Jarridian International Art and Music Gallery (JIAMG)

In a grand effort to spread all varieties of culture throughout the world and prove that Jarridian Culture is open to all ideals (i.e. Impressionism, Etruscan) and subjects, we have decided to open the world’s largest art museum.

At around 50 miles of walking distance and 25 million square feet, the museum has around 2500 Galleries, and 9.4 million pieces of art work, sculptures and pottery. The museum will not be limited to this however. We are willing to open up to all forms of artwork. Featured works of art will include Rembrandts, to Picasso and many immerging new artists. We welcome art work from all nations around the world, and would be glad to incorporate it into the collection if you send detailed description of what it is, and the type / ideal behind it.

Not only will this gallery feature many brilliant works of art, but it will also house Galleries of Music. The Jarridian Music Collection (JMC) will include any and all types of music. From the glorious and beautiful symphonies of the world to the many variations of rap and rock. We wish to hold a copy of all types of music from as many time periods and nations around the world in order to ensure open culture venues. Music is one of the main forms of culture in the world. Years from now, people will be able to see how we felt, or lived through the use of music.

We see this as a grand opportunity for the world to expand its culture with Jarridia in the center. We welcome visitors from all over and hope that many will come to visit. The museum itself is designed as to be inspired by all types of cultures from around the world. Pictures shall be included soon. Other parts of the museum include an underground mall and acres and acres of lush gardens for your enjoyment. If you have any questions, comments or additions you would like to make, please feel free to contact us or leave a message here. It is located in Shelbin, Jarridia. Thank you.

The Primary Attraction of the Museum is the Music Gallery. There is a separate Hall for each Genre of Music with Computers linked to massive databases containing Biographies and other important information on every single band, singer, songwriter and composer to have walked this planet and beyond. In addition to this each person is given a headset with voice reciever so that they can freely walk the halls and grounds of the Museum and upon voice command hear any song/artist they so choose. The Database is prized to containing every song possible from every nation possible, on every planet possible.

We would be interested in displaying the Museum of Jerusalem's "THE FIRST CHRISTIAN HOLY WAR" paraphenalia exhibit of the Crusades from 1100 to 1291. Some items are from the personal collection of the Jeruselem Royal family. Items include medieval weapons, armour, gold relics and Catholic items of faith.

"Sir, another nation feels emasculated..."

"Huh?"

"They just built a 25 square mile art museum, probably the biggest in the world."

"Hah. How sad."

"Indeed."

"Send them a portrait, but I want it to be funny...surprise me..."

------------

Chellis would like to send a portrait "CEO". To give a brief discussion, a man lays down on the grass, with his pants unzipped, and a large skyscraper protruding from it. Nothing adult is actually seen.

The People's Republic of Foxton-Sunbury wishes to congratulate Jarridia on the completion of their National Museum of Art. We are gratified to see that there are a few nations left who see that there is more to life than politics, money, and war.

The Kaiser would be honored if The Museum would accept a painting by it's native-son painter, Koiti le Gardin entitled "The Old Fishmonger".

Culture aficionados nationwide are signing up for this unrivaled opportunity: reportedly, Merano officials are notoriously tight-fisted with their share.

We would also like to submit recordings of many varied musical styles across our history for inclusion in the Galleries. While the visual arts are a traditionally weak entity in Zwangzug, some original works by Maurits van Huys are available to be donated as well. van Huys (deceased) was a fairly modern artist, who used fractals as a pattern on which to base many works of art.

President Thoreson announced today that she will be instituting a new budget plan to fund an expansion to the Jarridian International Art & Music Gallery. The near 4 Trillion Mau expense will provide the funding for expansion and remodeling. It is an exciting day when culture takes the forefront of domestic policy here in Jarridia.

I will release more news on this subject once they become available.
