The Drug War: A Cry of International Aid From Chilan Kahn

Chilan Kahn

*the camera is rather blurry, but after a few moments it starts to clear up, revealing a sharp dressed mongoloid on a small wooden desk, a true window in the background, the large government palace visable.*

CKNN reporting on the latest news out of Chilan Kahn from its newly made and developed tv station.

Our top story tonight: Head of State Chilan Kahn will be giving us a rather urgent message tonight from the steps of the palace, to the world community at large. We'll tune in live now, and report.

*the camera switches abruptly from the station to one right outside of the palace, a rather short stocky man is adjusting his red tie on the step, leaning gently on the podium*
Ladies and gentlemen of the world, I called upon you tonight for an urgent announcement. Late last night, federally supplied and trained police found a small encampment of native Chilanese in one of our forests, making what is believed to have been a new strand of drug, which we will simply codename until more is known about it... KL79... although I believe the popular title for it is "Rushspice." Now... while it is unknown what goes into KL79, we do know that it is highly toxic, highly addictive, and according to our head scientist, will cause hallucination that will make it feel like you are running at extreme speed, or even flying. While everything we can do to stop these people from introducing yet another toxin into our citizens, disrupting there labor potential, I call upon the aid of the international community for help, for we cannot do this alone. Already, we have found two private craft leaving our island, in search of new buyers. If this is left alone, I am afraid that many people outside of my borders, and my control, will be affected. Any help would be respected... weither it be military or commercial. I thank you for watching, and may we all live in peace... thank you...
*he leaves the podium, an occasional lens flash and a yell follows him as he somberly walks up to the doors of his grand palace...*

CKNN Reporter: in response to the near immiediate response by the international community, and the sudden uploading of many different nations soldiers in his land, Chilan Kahn has simply given us a note of gratitude to hand out, but also says that even with the immense precautions he is taking, with the passing of the "No cocoa plant left unturned" bill, the introduction of new techniques in Molotov Cocktail throwing, and the help from the internation community... two nations may not be enough to stop this. As such, we here at CKNN have learned that Chilan will once again speak from the steps within a few weeks and perhaps even call for a broader solution to this now growing problem if no more nations come forth in these desperate times.

Message from The Nomadic Peoples Of Westerney:

Eh... did this work? We stole-FOUND, found this telegram thinger, and uh, we heard about your problem.

Just do what we did when our people started getting addicted to grass with salt water on it ten years back: give them some mud. Seriously. This mud stuff rocks, our entire nation is based on it. We'll send over a team of five mudologists to see if Chilanese can digest the stuff.

OOC: Hey, are double posts frowned upon here? I'll remeber not to if told, I just thought this'd look odd as an edit. Anyway.

IC:
late breaking news:
The Nomadic Peoples Of Westerney has stated that in the unlikely case anyone manages to FIND Westerney and import products to it, that this drug will be banned completely. However their government is none too fantastic so since odds are nobody'll send the drug here, we'll just not bother with the whole law passing buisness. But as stated above, if it actually gets here we'll ban it. Right.

1 Battalion of Marines (480)
4 Atlantia Class AEGIS Destroyers
15 GAF-35A

tho you will need to supply ground space for fighters and troops but the destroyers will be placed outside your waters for patrol for any ship that may be heading towards the CorpSac islands to be stoped and searched. any ship that has the drug will be towed to the nearest port, we dont want this drug hitting our islands and will help you stop that from happening, tho we do ask that we can take control of any Maujwana plantations to be shiped back to the islands.

CKNN Reporter: Welcome back. While all of you have probably seen the troops here recently, for better or worse, our Head of State seemed to have been silent on the subject for a while. Well no longer. Terrance Han reporting from the steps of the palace.

Terrance Han: Thanks Will... While the ever growing presence of troops on our soil may be good to our economy, is it good for personal freedoms and foreign affairs? We'll get back to that in a moment... but now, Head of State Chilan Kahn on the palace steps...

*Chilan Kahn again walks up to the podium* Ladies and gentlemen of the world, I come back to you with furthering coverage of the KL79 problem. Drug output in our country is at an alltime low, and gang violence has stopped due to our, and foreign, secret police actions in and around Chilan Kahns major towns. While we respect all nations answers to our problems, Westerney's answer is a little strange to us, Mud is not addictive to our people, so my advisors and I have decided to generously decline your proposition. Either way... with the large anti drug fleet, and anti drug army working around the clock, it has severely hampered the drug lords power on our people, and on our business, and KL79 shouldn't be as big of a threat now due to the surprisingly high amount of international aid. I thank you all ladies and gentlemen... for you have done a great deal for both the world... and our nation. Good night ladies and gentlemen, and may peace be with you.
Mackistahn

Since hearing about the new drug released within the borders of Chilan Kahn the Executive Board of Mackistahn had been interested in seeing how the nation would handle its situation. Apparently the nation was unable to control its own population. However, the Board of Directors had seen an advantage to be gained from being involved in this international effort to control the drug being dubbed “KL79”.

