Pact stabalizes Middle East by stopping Al Anbar invasion of Gulf states in early April, 2004. IDF appears on world stage during Mid EAst conflict.

Could write about the Hattarian conflicts.

The Acigoo Incident
Many older nations should remember this. It started around November of 2003 I believe, and came back two or three times since then. It has since been irradicated off the earth. Unfortunately, I cannot give links to this, because they were on the old forum. :-(

But, here's what I remember of it:
Acigoo came to Earth via a meteoroid. I do not remember what nation it landed it, as that was long ago. I do know that it no longer exists, though.
Acigoo was an acidic goo which would constantly grow, and could terraform the landscape. At first, it started growing, and the nation asked for help. ViZion was the first on the scene, followed rather quickly by many, many others upon their hearing of this goo that was growing. By the time scientists started arriving, it has started terraforming the desert, and made a lake.

With (NS) days, single-celled creatures started forming, and day after day, they got more and more advanced. As the creatures started getting large and strong, they turned on the humans. By this time, some goo had been taken, and we had to force those nations to give it up. (I'm tryin to make a long story short... so, Acigoo nations, the original ones, please feel free to share your experiences!)

We thought we had gotten all of it, and destroyed it. But, later, it resurfaced on the black market, causing a massive war, which led to the Egypstanian Wars. (Nations who were involved at that time, please share your experiences)

One of the biggest events in NS history was the organization of the Global Summit on Raiderplay and Defensive Operations in May of this year. The raider organization DEN, commanded by General Collin Powell, organized a meeting of the major raider and defender alliances in the game for the purpose of drafting player-created limitations on raiding operations throughout NS. The attending organizations included raider regions DEN, A Better Colonial Ambition, Dark Axis Alliance (and several others), and the defender alliances attending included representatives from the ADN, TITO, RLA, LRA, EAA and GLA (along with several smaller organizations.) The Summit also included several "independent" regions that were interested in how raider and defender organizations operated in the game. I recall much of the excitement and discussion throughout NS about this Global Summit, and understood the respective organizations to have achieve an agreement that they termed the Global Accord on Raiderplay and Defensive Operations. You can find further information about this Accord and the GS by contacting General Powell in DEN II or New Florence Marie in El Cheapo Resort and Day Spa.

That may be important, but I doubt that was one of the largest events in NS history.

Well, one of the bigger events [for me at least] was the Coalition war, which took place just about a year ago pretty much exclusively off the southern coast of Dor Daedoloth. Apparently, an economic coalition [the UTP] decided it would be cool to throw the largest naval fleet I've ever seen at me and hope it did something bad.

Unfortunately, I fight dirty. Detonating a fleet of oil tankers about a mile or so out to sea, I lit the oil slick with a Sky Furnace and laughed as the coalition had trouble finding a way round the enormous wall of flame between their ships and my coast. The rest of the war was pretty much uneventful, at least from a strategic standpoint. The coalition had their balls spoon fed to them, if I say so myself :p

Most of the big stuff that happens with me tends to be... well, wars. My largest offensive victory came in the form of an invasion bid against All Elves, who I guess was crushed by my assault, since they did little or nothing after the war [though I've since been informed it was due to RL circumstances, of course]. Then there's the EOTED invasion attempt, which was halted largely due to OOC pressure from about a dozen people, who probably regretted talking me down later. The Nargothrond fell during this conflict, killing about 20 million EOTED citizens near the coast, and causing billions of dollars worth of damage. Since then I've ICly been more than a little frustrated with Titan, after having been promised neutrality in the conflict.

Other important events in my history include the defection of Xaosis [who was at the time my largest defense contractor], the formation of Metus, and the completion of Aurontel and Horizon.

WW4, A great war which had so many nations involved and so many wars. It was the invasion of Russian Forces by GDODAD. Amazingly AMF was there to defend Russia from GDODAD before he joined them. The GDODAD armies were defeated by Joint forces of AMF, RF, Pure Evil and Imperial Forces. Brotherhood of Nod was invaded in the process but the allies withdrawed when truce declared.

Another grand war series was the ADK Wars. One had somewhere around a couple of thousand posts and lasted for a month. It ended with a victory and destruction of ADK. Dr twist was formed out of the remnants of ADK in the balkans. It involved RF and numerous amount of allies.

Then recently the War against Austar Union. RF and Unified sith forces stormed into poland and conquered germany. Victory for us. It was then split up between Unified sith, Aust and RF.

These wars deserved recognition.

