In light of the very old TEO Post about logistics (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=275828), I've decided to make a MS Excel spreadsheet that will accurately keep track of all of your military needs and crunch the numbers for you.

In that post, he breaks down the naval platforms and the amount of crew roughtly required to operate each one.

What other vehicle "classes" exist in the army and air force and how many personnel is roughly required to operate them?

Also... anyone know about the financial maintance of these vehicles and the crew that runs them?

I have no real information to give you (I'm clueless about financial information and vehicle classes), but I openly support the idea. I was wondering about how I'd accomplish this, I just read the post, too.

I suggest you have it compare how big your military is to how big it needs to be with the amount of people working both actual fighting vehicles and supply vehicles.

The numbers would be highly selective. For the US military, for every shooter there are 7 personel in supply.