Executive Director Jack Contrax leaned back in his chair at the head of the table and took a sip of scotch, the addressed the other men and women gathered around the table.

“Apparently the Rogue Nation of Chilan Kahn is experiencing some difficulty in controlling a new drug released within its borders. I’m sure you’ve all heard about it on the news, its called KL79, or Rushspice. I’m no expert on chemistry so I’ll let Dr. Watts sum it up for you.”

Across the table a well built man with a dark tan gestures and clear his throat, “Well, as Director Contrax pointed out there is a new drug on the loose in the nation of Chilan Kahn, the drug, KL79 is a powerful new psychotropic stimulant, very much similar to the late PCP. This, since it can be made in a nation as backwards of Chilan Kahn, appears to be relatively easy to fabricate, and if as powerful as said could present a problem if it starts being developed inside our nation or the TDR Group” With that the Doctor yields the floor to Director Contrax.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m sure we can all se why Mackistahn must be involved in this effort. What we can gain from being involved here far outweighs what we could lose if we are not. I've been in contact with their leader and offered our aid, pending Board Approval. The 1st Airborne Division has been prepping for deployment since 3am this morning. All we need now is an Executive Decision to send the forces to Chilan Kahn.”

With that Director Contrax takes his seat, and raises his hand. With little more then a seconds hesitation every other hand around the table rises. Director Contrax nods his head “The Board is dismissed.”

Slowly everyone files out of the room and the Director pulls out his matte black cell phone and holds down the 8. The phone beeps and then connects.

“Good afternoon Director, this is Brigadier General Burks, are we go?”

“Indeed General Burks, deploy your men.”

“Affirmative Sir. 1st Airborne Division is now deploying.” With that the connection terminates and the Director leans back into his chair and picks up his scotch and sips it, thinking about the future.

Meanwhile at Fort Chambers the 1st Airborne division is already loaded on 17 Globemaster II’s. Several of the aircraft had been diverted from private sector freight lines, these once stark white planes had been painted the matte grey that was standard for Mackistahn’s army aircraft. Upon receiving the order to execute General Burks walked to the cockpit of the lead plane and passed the order along. Down the line 15 massive aircraft came to life, and slowly, one by one the aircraft made their way down the line and into the sky. 2 Aircraft would launch one every three hours after the initial launch, these planes were loaded with supplies and the what was required to construct a secure compound for the Airborne troops. 2 Blackhawk military helicopters deployed as well carrying a twelve man squad of SpecOps officers trained in jungle warfare, they would stop along the way to refuel.

General Burks had selected a large chunk of clear land near the woods where KL79 had first been discovered. Using years of training the soldiers of the 1st Airborne division leapt out of the planes and drifted to the ground. Along with the troops being deployed were 5 Merkava Mk IV tanks for base security and 10 LRV’s with mounted .50 cal machine guns. Immediately upon landing combat engineers instructed the Merkava tanks to flatter out a small air strip while General Burks issued the standing orders to his officers.

“Gentlemen, we are here at the request of the Board of Directors to aid the government of Chilan Kahn in its quest to eliminate the drug KL79. First priority is to establish a base camp, which is what we are doing here. I’m going to radio Chilan Kahn once we are established and let them know we’re ready to rock and roll. Until then, secure the perimeter, LRV’s and Merkava’s along the line, anyone comes within 15 meters is to be stopped and challenged. If you take fire return fire, dismissed.”

Several hours later, once a perimeter had been established and the engineers had marked off the airstrip and the location of the tent’s. The first aircraft landed and team immediately set about removing the material from the plane. The second aircraft followed several hours later and the same song and dance was repeated. By evening of the day they arrived the airborne had their camp up and running, with teams working to erect the tactical fence around the entire base. Both planes remained in the camp to provide airborne mobility for the soldiers. Sometime during this the two Blackhawk’s arrived and the team went directly into their tent without saying a word.

Looking about satisfied, General Burks pulled his phone out and dialed the number of Chilan Kahn’s Head of State, “Sir, this is Brigadier General Burks of the 1st Airborne Division, Mackistahni National Army. We’ve established a small airbase near the wooded region where you initially discovered the drug being developed. We could use some fuel for our birds, but other than that how would you like us to help?”
Chilan Kahn
13-08-2004, 00:38
Chilan Kahn: "simply scan the region general, move your airborne over the treeline scanning for any smoke or unusually large encampments, and move your ground forces to any and all strange encampments you fine and investigate. While I have to admit we don't have much in the way of oil here, I'll send all we can to help you out in this internation effort. Thank you again general, Chilan out."

