The stars were shining through the windows of warhaven as It was sailing through Creation. King warfare was musing over the recent sapce ships found dead in space. blown to smithereens. He muttered curses under his breath wondering what could've possibly blown ship 30 miles long apart like they were nothing. Then he saw it, a giant metal cube floating dead in space.
"Bridge" he yelled to the communication speakers hidden in the walls "Full Stop, Theres something outhere."
"Aye sir!" The bridge replied. King Warfare ran to the bridge to direct the Scientists and Salvedgers where to look.

OOC: This takes place After Secrets of the future, for those who would notice.

Five hours pass

The inside was dark and everywhere was metal tubes and control panels. It was a confusing mess, the scientists seemed to have some of it sigured out.
King Warfare was bored but the scientists were excited by the possibilities on this ship. Leaving it in thier capable hands, Warfare Point-to-point teleported back to Warhaven.

It was ten days leter when noted Scientist Helodrag came to his office with results from the crews findings onboard the cube
"It seems that was just a regular Cube but it is much more powerful than anything we have. They seem to have 6 diffrent designs in total but they are all basically the same inside with diffrent layouts there is a cube, a Sphere, a ruling ship for their queen, They were working on a new prototype ship under the direction of an Android, a scout ship which they called as a probe, and a hevily armed and armored Tactical Cube. they were all wiped out by some kind of Bio ship but all the bio ships were destroyed as well. we did find specs for them though. These people, were Half organic half machine, were of diffrent races but were all unified by a hivemind and the fact that they had a sort of Nano probe running through their blood. The Details we found on those were amazing." Helodrag Rambled.

"Hmm, make me a sample of those nanoprobes, You have done well, I have a lot to think about now.

Helodrag took three weeks to do it but he managed to get the nanoprobes up and running, all three million of them. He was carrying them in a hypo spray.
"Your majesty here are the, WOOPS" Helodrag Exclaimed as he tripped on am ornamental rug and the Hypospray went flying. It landed against Warfares neck as he had his back turned and since it landed so hard it activated and injected the nanoprobes in to King Warfare. King Warfare was stunned, then he felt a tickling sensation as the nanoprobes spread through his body slowly taking over various functions, all at once he felt the need to go to the cube.
So he Point-to-point Teleported over from his office. The xecond he was on the Cube he new were to go and what to do to modify his physical appearence to better himself.

It was a full day later when King Warfare came to. He looked in the control panels at his new form. He was a cyborg now. He accesed the ships computers through his mind and started reading, Information came to him faster than anything he could understand. By the end of the day, he knew what to do. He new his troops were also on board looking for him, He would assimilate them and once again would the name of Borg be the most feared in all of creation.

One, by one The Military, Scientists, and Salvedgers on board were converted into his Drones, after that was done he put them to work reparing the ship and since his energy seem low he stepped in to a regeneration chamber to rest. While he slept he noticed he could still hear their voices in his sleep. he new everything they were doing. healso knew he was the only one who still possed emotions. He also discovered that the Transwarp Drive was still mainly intact, and Directed 50 Drones to start reparing that.

It took a week of repairs, but it was done,The Cube was up and running again. now all he had to do was convert the rest of Warhaven to the Borg.
And so he sent the Cube over to
Warhaven, Docked with it, and sent The Drones out to begin the Assimilation.
King Warfare himself Began the Assimilation of the Mothership by injectiong it with the Nano Probes.

After one month, All of Warhaven was converted to Borg, the Mothership, Warhaven itself, was converted into a Queens ship, the Name of Warhaven was kept, and from there Warfare directed the entire Borg nation. Truley he was their King. he looked out the window to physically see the Many Cubes and other Borg ships following Warhaven, Smiling to himself he waited for the day someone would cross his path the wrong way.

King warfare had been looking at the computers data system for some time now. He decided to do it. Sending a thought out to one of the spheres he had them begin research on project "BIO".

The Drones had been working on project BIO for some time now. with all the Knowledge of the BORG at his beck and call, plus, all the knowledge of what had been his scientists, it was easy for him to research project BIO.
He was close to a breakthrough and he knew it. Shortly Project BIO would be ready. He sent The collective to an abandonned section of space to use for BETA testing.

Project BIO was a success, thanks to BORG maturation chambers. King Warfare managed to get 7 of the ships to stay alive, assimilation was a success even though he had to modify hthe nanoprobes a few times. a large planet was succesfully blown up. To run them He created a species called 8472, and simply assimilated them, which was every bit as hard as assimilating the ships. He ordered the collective to begin a fleet.

I took no more than a month with the Maturation chambers to creat the BIO fleet. nothing could stop him now. Nothing.

King Warfare was musing it over, he had read about an atomic partical called Omega. Apparently, it had extremly destructive powers. If only he could find away to harness its power...