Hattarian Wars

The Anglo Hatarian War:
Whittier, backed by the forces of The Whittier Pact. Declared a state of War between the Whittier Pact nations and Hataria because of Hataria's prievous warmongering attempts, it was a mutual decision by the whole of The Whittier Pact, and became the first War in the pacts History. It would end in a resounding victory for the Pact, but with controversial consequences revolving around nations not in the pact. It was the start of a bitter Cold War against Hataria and his ally - Hatarian Mammalia, that has only recently benefited from increased diplomatic exchange.

The Whittier Pact was also backed by Communist Louisiana and The Parthians - The first assault was a massive Air Campaign against The Hatarian homelands, only faced with experimental, unreliable weapons such as the 'death ray' Hataria could offer no defense as NWV and IDF attacked with TLAMS and Tactical Tomahawks. However, Hataria's later attempts to use WMD (which were cut down by The Parthians) were met with a controversial response from some members of the pact, such as Doomduckistan and Ruthless Slaughter, who dropped Nuclear Missiles on Hataria's Capitol and other major cities, and NWV's dropping of over 1,000,000lb's worth of explosives from 20 B52's, this, along with the Nuclear Attacks and strategic attacks of IDF, left the Capitol in ruins.

The end result was the complete destruction of his Ground Army - whose only major battle against IDF, Whittierian and NWV Armored Divisions with Swordsmen ended in a loss for Hatarian Forces who were decimated under the weight of M1A2's and ST-11's. After this Hataria was unable to launch any kind of effective campaign against the Whittier Pact nations Military forces on the ground. The Navy was immobilized from any kind of effective operation early on in the Battle when NWV and IDF launched a join TLAM and Tactical Tomahawk attack on his fleet headed towards The Whittier Pact Coalition's fleet. This was further compounded by Whittier attacking his ships by Air - Naval Operations were thus rendered incapable for Hataria.

Hataria's small Air Force - Comprimising of a tiny number of F22's, was also cut down early in the campign by escort fighters. Attempts to bomb The Whittier Pacts Fleets also resulted in the destruction of a large proportion of his Airforce as they were Intercepted by Planes off of 2 NWV Carriers and 3 IDF Carriers. Any Air operations after this moment by Hataria would be impossible - as most of the air force in question had been destroyed by the small conflicts mentioned above as well as The Deployment of Gunboats around his coast. This complete Land, Air and Sea superiority lead to a quick victory for the Whittier Pact and her allies as Hataria's military capabilities were reduced to sneak attacks and use of 'Hatarian Swordsmen'.

Attempts to rebuild Hataria by The Whittier Pact nations were met with aggression from what remained of the Hatarian Government - who attacked Trade Conveys and force NWV to abandon his rebuilding plans for the nation. The nation was left in a quagmire, a radioactive wasteland. This was not helped by rogue elements in the NWV Nuclear Services launching an ICBM at a makeshift shanty town in what remained of the Capitol - approximately 150,000 people died in this attack. And estimates suggest 5 - 6 million Hatarians in total (though estimates are sketchy due to lack of cooperation from Hataria).

Hataria became a procterate of Canan and recieved funding under the peace treaty terms until he could fend for himself, he was later applauded for his efforts to sell his WMD stockpile (Although he could find few buyers). Ruthless Slaughter was put on trial but failed to attend for the second day of Court Attendence, and Hataria slowly edged its way back into the International Community, though the actions of its ally, Hatarian Mammalia, would put it at grave risk of invasion again. Ultimately, victory was assured by a far greater force in terms of numbers, technology and capability.

The avalanche of terrorists (the good ones) definantly deserves a place there.