*at that he hung up the phone, looking outside his window at all the encamped troops. It was becoming a national fiasco of great proportion... he had to juggle many different belief systems, as well as his own peoples beliefs and needs, with limited resources... which simply could not be done. But his men couldn't do this alone... for pete's sake they were using Cessna's with browning 30 Cals. as fighters, and even they had to be modified to go slower so as to not blow off the wings... giving off a sigh he retreated onto his balcony. Night had fallen, and he could still see lights on in a handful of his nations shacks as he sipped his white wine... it was going to be a long couple of days ahead...*

A smelly, unshaven man walks into the Head of State of Chilan Kahn's office, props his feet up on the desk, and adjusts the large row of medals on his shirt. A stumpy cigar rests between his chapped lips, filling the room with a foul stench.

"Salaam Aleikum! Greetings habibi! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sultan Mustafa Walid al-Hussein Ahmad al-Muhammed. I am the dictator of the great nation of Iraqistoffle. It has come to our attention that your nation has a drug problem and you request international assistance. The Holy Book says "You shall not use the mind altering drugs, nor shall you let the infidels do so." Therefore, merciful Allah be praised, we pledge the assistance of the Iraqistoffle Republican Guard. In fact, we've already begun operations in your country. The Nebuchadnezzar division parachuted into your country 5 hours ago, and is finishing work on a temporary airfield in which we shall bring in the Medina and Mecca armored divisions. It is only a small pittance of our armed forces, but we feel that 85,000 troops, and 2500 tanks should be sufficient."

He leans forward and whispers in a conspiratorial tone "We have also sent our holy avengers, the July 15 Martyr's Brigade, to find the leaders and cut off their heads on national television. I'm told they are very good at this habibi."

"So, we shall solve this problem for your infidel nation, habibi. Have a nice day. Masalaama, habibi!"

With that he walks out, leaving you speechless and dumbfounded.

Hello, there, Charles.
Let's cut to the chase.
We and our countries don't always get along. It's a fact.
But ultimately we want to help each other, right?

He stated in your face he's going to use your new TV station to broadcast his pawns lopping off the heads of poor confused drug addicted teenagers (and I imagine the occasional train hopping Hobo).
Be careful, Chaz. This is on the verge of getting ugly, whatever your-or these other country's-motives.

I'll remind you that you put out an open request for assistance, and were answered aptly. If you don't like it, well should have put some limitations in the first place. Most merciful Allah abhors any kind of drug use, as it says in the Holy Book "You shall find he who addles his mind with illicit substances and kill him where he shall be found, lest he become like a plague of locusts and swarm upon your lands." Allah's will be done, we shall perform the request YOU ASKED FOR, and eliminate this plague from your infidel lands." He walks out, slamming the door behind him.

General Burks leaned back in his chair and sighed. The idiots from Iraqistoffle had apparently decided to go against direct orders from the TDR Group and moved almost 80,000 troops into Chilan Kahn. Burks sighed, this wasn’t going to make his life any easier. The Board of Directors had contacted him with new instructions, any Iraqistoffle personnel that came within 15 meters of the compound were to be turned around, if they failed to comply they were to be fired upon. Burks was not to keen on these new orders. Sure his men were better trained then the Iraqistoffle troops, but there were still 80,000 of them, to his Tactical Response unit of 3,500 soldiers.

The flap to his tent opened and a Sergeant who looked to be in his early thirties walked in and saluted the general. General Burks returned the salute and questioned the soldier:

”What do you have for me Sergeant?”

“Sir, the Sergeant’s team has discovered one of the manufacturing complexes, sir. Its located about 6 miles into the wooded area due north of here. Estimated personnel on site is roughly 100, light machine gun emplacements, no armor.”

General Burks nodded, “Very well Sergeant, we’ll take care of it.”

“Sir, yes sir.” The two exchanged salutes and the NCO made his way out of the tent. Upon his exiting Burks picked up his phone and punched in another number. A moment later and man wearing tiger striped jungle fatigues stepped into the office.

“General Burks” said the man inclining his head.

“Colonel Peters, we’ve discovered a drug complex staffed by about 100 individuals about two miles inland. Take your team and bring along two squads of my Airborne, bring down the complex, burn it to the ground. Try and take the important looking ones alive”

Peters said nothing for a moment as if weighing his options. Scars danced across his face before responding. “Excellent sir, we shall execute. Make sure a plane is ready for the return trip”

With that Peter’s left the General’s tent and went about prepping his team and picking the two squads of Airborne. Thirty minutes later the two special forces Black Hawks took silently to the air, filled with the Special Operations team and 2 Merkava’s took to the woods.

