"Comrades, I have called you here today to inform you of the monumental changes that are occuring in the United Socialist States of Communist Rule," Premier Lobonsky stated from his podium, "Today an agreement was made with the leader of the Armed Republic of Soviet Bloc to hand over the region formerly known as Georgia, as well as territory north of it."

Gasps were heard in the audience, soon followed by the scribbling of pencils in notebooks.

The Premier continued: "The region handed over will consist of 'Georgia,' and cease at a line of latitude crossing through Volgograd. Any and all persons living in these territories that do not wish to migrate to the ARSB will be welcomed into the new boundaries with reparations. That is all. Thank you; questions?"

A man in a wrinkled suit stood up with his tape recorder, "Comrade Premier, what will become of those citizens choosing to stay in their homes?"

"The leader of the ARSB has assured me they will be offered citizenship and treated fairly."

A Young Woman in the front stood, "Comrade Premier, why would we give away this land which offered us access to the Mediterranean?"

"No comment."

A tough-looking man crossed infront of the Premier,
"No more questions, comrade Premier is a busy man."

As an old ally, (This is Tokarev, I can't access the forums with my normal account for some reason) I would like to know whether you were pressed into this unfairly via blackmail or some other insidious means. This is valuable land you are giving up, which means you were either bullied or you are getting something quite good out of the deal.

The ARSB wishes to announce its official expansion into the areas seceded by the USSCR. As of now, three infantry divisions and a few seperate military units are moving to their new home stations.

Other notable domestic changes occuring are as follows:

1. Demilitarized Free Travel Zone (formerly connecting the USSCR territory of Georgia to the rest of the USSCR [running through Stavropol]) has been terminated.

2. The entire state of Georgia (former USSCR territory) is now being designated as XIII District.

3. The area between the Volga River and Kazakhistan (District IX) is being designated as District XIV.

4. The area between the Volga River and the ARSB District II is being designated District XV.

Each new disctrict will receive a military presence with newly established bases.

Former USSCR civilians are allowed to freely migrate to the USSCR. All former USSCR civilians will receive the same treatment and benefits of all ARSB civilians.
