Offical Announcement from LasProd

Following intense discussions between LasProd and the government of Keimonia, we are delighted to announce the acquisition of Uranium mining rights for the next 20 years by Lasatania in the Raven Mountain Pass in Keimonia.

Under the terms of the agreement, LasProd shall make an initial investment of $10bn in the project to cover the establishment of mining facilities and to cover running costs. Profits from the mine shall be split 60-40 between LasProd and the Keimonian government. After 20 years, mining rights and the mining facility itself shall will return to the Keimonian government.

Due to recent insurgent activity in Keimonia, the Overseas Volunteer Force shall deploy 3,000 troops to the country to provide security for the mining operation.

In addition, Lasatania shall donate 12 LAS-F1000 Fistfight aircraft to the Keimonian government for use in counter-insurgency operations.


We look forward to a fruitful relationship with the government of Keimonia.

Bad news: The Liberalist Wing takes this as a raised middle finger from the goverment. The militant wing Total Freedom is going berserk, especially when their dirty bomb incident appears to be going to bananas, after SULEF started the manhunt against the cell attempting the attack. Those fighters are sure going to be good use.

OOC: I'm quitting for today, but not to worry if need be we can deploy a hell of a lot more..!

Blah, Total Freedom has only around 10000 armed men. They would need 10 million to be a serious problem. 100 rangers alone could handle them. Problem is they are in hiding, but CLE is hunting them down with the help of the SULEF.
In few weeks, they are eradicated.

But! The 5 terrorist are still on loose, with the dirty bomb. They wont get far, but its still getting me worried.

The 20 NS years have now passed. The mining facility shall now return to the Keimonian goverment.

OOC: Confirmed. All Lasatanian forces have been withdrawn, the defence of the facility is up to you now!