About 4 minutes later you could hear the chatter of the drug lords fixed machine guns start firing. Almost immediately after there was the deafening explosion of the Merkava 155mm cannons opening up and shelling the complex, followed by the reports of the Airborne squads weapons. After several minutes of firefights there was a deafening silence. Then there was a tremendous explosion, followed by a number of equally impressive blasts, smoke began billowing from the jungle. A few minutes later the Black Hawks returned to the camp, one however made a beeline for the two landed Cargo planes, as soon as it touched down, a stretcher being carried by two men was rushed onto the waiting plane, it was covered, but one could see what looked like a human body in Mackistahn Special Forces gear under it. After being on the plane for several minutes, the aircraft lifted off destined for Fort Chambers in Mackistahn.

The second Black Hawk landed and Colonel Peter’s stepped out looking as if he’d just gone for a walk in the park, his men were busy trying to muscle two large black men in restraints out of the helicopter. They seemed intent on not cooperating, one even managed to deliver a rather vicious head butt at one of the officers. Rapidly growing tired of this, one Sergeant simply butt stroked the resisting man in the head with his Carbine, knocking him out. Seeing this the other man stopped resisting as well.

“Gentleman, if you’ll follow me. We’re going to make you presentable for this country’s head of state.” Said the Sergeant and lead the way to the temp showers that had been setup.

Colonel Peters made his way to General Burks tent, they saluted and then Peters spoke: “General, my team has completed its mission. We have also managed to capture a couple mid-level drug runners. With your permission we’re going to turn them over to the Chilan Kahn government.”

General Burks sighed with relief, “Excellent work Colonel, you can expect the bonus that the Director promised. As for the drug runners… Yes, bring them to this countries government.”

Four hours later the two captured men have been dressed in prisoners fatigues and loaded onto a Black Hawk with Colonel James, the General’s XO, and three Mackistahn Special Forces officers dressed in Airborne fatigues. The three operators kept their weapons trained on the prisoners the whole time.

As the Black Hawk approached the capital city around noon the pilot sent out a radio call on all air traffic frequencies: “This is Mackistahn Black Hawk Charlie Foxtrot 12 requesting permission to land on Capital building helipad”

A voice broke through, “This is the Capital building, Mackistahn Black Hawk Charlie Foxtrot 12 you are clear to land. An escort will meet you on the tarmac.”

“Roger that control, this Black Hawk Charlie Foxtrot 12 making final approach.”

The Black Hawk came to a stop on the tarmac and the soldiers piled out, brining along the now far more cooperative prisoners. Colonel James exchanged a few words with the escort and nodded, the escort went back in and James adjusted his hat and walked back to the soldiers.

“Apparently, their Head of State is in lunch, so we’re just gonna wait here for him. She said it would be only a couple minutes.”

Mackistahn
14-08-2004, 03:01
Its only a matter of seconds before Colonel James and Mackistahn Special Forces officers react. The SpecOps troops raised their weapons and reduced the masked figures head to a diffusion of red before rushing forward and putting themselves between the PM and the rest of the crowd as Chilan Kahn security forces moved forward, Colonel James had his sidearm out and is radioing back to the base: "Jungle 1, this is Colonel James, the Prime Minister is down, repeat the Prime Minister is down. Requesting immediate backup and medical teams at the capital building, ASAP"

"We hear you Colonel James, this is Jungle 1. Medical Team and Tactical Unit are going airborne in 5, ETA is 20 minutes, the birds coming in heavy and will be ready to land hot."

"Roger that Jungle 1, me and then will try and establish some sort of perimeter."

"Affirmative James, keep your head down, Jungle 1 out."

General Burks and Colonel Peter were watching the news report and saw the camera go out. Without even thinking, Burks lifted a finger and twirled it, Peter's nodded and was already halfway out the door before the call came in from James. As Peters exited the tent, Burks picked up his radio and qued the PA.

"Attention, This is General Burks, there has been an attempt on the life of Chilan Kahn. As of now, this entire nation is to be considered a warzone. We are to consider anyone approaching this base to be a hostile, challenge, if they do not respond shoot to kill."

You could see the change throughout the temp base. What had once been relaxed friendly soldiers were now carrying weapons locked and loaded at port-arms. The Merkava's were locked down and station at each entrance, the LRV's were making regular patrols around the base, and some were being refitted with 25mm HE rounds. Both cargo planes were ready to fly and about 400 soldiers were ready to load onto the planes to drop into the city if needed.

General Burks again withdrew his phone and placed a call directly to the Director.

"Director Contrax, this is Genreal Burks, the situation has escalated. Requesting instructions."

The Director leaned back and took a puff of his cigar before responding, in a very different manner then the General expected: "Very well, you're to remain in the country, render any aid needed to the Chilan Kahn government. Further forces will be ready to deploy should they be needed."

General Burks hid his suprise well, "Affirmative sir, the 1st Airborne will remain in Chilan Kahn. Burks out."

Meanwhile back at the Capital Building James and the SpecOps troops with the help of Chilan Kahn forces had managed to bring the Head of State back from the crowd and stabalize him. The Black Hawk that had initially brought them to the City was flying in low orbit above them, crew chiefs watching the crowd, mini-guns ready. In the distance, the Black Hawk containing Colonel Peters and the rest of the team was rapdily approaching...

