This is an OOC thread for me, Island of Rose, and Jarridia about the World History Library website. Nothin' exciting to see, so move along.

Rose of Island, Jarridia has offered to let us use his domain, at least until we get to much stuff, then we'll have to get a whole new site. But, until then, we can use his site.

Now, here's my idea:

On the site, we will have an intro page, welcoming the people to the World History Library site. This'll be like the unofficial fact book and history page for NS...

We'll have it broken down into the following categories:

Periodicals (mainly news)

Fact books (click there, you'll get a list of nations to click on and read about)

Major Historical Events

Artifacts (sent by other nations; they'll need pics and a discription of what it is, and information on what it represents, etc.

Books (we'll just list different names of books nations send, and if they write a book and send it, then we'll post that, too.)

Documents (about other nations, sent to us by nations... the nation senting a document to us will have to actually write what the document says...)

Exactly what I was thinking, hey, why not use Freewebs instead?

Sorry for being late, I was a tad busy. Alright, first off. This is a great idea, and my site should work. The link is at the bottom of this thread. I have an idea of how to get it to work, the design atleast.

He offered to let us use his domain, which has 75 mb's space and I think he said 15 mb transfer, a lot better then freewebs can offer. Plus, I've never really liked freewebs, doesn't give ya lotta room for customization. It's their designs or no design.

Eh I think Freeweb's design is sexy. But speed is better.

Okay so we'll be using Jarradia's thing for now, second, who'll do what?

Well, later on, maybe we could put some money together to buy a new domain. I know where we can get one cheap, w/ good speed and lots of space (homestead is a rip off)

Well, how about $35/yr for domain (or I think it's like $20/yr if we do it for 3-5 yrs) plus $5.00 hosting

I'm pretty much useless here. I'm broke and all I did is give the idea, and unless you have something for me to do, I'm junk :p