World War Three (Amerigan Slave War)
Date: February 6, 2003 to February 21, 2003
Cause: The use of slaves by the nation of Amerigo.
Plot: The conflict began when the Republic of Syskeyia blockaded Amerigo for the latter country's selling of slaves. Soon theafter, anti-slaver nations, including Texarnica, Aerigia, Chimaea and Cucolo, joined in the blockade. Other, pro-slavery or pro-soverignty nations, inlcuding Melkor Unchained and The Water Cooler, sided with Amerigo and an undeclared naval war happened. There was one exception to this: the Empire of The Eternal Dawn. EOTED fought for neither side, but nontheless was involved; they fought an Intervention War, with small success, and parted the sides slightly for a brief period of time towards the end of the war - but only at sea. During this time, several attempts were made at peace, including Ineptia's unsuccessful attempt to buy all the slaves for emancipation, and an aborted peace conference at the port city of Liasa. Still, attempts at peace were made while forces escalated. Finally, Amerigo declared war on the blockading nations. Iesus Christi and the Reich struck first, initiating a campaign of terror thoughout the Pacific country. Soon therafter, join Syskeyian-Chimaean-Rastonian forces made their assault, stopping just short of the city of Jungle Falls. A kilotonne-range nuclear device is rumoured to have been let off in the Bay of Amerigo, towards the end of the war, either by EOTED or Tahar Joblis. It is unclear exactly which nation unleashed the nuclear weapon, although public opinion tends towards Tahar Joblissian usage.
Results: In the middle of the war, the Amerigan government fell (usually this means the end of the war, but oh well) and, after the Reich had sent all its troops (and numerous deported Amerigans) back to their shores, an Amerigan general seized power and abolished slavery as a program of Communism. The remaining anti-slavery forces subsequently withdrew.

World War Four
Date: March 20, 2003 to March 29, 2003
Cause: Imperial Forces, Russian Forces, Pure Evil, and COKEKILA were annoyed with the GDODAD and its policies. They decided to attempt and take GDODAD out. They called themselves "The Allies", and started the war, contrary to popular belief, the GDODAD only defended itself.
Plot: Imperial Forces invaded the nation of Slavrov. GDODAD drove IF out of Slavrov. While GDODAD was offline the Allies nuked Danneland to hell. Tensions grew, and 2 Miles Past Nowhere and the ISAF were considering to join the war. Ambassadors were sent to the ISAF and 2MPN, and ended up with the GDODAD signing a treaty with 2MPN, and Santa Barbara joining the GDODAD. Klamath "seceded" from the GDODAD, but really went undercover into the ISAF and created havoc on their forums. Allies invaded the Brotherhood of Nod, but GDODAD forces joined in and helped drive them off what little ground they had taken.
Results: Stalemate. Heavy losses on both sides.

Midnight-Anti Ragnarok War
Date: April 1, 2003 to April 4, 2003
Cause: Tensions finally break when Blueville and Kellerville make a pact to destroy Midnight.
Plot: Kellerville, Blueville, and Satanic Balloons invaded Killswitch Engage, Blitz-Krieg, and Diamond Sabre in a matter of days (real life: 2 hours! Steel Butterfly was on a fieldtrip from April 1 through April 3rd) In the second battle, Bivens, with their pre-emptive strike, liberated Diamond Sabre and forced Blueville into retreat while killing 2 million Blueville troops. (Over half of their army) Walten, Maxter, and Crimmond fend off Kellerville, and launched missiles at their capital. In the 3rd battle, Satanic Balloons was caught without it’s allies. Bivens gets most of the credit here, but Diamond Sabre really made a name for himself with his assassinations of the evil Satanic Balloons regime. Sigma Octavus destroyed supply and energy lines while Crimmond helped with the Bivens-led bombing of the capital. Satanic Balloons surrendered and Sigma Octavius joined the region of Midnight! (Steel Butterfly returns) Steel Butterfly was attacked Blueville in Blitz Krieg along with Bivens. Steel Butterfly then left and attacked Kellerville, while Blueville used chemical weapons against 1.5 million Bivens troops. Walten and Crimmond attacked Blueville along with Sigma Octavus who cut off supplies. Blueville’s leadership fled to Legian as the country was nuked by Steel Butterfly. Kellerville was forced out of Killswitch Engage and Blitz Krieg by Steel Butterfly and that made them liberated. All 4 countries continued to attack Kellerville until they surrendered. Only Legian was left. (In an 18 minute battle,) Steel Butterfly killed all 1.2 million Legian troops and their 150 planes. Diamond Sabre’s Phoenix Agents assassinated the leaders of Blueville and Legian. Sigma Octavus cut off all supplies to Legian. THE WAR WAS OVER!
Results: Sadly, this war didn’t end the tensions between the leaders of the two sects. While Anti Ragnarok dispersed, and some nations fled to the UPC, and some even to Midnight itself, they eventually regrouped into the infamous region known as…Sunlight.