14-08-2004, 03:26
*tension starts to escalate in the rising firestorm. While Chilan Kahn was still alive, his life was on a thread, and his brother, being caught in connection with one of the ruling drug lords was more then anxious to strike out while he was weak.*

Secret IC:

*He was watching CKNN as it happened, and he gave off a smile*
"Well done Sen... your assassin didn't kill him."

*Sen, a rather large, fat man, with a moustache, seemed a bit weary*
"I'm sorry Wentin, he should have aimed for the head."

*Wentin shakes his head*
"No no Sen... this isn't a reprimand... I'm actually glad. This way it will keep the people from wanting anarchy... however Machistan is already mobilizing, albeit the rest of the nations are sticking to their guns and just doing what is best for them. Sometimes I actually like the "All for me" Capitalist system..."
*wentin chuckles*
"Begin rallying the men... I'm sure their as anxious as we are. Tell them that Operation Hydra's Stomach has begun..."

*Sen nods, smiling*
"And about our deal?"

*Wentin sighs*
"Yes yes, of course. You will be my secretary of defense in the new government... as long as you stop making this damn drug. I would hate to see my people fail to meet what is expected of them due to an alien narcotic."

*Sen nods, and picks up his cellphone, operation Hydra's Stomach was underway...

Normal IC:

*As Colonel Peters flew over the capital, it seemed like they had flown into the eye wall of a hurricane... tensions were higher then ever as government forces patrolled the entire town. A curfew was up in order. Martial Law had been declared, and anyone found outside of there house in the next 24 hours was to be asked to return back inside, or be arrested, if they resisted, they were to be shot, no questions asked. But an undertone of something more dire seemed to be in the air... but of what, and why, seemed to be out of reach.*

First off, let me give you a bit of background info on Westerney-it'll help sort this out. The entire island is covered in mud and in never stops raining. The whole place is in anarchy. Calling them third-world would be a compliment. They're all completely insane. Because they're so screwey, I post IC like a maniac. I'm not BAD at posting IC, I'm acting appropriately for the insane character.

I have not intentionally offended you OOC, and I have no intention to.

Chilan Kahn has been my friend outside this website for nine years. I wouldn't go around calling him "Charlie Ken" if we were strangers.

As far as I have gathered from him, things happened in this order.

1 He saw (not recieved) a telegram from Mackistahn saying something along the lines of "Iraqistoffle has entered your country without permission".

2 He sent a telegram to you, Iraqistoffle, saying something like "Hey, what are you doing in my country?!"

3 Then he saw your post here, your telegram offering help (I think), and realised you were (supposedly) trying to help him.

4 He sent a telegram to you saying "oops, my bad, carry on."

Chilan Kahn trusts you enough (IC that is), though it is brutally obvious you were disrespectful in your entrance of his country. If I remember correctly, he said you DID send him a telegram offering help, but you still did not wait for his response to enter is country. The reason I was so blunt in my IC post as Westerney was because you seemed very fishy. I wanted to make sure Chilan Kahn didn't get attacked from the inside-though it appears he's gone and decided to assasinate himself anyway... :headbang:

Just one last thing...
OOC: By the way Westerney meant no harm... he's a friend of mine IRL and he just wanted to mention iraqistoffle's possible "other motives" he apoligizes.
No, I don't apologize to anyone on this matter, because I've done nothing wrong. No one really has, and no apologies are neccesary.

I think that covers everything. As I said, I have no wish to offend anybody OOC, and I hope this little misunderstanding is resolved. :)

Now...

IC: As the Capital Building was secured by the Mackistahn and Chilan Kahn forces, a lone individual in a long brown robe covered with mud walked forward. In the chaos, none of the confused citizens payed him any mind as he walked across the yellow tape surrounding the scene.
"Hey! Hey! Freeze, punk! On the ground, hands on your head!"
Immediately he was surrounded by six soldiers, weapons trained on his head.
"What'd I do? I was looking for Chaz... oh, my mistake, you must work for him. You'd know him as Charlie Ken."
The soldiers glanced at each other a bit.
"Does he mean Chilan Kahn?"
"I've heard him called that, yes. He prefers Charlie."
The guards looked at one another again.
"Get up."
"Oh, really? I was starting to enjoy the ground-so hard and dry! Never seen anything like it in Westerney."
Now the guards understood.
"Hey, you're gonna have to leave. Mr. Kahn says nobody from Westerney is allowed in this country."
The stranger laughed.
"Haha, he says that all the time, the kidder. Where is he, anyhow?"
The guard in front stepped away, allowinh the stranger to see a helicopter touch down and Colonel Peters and his team get Chilan on to a stretcher. The stranger raised an eyebrow.
"Who's that poor sap?"
"Chilan Kahn."
The stranger's eyes widened, and he ran forward. Four of the soldiers went back on patrol, two followed him. He ran to the capital building in seconds, as no-one had time to stop him. He pushed his way to the chopper.
"Charlie! Chaz, are you OK? Bloody heck, you look pretty terrible."
Chilan moved his head towards the stranger and opened his eyes. With his finger he motioned for the stranger to closer.
"Yeah, Charles? Whatcha need?"
"Buzz off, dangit, Groob."
The two soldiers that had been following him moved to grab him.
"Hold on!"
He reached into his pocket and pulled forth a lump of mud, which he slapped into Chilan's hand.
"Good luck, Chaz."
The soldiers dragged him away, ignoring his complaints about the cement and his ramblings on how softer mud was.
"God I hate the Westernese," Chilan grunted, and dropped the mud on the ground.

