Developed by LAI for Long Range Aviation, the LAS-ASMX1 was first launched in October of 1998 from a Tu-95 during Long Range Aviation exercises. It will can be deployed with either a nuclear or a conventional warhead. The conventional warhead version requires the use of a highly accurate guidance system, which provides a circular error probable of 12-20 meters. An electro-optic flight path correction system uses a terrain map stored in its onboard computer, as well as a TV-seeker for the terminal stage of flight. The LAS-ASMX1's launch weight is 2,200-2,400kg and its maximum speed is Mach 0.77. The range of this system is almost 5,000km.

The system will be deployed on LAS-XB1 'Blackbear' bomber squadrons, providing the LAF with a true intercontinental strike capability.

OOC: Exports may be planned but can anyone think of a RL price for such a missile??