Demonessian Civil War

Date: December 26, 2002 to January 1, 2003
Cause: The Empress of Demoness (the now deceased Jia Li) is only allowed to marry a priest, but she fell in love with her High Guard, Xel Nedia, who became a priest in order to be with her. However, the Council of Twelve (leaders of the Church of Demoness) refused to ordain him, and in retaliation, Jia Li fled the country. From various locations, including Meganekkonia, she made transmissions declaring that the whole system of government was a sham. The Council wanted rule for themselves, which is why they would only let the Empress marry a priest, and that she would like to start a democracy, etc.
Plot: Jia Li sneaked back into the country and contacted Xel with her plan. Unfortunately, the Council declared her a liar and presented another woman as the real Empress. She turned out to be Hikari, Jia Li's twin sister who was supposedly dead (but had no claim on the throne anyway). In order to salvage her plan, Jia Li challenged Hikari to a duel for the leadership of the country. On the day of the duel, a shot was fired by an assassin from Polynesian Free States, and chaos broke loose. Jia Li fled with Xel into the Catacombs while the country disintegrated around them. Akbar, Raevyn, Xen, Darkskye, and a few other countries sent in troops to help control rioting, but in the confusion, they were mistaken for invaders and the Demonessians returned fire. Jia Li somehow managed to regain control of the country and normality was restored.
Results: Over 100,000 Demonessians died alone; other casualties are unknown. Demoness closed its borders for a week and after reopening them, the Demonessians' appearance changed to that of Asian elves. A breeding program was started and other drastic changes in policy were incurred. Hikari fled to PFS, whom she later helped invade Demoness. Jia Li and Xel were married.

All Elves Conflict
Date: March 21, 2003 to April 17, 2003
Cause: A Nation of Elves was growing powerful, and they were pissing Melkor off. Old Rivalries.
Plot: Lord Melkor, wanting to test the mettle of his new Sky Furnaces, and eager to flaunt the increased battle prowess of his flagship carrier, the Gothmog, launched a pulverizing strike on the nation of All Elves. A total of 35 million troops [mainly Uruk Hai] were unleased on the unsuspecting nation, who, lacking international help, was quickly crushed under the grinding gears of Melkor's war machine. Contributing to the effort was a stellar Naval battle won by a coalition force of The Empire of Kalessin and The Orcish Horde. Melkor's Navy held off the EOTED Navy for the landings, and the Gothmog was crippled by the IDAS Raven and the IDAS Si Ling I, before the aft railgun popped a 3-ton incendiary shell into its bridge. The Sky Furnace Dor Daedoloth, then the only Gravship in Melkor's arsenal, displayed its true power by turning the city of Gondolin into a flaming, charred crater. Ever since the war, there have been irreparable blights and bogs around All Elves.
Results: All Elves is no more.

The One Ring Conflict
Date: February 9, 2003 to February 15, 2003
Cause: The One Ring announces creating of concetration camps for elves.
Plot: Following Sauron's announcement, a loose coalition of nations including members of the Triumvirate of Yut, the Ctan, Cetaganda, EOTED, and Menelmacar formed to attempt to save the elves from the death camps. Other nations, most notably Kn-Yan and Melkor Unchained (in its first military engagement) sided with Sauron on the grounds that outsiders had no right to interfer. Initially a peaceful resolution was attempted, most notably in a conference aboard the Ctani carrier Killing Time. However, fighting soon broke out, and Melkor's delegation, lead by the Maia Alkanphel Ancalagon, attempted to destroy the ship. Killing Time was heavily damaged. Soon, an all-out air war was underway, with air superiority being narrowly held by the Allies. Major landings at the main camp of New Auschwitz were soon made by TYCS and Cetagandan forces. The camp garrison was caught unawares, and in the ensuing the camp was taken with light Allied casualties. The Allied forces then formed a defensive line around the camp while massive air campaign was launched. Heavy fighting began as the airlift continued, with Melkor's forces leading the effort to retake the camp. After the camp was evacuated, Allied forces quickly withdrew and began to make plans to take other secondary camps. However, before this occured, the One Ring detonated an IGNORE weapon on itself, ending the conflict.
Results: Several million elves were succesfully rescued, although estimates put the death toll as high as a million. Included in these refugees were several thousand children that were sent to the Empire of Kalessin by Koania, which had been supporting the Allied effort. Concern over these children lead to a confence between the involved nations. Inspection delegations were sent by Kn-Yan and Cetaganda. The official reports say that nothing was wrong. An unofficial Cetagandan report says otherwise; the Kn-Yan delegation's leader died mysteriously. While the issue has ended for most nations, there are rumors that Cetaganda has a delegation meeting with Prince al Vvishak of Kalessin regarding the children, first at his palace and now at Orm Embar.