*after that incident with Groob passed, the medivac chopper supplied by mackistahn took off for a safe place... meanwhile, in the secondary island of Chilan Kahn*

Semi-secret IC:
((OOC Note: this is the same post used in the Andrehervia rebellion thread if it looks familar to you.))

*having gotten the go ahead of Wentin Kahn, the chopper pilot, and a handful of pro-Wentin rebels rushed into one of the storage depots on the secondary island of the nation. They easily took out two of the guards, and silenced the other two from a good crack over the head with the butt of their rifles. Realizing this island was not nearly as well guarded as the mainland, they decided to load up even more ak-m's and gold per box then previously thought. Now came the tricky part...*

Rebel #1:
"Alright men... now comes the tricky part. We have to get these supplies, from here, to that jeep... without setting off any alarms, and motor it out of here like a bat out of hell, understood?

*the rest of the men nodded, and reloaded their ak's*

Rebel #1:
"alright..... go!"

*the men rush off, a few of them boxes in hand, tossing them gently onto a padded back seat section, so as to minimize noise. Then they hopped in, some dangling if the sides, or sitting on the crates as they motored off, a handful of AK-M bullets followed them, the light ping of a gun smacking metal came to be the first sounds of a revolution. Loading it up in the chopper for the Andrehervia rebels was the easiest part, as two of the rebels hoped on in, the chopper pilot took off, the rest of the rebels holding off the pro government forces as they slowly pulled back into their compound....*

ARNN (Alejandro Rey News Network) Special Broadcast

We are sorry of this interruption of Abrazos y Lagrimas but we are here live here on the 300th floor Auditorium where President Garcia has a urgent message to the people of Alejandro Rey about the escalating violence in Chilan Kahn.

People of the Free World, Due to the attempted assasination of the Chilanese president, and the warzone that your country has become our nation was faced with the desicion of withdrawing our troops due to a fear of Civil War breaking out, or by increasing Alejandrian troops in your country by 10,000 soldiers and another 5,000 military personel to aid any other attempts. To stop any a new administration led by known criminals, the Alejandrian Goverment will increase military presence, and now we will be a presence by Sea, Air and Land. Our country is commited to this fight, and we will protect the Chilanese people and also the free world from this known threat. Thank you people of Alejandro Rey and of the World.

*The president steps into the elevator where the Head of the Military General Carlos Guerrero is waiting.*

(General Guerrero) Mr. President I have some bad news.

(President Garcia) More bad news, god damn it thats wat I need right now, tell me General.

(General Guerrero) Southland State Police found a capcised small boat 15 miles from Costa Del Sol with 100 Kilos of Rushspice, now we didnt find any men inside the boat, but there was some food wrappers and other signs that the boat probably had around 2 to 3 men inside there. And theres more bad news.

(President Garcia) What?

(General Guerrero) There was more Rushspice on the boat, they must have took it with them. Southland and Federal NARC squads say it most likely was around 200 Kilos considering the empty boxes capacities, and they were most likely taken to Costa Del Sol or Southern City for distribution, or maybe as far as Alex City and the Bay Cities. Now Alex City, Southern City and Costa Del Sol have decided to increase police presence and are placing checkpoint on the major freeways leading into the cities. Daniella and Bay City are discussing on what they should do.

(President Garcia) Damn, we have a drug presence now in this country, listen we are still sending those troops but now I want every available Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard Boat on Perimiter Duty all over the country, and I also want Jets in the air checking for unregistered ships. Costoms will take care of the others.

(General Guerrero) I'll get to it sir.

(President Garcia) Now I'm going to get in touch with whoevers in charge right now in Chilan Kahn, and check up on their President. This has blown up way bigger than I thought it would...

al-Iraqistoffle News Network Press Release: For immediate distribution.

