OOC- The earlier thread about the 8.5 trillion from the mercenary fund and the premier's "rainy day fund" going to chemical and biological weapons program was just a show. I am spending the money on the navy instead. We have enough WMDS. I am spending 7 trillion of my savings of 8.5 trillion, I am spending them on the navy.



Ic- CM is announcing it is seeking to acquire 7 trillion dollars worth of new ships, primarily destroyers, frigates, and cruisers. Fast ships that are swift and light, and can maneuver easily. We are especially interested in ships with capabilities that match of exceed the ships of DPUO and his satellite states.

Ic- Okay people! Show me the ships!

I've looked over your storefront, and I'm not really impressed. You didn't spend much time on them, you just gave them numbers and moved on which is why you have so many.

*Shrugs* I got another on the drawing boards already. He Doujin, what're the relative performances of 16", 18" and 20" guns? In other words, would a 16" have, say, longer range, but lower accurate range than an 18"? Assuming all of same barrel length and that each one is firing roughly the same mass of shell, say increasing by 1,000lbs each time.

Doujin: The storefront is under construction, I am going to go back and tweak them individually after the storefront is up and running.

That is not a very good excuse, especially when the ships you "designed" are, well.. no offense - crap.

OOC- Can you really afford that? That's probably going to be 200-500 billion dollars.

OOC: Most of them are not capital ships. The bulk of them are destroyers, frigates, cruisers, etc. We have only ordered two new captial ships.

All commentsi n this thread as I don't really recognize CM IC. Sevaris, CM will never dominate the waves, wether I recognized him IC or not. There are many nations that would outclass him even if he dedicated a hundred trillion to the Navy. Like myself, for example :p

True. I'm actually self sufficient in capital ships, but I had an idea. I'd like to scale down the Doujin-class if necessary, so, in terms of tonnage, etc, it's about the size of the Yamato-class. I'm a firm believer in small ships. Can you help me?

Can we remember that this is a CM thread for CM naval news and those who wish to sell to CM.

OOC: Doujin, what do you suggest I do to make them better? I am going to go back and add one or two paragraph descriptions and edit the actual statlines to make them a little more clear, but besides that I can't think of anything.