We are sure that it was destroyed. And I was one of the original Acigoo nations, but I forgot who all was involved. I can contact the ones I do remember and see if they will post what they remember about the Acigoo. And that'll explain why it's so hated.

I know my self and Vi were some of the acigoo nations. I'm sure most of them have started to leave NS since it was almost a year ago I think. And after the Acigoo War the last known suply of Acigoo poped up in a nation afew months later. And everyone hates acigoo becasue it was the casue of two wars that ended up claming nearly millions of people and totaling two nations.

Ah all I can truely recall was that my units suffered a 95% death rate in that war. Only about 50 of my troops lived through it. But the death toll was the highest I had ever seen. That was one brutal war.

There are a lot of major events, even if not everyone agrees or has heard of it...

Although, I am rather suprised that you haven't even heard of the Acigoo issues, or Egypstanian wars, related to Acigoo... it was quite big, and started in Aug, ended a couple months later it seems like, then reappeared a few times...

Mid October- The War between Random Kingdom and the United States of Nick.

Brief history (probably biased) Terrorist attacks in the USN forced their government to execute 300 people who were supposedly left-wing terrorists. Random Kingdom (us), new in the forums, aggravated the USN by claiming that the executed body were innocent, and placed propaganda on the airwaves. This led to a declaration of war from the USN, and the allies of Random Kingdom (we didn't really make an effort in the war) advanced. During the war we produced two peace treaties, one before and after the main declaration, one of which was declined, the other accepted. The USN surrendered, probably to save their own skin, and offered to release 2/3rds of their prisoners, which were shipped into RK as citizens. However, they soon demanded them back. This war played a large part in the USN elections later this month.

The Shivan Wars and the Sith Wars would be good ones; I mean the Sith Wars is going now and spans tons of threads; worlds have been destroyed, nations conquered, swathes of space subjugated...

The writing of Constitution of Holy Paradise:

A war started by Socialist Cockroaches for no discernible reason. Neither of us had a clear-cut advantage, but after awhile the tide started to turn in his favor, until a bunch of huge nations jumped to my aid, and we pummeled SC back to the Stone Age, occupied that nation, and divided it up among the victors.

I think everybody can agree that Feminany was one of the most important events in September, 2004.

Reasons:
Due to great financial unrest in the Western Province of the Ying Empire, 3 leaders, Min-Moon Ying, Jo-Mee Ying and Linyo Ying met in the city of Goldy to settle something in the way of a trade system between the many provinces. The 3 brothers were each the governor of their province, and their president at the time was Jo-Lin-Sing Kim. The brothers were long in favor of the president, but leader of the western province, Min-Moon, though that the leader should be overthrown, and the three brothers could rule the "throne" jointly among the 3 provinces. Linyo Ying disagreed, but Jo-Mee was fast on agreeing with the more powerful ally, The Eastern Province. Min-Moon was furious, and immediately left the building, and ordered an direct attack on Go-Chu city, the one on the border of the provinces, and in doing so, the president omitted the western province from the nation, forging into history the name of West Ying. The remaining provinces sought aid from the peaceful islands to the East, but they remained on their own side, remaining neutral. The "Lu-Min-Eye Battle" Which occurred in Cho-Min City, the main port of the Great Islands, where West Ying forced the islands into surrender, and made the islands part of west ying, and west ying pact. After that, it was basically battle after battle, until the Ko-Man-I-To Treaty, which "ended" the war, according to most. In the treaty, it ordered all administration from the West Ying Pact to be sentenced to war crimes in the first and fifth degree. Each of the leaders were allowed to take one last walk. Linyo Ying was elected president of "East Ying" and the old president, who had been assassinated, was held a memorial for. Then, what was known as the final battle, which occurred in the oceans on Hendin, and in the rural areas of the county of Koch-Man-Ying. This battle was the final battle of the pacts, but since the armies of the two "enemy" pacts was greatly weakened, the army of East Ying won. The Final treaty was signed, and sentenced the leaders all to death, except Linyo Ying, who was greatly honored for his General peacemaking duties in the war. The trade agreements and systems were laid out across the whole nation like previously planned, and the provinces of the land became united, so the events would not be repeated.