Baghdizzle, Iraqistoffle- From the sultan's palace in the capitol of Iraqistoffle, Baghdizzle, Sultan Mustafa has declared that for the time being, due to recent complications, Iraqistoffle troops in Chilan Kahn will hold fast, maintain a defensive posture, and prepare to leave the country. A timetable was not released, but a high-level minister (who was later executed for treason) said the delay was due to difficulty understanding how best to comply with the requests of the infidels. Further bulletins as events warrant.

OOC: I may or may not be deploying to the hurricane zone, so this is my blanket statement in case I'm not around to pull my troops out yet.

*the Secretary of Defense sat at the Head of States desk for the first time in his short career... he would have enjoyed it more if his position didn't seem to be tettering on the edge of a razor. He was temporaryily apointed Head of State for this little mileau... and he was going to use it to get the country back in order. Suddenly the phone rang*

SoD (Secretary of Defense):
"Hello?"

President Garcia (ooc: hope you don't mind me playing you :P):
"Yes hello, this is President Garcia of the Nation of Alejandro Rey... is this the new head of state?"

SoD:
"Temporary head of state yes Mr. President"

President Garcia:
"We have some bad news... and a bit of good news if you can call it that. We recently have found out that Rushspice has arrived in Alejandro Rey by the means of a stray boat."

SoD:
*sighs* "I'm sorry to hear that Mr. President."

President Garcia:
"Yes... we have our top agents working on it rest assured, and we are commiting another 10,000 troops and 5,000 other military personel in this ongoing war, espeically with the escalation it has taken."

SoD:
*blinks* "Well... thank you Mr. President, I don't know what to say besides thank you... We are nearly on the brink of revolution, and were going to need all the help we can get... anywhom, I'll let you get to that then Mr. President... Goodbye, and thank you again..."

President Garcia:
"Yes, good bye."

*at that the Secretary of Defense hung up, sighing, he too looked out the window, but instead of seeing a pristine nation working for a common good like Chilan had hoped for... he saw a curfew, dead bodies from people who acted up in the state of martial law strewn across the street, and chaos was just a moment away...*

Secret IC:
"alright men, remember, we must take the palace at all costs. From there we can make our internation demands, and hold the largest land mass in the area. The rest of the men will follow in, and a handful of our troops are already set and ready to deploy against the T.V station... lets rock and roll people."

*a crew of about 10 armed men, kevlar and masks on were in this battalion of rebels, one of three such battalions that were about to face the palace guards...*
Mackistahn

*****Secret Occurrence in Makistahn
The massive Globemaster II touches down at Fort Chambers several hours after it launched from Jungle 1. Three jungle camo clad special operations officers step off the aircraft and onto the Tarmac. The one in the lead is carrying a stainless steel briefcase, the other two officers are both carrying their M-4’s at port-arms.

They make their way to an idling Mercedes Limousine, as they approach the back window lowers and Dr. Watts and The Director can be seen sitting in the back seat. The soldier carrying the briefcase snaps to attention as soon as he is beside the car, and lifts the case. Another officer opens the briefcase and presents its contents to Dr. Watts.

Inside the egg crate padded case there are half a dozen vials of KL79.

Dr. Watts nods and the briefcase is closed and passed through the window, which closes shortly after. The Limo leaves the three soldiers standing there. With a jerk of his head, the Sergeant motions for his men to head to the barracks. Their work in Chilan Kahn was complete.

Meanwhile in the speeding limo Dr. Watts is conducting a chemical test on the substance in the vials: “Very interesting Jack, this drug is like nothing we’ve seen before.”

The Director sips his scotch and arches an eyebrow, “Even in our weapons development program?”

“Yes, even there. This drug is unique, it’s a psychotropic to be sure, but beyond that its very unlike what we’ve seen before. In fact,” The Doctor glances at the laptop readout, “this drug might be ideal for the weaponization that we had planned.”

“Meaning what Doctor?”

“It seems that with minor adjustment we could develop a highly effective aerosol form of this drug, it would cause hallucinations amongst the targeted individuals. The benefits of this are clear are they not.”

The Director smiled and took another drink from his ever present glass of scotch, “Excellent. It appears that our venture into Chilan Kahn will well be worth the trouble.”

“I take it our forces will soon be leaving the nation.”

”Indeed not Doctor. The coming Civil War in that nation may well present us with the opportunity to test our new weapon. I’m sure the rebels wouldn’t mind having a taste of their own drug. To this end, I’m deploying the 1st Cavalry, the 2nd Artillery Battalion, the 2nd and 3rd Airborne Division the 3rd 4th and 5th Ranger Battalions to Chilan Kahn and brining the 2ID 1st and 2nd Infantry Battalions to Ready Status should they be necessary.”
“I see,” said the Doctor, “Again an excellent idea Jack.”

The Director says nothing, he simply smiles as the armored limo speeds towards Mackistahn’s Military Research and Development Center.

