Delfino class Catamaran Destroyer
______________________________________________

Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
~ Winston Churchill

The Delfino is designed to combine various fleet roles into a highly mobile, and survivable platform. While not destined to entirely replace traditional destroyers like the Arleigh Burke class, the advantages of the catamaran hull include increased speed, higher survivability and agility.

While the design is not exactly stealthy, it has been built utilizing Radar Absorbent Materials whenever possible. The ship is designed with flexibility in mind and its weapon systems allows it fill almost any role in the fleet, with an intended dual mission of land attack and anti-submarine warfare.