Early history:

Lizasaurs were native to a distant earth-like planet known today as "Athens" (named by First Waver Soviet socialists for being the only haven in which civillians could live since everywhere else was militarised at the time)

Through the course of time these creatures evolved into primitives who then built a giant yet primitive civilization with amazing temples like those of the Mayans and Aztecs, but like those tribes imperialism stained flooded the streets with blood. So basically the Gracians (a once holy church state corrupted by militant, belligerent. brainwashy radicals whom staged a coup and overthrew the monarchy) tried to use the South Lizasaurian refugees as corporate slaves and for experiments along with the usual brainwash. After the imperialists caught up and made a mess of things, as the bourgeoisie and Gracian and human politicans grew more abusive, finally after losing one war they returned later (Ch3) only now they overthrew the capitalists, imperialists and other undesirables in their nation and staged a Soviet revolution. The SL Alliance (South Lizasaurian Alliance of Soviet provinces) began, enraged and angry at what happened they invade Gracia thus starting the First Grecian war.


The last battle in the Grecian war ended in defeat for the SLs who were hopelessly outnumbered by Grecia when they called their Lesbanian allies for help, who were also the ones who developed the secret weapon the SL General found out about. Not until Admiral Warfrog (was a fleet captain by time this occurred) liberated the old territories a few generations later would the South Lizasaurian government understand this weapon and how to evade it.

After the First Grecian war, (http://z4.invisionfree.com/Time_for_Nintendo/index.php?showtopic=401) knowing their mind experiment with the Lizasaurs failed they ordered a genocide of their race which was prevented by oppressed humans against Gracia, since that moment for the first time ever man and lizasaur truly had a sybiotic relationship, together they stared the Reformist revolution which started out fascist due to conditions (spies, terrorists, dissenters, ect) but as thsoe died away they became more and more moderate until this new government evolved into the modern altruistic government that almost all South Lizasaurian provinces look to for leadership.

As more new technologies come out and old imperialists and other old enemies fall to advanced reformer technology the SLs who fled and left their people to fend for themselves (now the reformers with big guns, massive fleet, air force, advanced armor, and heavy tanks) starts territory wars between SLs (now known as First Wavers), survivors and Reformers.

Jekyll Mr. Hyde nation, helping other nations economically(Cripistan for example) and giving humanitarian, building schools and developing vacinations in one territory while developing bio-weapons, plans to exterminate foes of the past, plotting to invade unsuspecing lands and get vengeance on Lesbania.

Both South Lizasauria and Lesbania have never set aside their differences and until present time are still racially bigoted against each other, both sides were looking for the tiniest excuse for war, and this movie which the South Lizasaurian government made on purpose started it. The movie was highly racist, politically incorrect and painted the Lesbanians as baby eating wusses while South Lizasaurians were the just warriors fighting for freedom from oppression. The movie was made by a former director who was now a member of the federal council, the movie was non-profit to ovoid legal issues. The war ended with at least 20 cities and town on both sides devastated by WMDs and with South Lizasauria victorious. The movie also had poltical messages pushing for less restrictions on South Lizasauria and pan-South Lizasaurianism.

Henry Hendin- Early Childhood
In the Dark Streets of Jont City, in Herals, on 8999 Y.Y., the date being the 16th of April, a infant was born, in the slum belonging to the Hendin family. The Infant was named Henry Jacob Hendin, and had hair as dark as ink. 4 years later, he was sent to a small boarding school, for youngsters. He spent 7 years in the school, studying geography. When he was in 6th Grade, a small rumor of a great western land came about. Most historians think today that it was a hope in a time of war, a sort of last resort, which would help later in Hendin's later life. As he progressed through school, he clung to that idea. His mother died when he was 19, and his father 2 months later. His sisters and brother were both killed on a boating accident, in a galleon setting off to the northern lands of Derbaun.

Henry Hendin- Exploration
When Henry Hendin was 34, he decided to raise enough money to map the rest of the world. He was, if you excuse the phrase, the Christopher Columbus of his age. He was funded by the high court of Moria, the court system for the Morinian Alliance. After he raised enough money, he bought 21 Galleons, and 50 smaller ships. At the time, he was the richest person in the land, after Ko Min, the king of Derbaun. As he set out on his massive fleet, 3 ships and 1 galleon were immediately destroyed by protesters who burned the ships down into the water. None died. Many discoveries, Calendona Island, Reinhart Island, Nocht Island, and hundreds of large and small islands. After 2 years of sailing, the sailors were short of food, and wanted to turn back. But Hendin, being a man of his word, continued on to his dream land, the Eastern Land. After 1 more year, the sailors were all dieing, or wishing to die. On the 3rd day of January, land was spotted, and sailors still alive rejoiced. They landed near present day Re-Mo city.