****Normal, back in Chilan Kahn
As they are speaking a massive Air Armada made up of close to 250 Large Transport planes was prepping for launch all across the nation. Mackistahn prides itself on the rapid response and mobility of its forces. Close to 12,000 troops in addition nearly 1500 pieces of Armor would arrive in Chilan Kahn within the next day.

Meanwhile, the 1st Airborne division, was busy on making a permanent landing strip out of the original temporary strip and were busy using its Merkavas to flatten down addition strips. Once the additional military forces arrived they would send the planes back for Pre-fabricated buildings to provide more secure housing for the soldiers.

The first Forces to arrive, almost immediately were the Ranger Battalions. Close to 50 Black Hawk Helicopters brought in 300 of the most competent Rangers from the 3 Battatlions being deployed. These men were armed with everything from Carbine Assault Rifles to Javelins and Mackistahn’s modified Stinger Missiles.

All the Black Hawks touched down and about 40 of the ‘copters disgorged their troops. The remaining ten, refueled and took to the air 4 heading towards the capital city to join the one black hawk still providing security for the Capital Building, The others took to flying high and low orbits around the camp, the snipers on board scanning the horizon for any forces moving towards the camp.

One by one the massive air fleet from Mackistahn started to land and disgorge its payload of troops, armor and supplies, before taxing off for the next round of shuffling. By the time morning broke, there were an addition 7,000 soldiers, 800 pieces of armor, more arriving every hour. The once small and temporary Jungle 1 had been renamed to Camp Crusader and was now covering the better part of two square miles, engineers were already marking the sports for the prefabricated barracks and garages to be placed.. Armor and infantry were patrolling and towers were being erected.

Meanwhile, in the center of the camp, the shot-up head of state had received treatment from Mackistahn army Surgeons and was in excellent condition. A direct line to General Burks, now in command of all Mackistahn Forces in the area was placed near the man’s bed. Colonel Peters and three soldiers were present in the room, in addition to the squad of Rangers stationed outside the medical tent.

What should’ve been a simple mission had blossomed into a damnable peace keeping campaign…
Westerney

OOC: I hope you don't mind this, Chaz. I'm just sort of helping in my own way. If it screws up your fancy story plans just tell me and ignore this IC. I figure you're waiting for help anyway.

IC: "Alright men, remember, we must take the palace at all costs. From there we can make our internation demands, and hold the largest land mass in the area. The rest of the men will follow in, and a handful of our troops are already set and ready to deploy against the T.V station... let's rock and roll, people." The rebel battalion prepared to move-when a filthy mud covered peasant walked up to their position.
"Hello there, fellas! What's up?"
They all aimed their rifles.
"NO!" he screamed. "CHILAN GUARDS AGAIN!"
Nearby soldiers heard his cry, and thought he was callling for help. But when they turned to him, they saw the rebels.
Both squads opened fire. Groob ran off.
After a moment, two Chilan Kahn soldiers are down, and the rest are hiding behind cover.
"Sir!" A soldier yelled over his radio. "Mr. Secretary of Defense, sir, there are rebel squads moving in on the palace! Repeat, there are reb-"
The sound of a grenade went off over the radio.
The Secretary of Defense put his face in his hands.
"Oh, no."

OOc: Like I said, if it messes stuff up tell me.
Chilan Kahn

OOC: no, actually that wasn't half bad Westerney, interesting slightly funny way to start the revolution :P

IC:
*It was clear now that there was more to this then drugs, but an agenda behind the money being made.

The rebels started to throw grenades into the palace, a few bedrooms and a bathroom exploded in firey doom as the rebels went in from all sides. Death came quickly to the secretary of the palace, and the handful of guards who, while alert, were now stunned. The booms had also caused chaos to erupt outside, a handful of rebels locked in their houses took it as a sign to rebel, and did so, grabbing whatever weapon they had and quickly pelting the guards outside their doors with it.

In a matter of minutes, the capital had turned from martial law and order, to utter chaos, with at least ten soldiers down.

Meanwhile, in the island off the coast, the peoples had already accepted the new rebels as their leaders, raising red flags in place of the flags of Chilan Kahn, ripping those in half and celebrating, perhaps too soon? Perhaps, but perhaps not, for this was already becoming what was to be the last stronghold of the rebellion if it came to that... Then came the News broadcast.*

Masked Rebel:
"To the people of the former nation of Chilan Kahn. Pick up your weapons and join with us. Our government is merely a puppet to its foreign affairs board now, holding us within its Iron Grasp. Release yourselves from this guantlet of censureship, fight! We shall be free brothers..."

*At that two men come from off camera, m4a1's raised, and turn him into a red gorey nothing, then shut off the camera.*

OOC: I think I'm going to move the rest of the National Rebellion to a new thread, that, not surprisingly, will be called "Breaking News: Wentin Kahn Rebels launch first attack on Chilan Kahn government."
Aka, I'll be posting Here (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=6789737#post6789737) on this topic from now on.