He had sent a sphere to a region of space no one ever went to. the were doing tests on an asteroid the size of the sphere itself. He knew the formula for making an Omega Partical, he just wanted to know just how destructive it was.

His drones had successfully created an Omega partical. unfortanatly it was unstable and blew up. That entire region of space collpapsed on a subspace level. His Sphere could not go any faster than impulse. Not even a spcae fold was possible. the sphere returned to the asteroid for more experimentation.

The drones had been carefully experimenting for a few years now. At last! A break through! the drones had succeeded in creating a stable Omega-particle. now to harness its power.....

While the Drones on the asteroid were experimenting with the Omega Partical, other drones had been doing other experiments, A few drones had been upgraded to include better personel sheilds, Teleportation Nodes implanted within to allow for Teleportation distances up to 20 miles, The Nanites were better equipped to handle Enemy Nanites, and were also upgraded to better serve as an immune system. Studies on Species 8472 helped with that. In addition The Eye implants were upgraded to have better control over the previous abilities, They were also outfitted with Cloaking technology, The Arms have been upgraded to have Phaser technology Within allowing for Projectile Weapons when Necessary.

Other drones were experimenting with an Accelerating Propulsion system that would allow ships to accelerate to light speed and beyond in areas where Warp and Transwarp feilds just wern't possible. Test flights had proven a success, however advanced sensors would be needed to cope with speeds above 100,000 light years a second.

It took some work but Advanced sensors were created To cope with High speeds.

It was finished. The collective now had the power of the Omega Particle, and could create Bombs designed to destroy 5 Light Years of space.

In a bizarre twist of events, it wasn't long before the BORG realized that with the power of the Omega particle, they could build new reactors designed to use the energy from them. The Collective immediatly underwent a complete refit. What would happen at high speeds, the BORG decided to wait on, instead observing what their new drives did at normal speeds instead. They didn't notice it them selves, but, prolonged exposer to Omega particles caused them to go faster as the energy soaked through their bodies.

The Collective had new Technology.
Our allies our generous, King Warfare thought.
Everything was in a large empty area. He had summoned a few other ships so he could divy up the resources among the rest of the collective. The reasearch had to be done. It had to be assimilated into the collective. King Warfare had the drones begin assimilating the new Technology into the collective. He couldn't wait to bring online the new basic Temporal sheilds. He was going to combine the QC reactors with the Omega drives and see what happened. He bought some HACSHM and some SHABSTM missiles from an Al-Imvadjah merchant and was having the drones assimilate and modify some of them to carry Modified Nanoprobes to attack enemies with or help allies with. Along with the Temporal sheilds he also was given Phase sheilding, which would defenatly help with Multi-Phasic Research. Lastly He was having some drone befin research on the Gravitational weapons he was given. He had some ideas for what to do with those.

The Drones were finished. one QC reactor was broken down with reverse engineering. Nanites were excellent at finding information. the other QC reactors were installed on various ships. The Drones began making QC reactors on the other ships. The Testing of the Temporal Sheilds were a success and were therefore instituted in the Collective. The HACSHM and SHABSTM Missles that were bought were modified beyond recognition to carry the same payload as before, but could also, at the drop of a hat, delever a payload of Nanites for various purposes. Launchers were created to launch these new missles. The knowledge of how to make them was kept for future use. The Phase sheilding was installed in the collective . King Warfare had drones begin work on improving upon that and creating Multi-Phasic Technology. The Drones successfully finished installing the Graviton bombs. Warfare devoted an entire Cube to research on more Gravity weapons, and sheilds. Some of the ships were devoted to figuring out how to link up ships and combine them to make even bigger, more powerful ships. That had proven to be a success.

Warfare was quite happy. Ocean Star, the largest star he knew of, was now covered in Xessmithian energy sails. These sails were collecting the light and converting it to energy, of all types! The Best part was, he got all the energy. The Collective now had 1 billion drones in it. it was time he found a planet.

It took only seconds for the collective to realize that blue delta was the star of choice for it had the largest planet in the system, and it was next to Silverous.

When the collective reached the planet. They discovered Life forms that were semi-intelligent. Warfare did not know what to do with them. They were unfit for assimilation,He did not want to destroy them, to do so would be, Futile. He decided to have the drones do Genetic experiments on them. Thus began, The Riptide Project. It was called the riptide project because when he got down there with the drones. The first thing that was seen was a mysterious stone slab with the word 'Riptide' on there. The planet was then named Riptide.


OOC: For any onlookers, this has begun the Downfall of the BORG Collective. It is going to be replaced with something even scarier. Slivers. I am talking of course, about the single greatest set of cards in Magic the Gathering since the Power Nine. I thourghly realize that not all sliver abilities can translate directly, and that I need to creat some new slivers to be able to even do anything with future Tech. I promise right here and now to do all this responsibly.
